Date: 08 th April 2000 Prof. G.C.ASNANI, MSc., Ph.D. (United Nations Service, Retd.) 822, Sindh Colony, Aundh, Pune (INDIA) Tel: URL: 1) asnani@giaspn01.vsnl.net.in 2) prof.asnani@vsnl.com APPEAL TO HINDU SADHUS Respected Hindu Sadhus, I humbly submit the following for your kind perusal and consideration: 1. Hindu Sadhus are well-versed in the teachings of Hindu religion. You teach that as Hindus we should offer our sincere prayers to God in any form we Hindus like. We can look upon God with form or without form; He is infinite, omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. If we like, we can worship Him in the form of Mother Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Sun, Moon, Stars, Oceans, Rivers, Mountains, Intelligence, Memory, Learning, Valour; in fact, anything that inspires us to make our life noble, sweet and sublime. We are also taught by our religious Sadhus that we should respect others' ways of worship and prayers. We should be good, helpful and noble in our conduct towards all, irrespective of their caste, creed or colour. Under such enlightening teachings of the Sadhus, we-ordinary Hindus-define this to be the substance of "religion". Anything contrary to this is not religion at all. Our Hindu Sadhus and we ordinary Hindus came to Believe that every other religion also should be teaching the same thing. 2. I humbly submit, Sirs, that this Belief needs to be examined; to closely see whether it conforms to the facts of life or is not supported by facts of life. As it stands today, every Religion has 3 aspects: a) Relationship between man and God b) Relationship between man and other persons of the same Religion 2

c) Relationship between man and persons of other Religions. 3. I wanted to understand why there are inter-religious wars; why Partition of India took place at all. After the Partition of India in 1947, I undertook a study of Islam and Christianity. For this study, I did not like to go through second-hand or third-hand opinions and writings of different persons, however great they may be considered to be. I collected the standard texts of the Holy Quran and the Holy Bible. There are standard English editions of the Holy Bible which are available anywhere in the world. For standard English translation of the Holy Quran, I procured the following books: a) Oxford University Press Publication: "The Koran" by A.J.Arberry b) 50 Volumes of the Sacred Books of the East, Edited by Max Muller, first published by Oxford University Press in 1900, now published in India by Motilal Banarsidas, under sponsorship of UNESCO; Volumes 6 & 9 of these Sacred Books deal with Holy Quran. c) The Holy Quran with Arabic Text and English translation by Marmaduke Pickthal, published by Kitab Bhawan, 1214, Kalan Mahal, Daryaganj, New Delhi All the 3 translations of the Holy Quran tell us the same thing. I am enclosing some Extracts from the Oxford University Press Publication of the Holy Quran. Similarly, I procured and read standard commentaries on the Holy Bible written by a number of reputed Christian Scholars. 4. I came to the conclusion, which can be verified by anyone, that in respect of aspect 'c' of Religion (relationship between man and persons of other Religions), Islam and Christianity do not teach respect or even tolerance for the followers or worshipmethods of other Religions. In simple language, they teach hatred and war against followers of other Religions, particularly against followers of Hindu religion. They teach that people of other religions are condemned and wretched ones whose Religions have to be destroyed and removed from the surface of the earth, who 3

have got to be converted out of their religions by any means, even by slaughtering them, if necessary. I was surprised to find this teaching of Islam and Christianity, which teaching was quite contrary to what I had learnt as a member of Sacred Sanatana Hindu Dharma. But this revelation gave me one satisfaction, that I could now understand the origin and history of the World Wars I & II and also the history of Hindu-Muslim Conflicts, including the cause of sufferings of the Hindu community; and also the problems which have been developing in north-east India and elsewhere in the country, connected with Christian Missionaries. 5. We have to judge any Religion, not by what is done or proclaimed by a few individuals of that community, here and there. There will always be individuals in every religious community who would be noble or ignoble in their conduct. We should not be hasty in speaking about other religions in terms of the noble or ignoble conduct of a few persons of a community here and there. We should rather go by the following criteria : i) Basic teachings of the Holy Quran in respect of Islam and the basic teachings of the Holy Bible in respect of Christianity. ii) The past histories of these Religions-Islam and Christianity iii) The recent and current histories of Islam and Christianity. Very few books are available in India on the havoc done by Christian Church in the world. Now, the Holy Pope is going around "apologising" for horrible crimes of Christian Church against humanity in the past. I procured quite a few books on history of Christian Church and even on the history of Islam from outside India. By and large, 24 volumes of Encyclopaedia Britannica are also quite useful in studying the horrors of the Christian Church. I learnt how, they physically tortured, murdered and burnt alive those who disagreed with the Doctrine of the Church; how they battered to death their babies, looted their houses and raped their women in the presence of helpless men as prescribed in the Holy Bible (Isaiah 13; 15-16). Among other brutal crimes, they also destroyed our Hindu religion in Eastern- 4

Europe by destroying Hindu Temples and Hindu Libraries. In fact, Islam learnt these horrible things from the Christian Church. The current violence and secessionist movements of the locals in North-East India (Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, etc.) are the results of the work of the Christian Church. The violence and terrorism which brought Partition of India in 1947 is the work of Islam as taught in the Holy Quran. The Church-men and Muslims are following the teachings of the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran respectively. The Sermon on the Mount in the Old Testament and Christ's Message of love and turning of the other cheek in the New Testament are used mostly for show and for trapping the people inside Christianity. There are other teachings in the Holy Bible, which teach hatred and war against non-christians. The Church follows those teachings of hatred and war in action while it preaches love and peace from its pulpit. Their methods are very complex and secretive. Only a careful study of their actions will reveal the truth. External appearance of the church can be very deceptive. I undertook this study and got my head cleared up, leaving no doubt in my mind about the criminal activities in which the Church had been engaged during the last full seventeen centuries, to spread Christianity throughout the world. The Church had been the supporter of Western Colonialism and exploitation throughout the world. Presently, in addition to Army, Navy and Air Force as three armed Forces, the Western Colonial Powers use the Christian Church also as a formidable Fourth Force acting in every country of the world; to re-establish Western Colonialism in one form or the other. The Church derives the inspiration and justification for its activities from the Holy Bible. A few sample Quotations from the Holy Bible are given in Enclosure 1(A). The Jesuit Missionaries who took to educational and social service activities after 1525 AD, to establish Pope's Absolute Dictatorial Authority on Earth, under inspiration from St. Loyola, have had to take an oath known as 'Jesuit Oath' given in Enclosure 1(B). It was available in earlier Christian literature and now is available on Internet also ( That 5

oath prescribes TERROR, VIOLENCE, and DECEPTION; it has been the source of crime against humanity and of terrible Christian wars on the Earth. If this Internet home-page put up by some Christian organizations is wrong and malafide, the Vatican can legally contest and have it removed from the Internet. It cannot. The Oath is well-documented. One can see it on Internet even today, in April In practice, almost all the denominations of the Christian Church follow the methods enunciated in this "Jesuit Oath" for converting people to Christianity. 6. In this respect, Islam has played less of Hide-and-Seek Game. Islam has been more Honest and Straightforward: "Accept Islam or die; you can also live as a slave (Dhimmi) of Muslims in the first instance till you get converted. If, however, you persist in not getting converted to Islam, then be prepared to lose your limb, your life, wife, children and everything. Enclosure 2(A) gives some sample quotations from the Holy Quran. Every follower of Islam has to join the "Islamic Jihad" at every stage of his life. Jihad is Islamic struggle to firmly establish Islam on every bit of Earth's surface, to the exclusion of all other religions, particularly Hindu religion which is referred to as religion of the Idolaters, Pagans or Kaffirs. This is clearly explained in the Book "Quranic Concept of War" by Brig. S.K.Malik of Pakistan with Foreword written by Military Dictator Gen. Zia-Ul-Haq (Gen. Mushraff of Pakistan has now taken over the Military Dictatorship in Pakistan). This Book was published in Lahore (Pakistan) and is reprinted (1986) by Himalayan Books, 17-L, Connaught Circus, New Delhi (India). TERRORISM is an important component of this Jihad. Some quotations from this Book of Brig. S.K. Malik are given in Enclosure 2(B). 7. Sufiism, which is really a component of Hindu Philosophy, not accepted by the Holy Quran, did almost the same thing in favour of Islam as educational-cum-social work programmes did in favour of Christianity. The traffic in Sufiism has been one way, from Hinduism to Islam and none from Islam to Hinduism. 6

8. For information of Hindus, I shall be issuing, as I have sometimes done in the past, some Information Write-ups on relationship between Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. For the moment, my request to our revered Hindu Sadhus is not to speak much on Islam and Christianity until our Sadhus become more familiar with the ideology and history of Islam and Christianity with relation to Hinduism. The Slogans "Hindu-Muslim Bhai Bhai" or "Hindu-Christian Bhai Bhai" and "Islam, Christianity and Hinduism teach the same thing" are not doing good to Hindu Society. These slogans are misguiding Hindus; one-way traffic has been established from Hinduism to Islam and from Hinduism to Christianity. A number of Hindu girls are marrying Muslims and Christians. They correctly tell their parents, "Your religious Sadhus are declaring that all religions teach the same thing. Then why are you taking objection to our getting converted to Islam or Christianity?" Hindu parents have become helpless. They put the blame on Hindu Sadhus for teaching such things. Muslim Maulvis and Christian Padris never teach their followers that all religions teach the same thing. In fact, they teach hatred and war against Hinduism. 9. My humble request to you revered Hindu Sadhus, Sirs, is that you may kindly study the teachings of Holy Bible and Holy Quran along with history of Christian Church and Islam and then decide whether it is right or wrong to declare before your Hindu audience that all religions teach the same thing. 10. Reason-wise, both Islam and Christianity are very weak, but in aggressiveness, both of them are very strong; they do not tolerate any questions. Both Islam and Christianity have the following Common Beliefs: i) God is jealous. Worship of God in the form of an Idol or any other Symbol like Sun, Moon, Stars, Earth, Ocean, Rivers, etc. is equivalent to worshipping somebody other than the One God. This arouses jealousy of the One God who inflicts severe punishment for this type of worship. Hindus 7

ii) iii) iv) who worship God in many forms including Nature, are the worst offenders according to Christianity and Mohammedanism. Hindus are called Heathens, Pagans, Condemned ones, infidels, idolaters, Kaffirs, etc., deserving severe punishment, torture and extermination wherever possible. Christians and Muslims have both entered into Covenants with God, by which each religious community has received an Exclusive, Irrevocable Power of Attorney from God that its way of worship alone is right, that after death they alone will go to Heaven, others will go to Hell. Of course, the way of worship by Christians is different from that of Muslims. However, both communities claim Exclusive Rights. Believers of Islam become Non- Believers for Christianity and vice-versa. This Heaven for Believers is eternal, and the Hell for Non-Believers is also eternal. Once in Heaven, their enjoyments are eternal; once in Hell, others' sufferings are also eternal. There will come a Day of Judgement when all the dead ones will rise and stand before God to get the verdict of either Eternal Heaven or Eternal Hell. In addition to their Common Beliefs, the Christians and Muslims have also their own special Beliefs. Some of those are outlined below : Special Beliefs of Christianity i) Birth by routine sex relationship between husband and wife is a sin. As such, we common people are all sinners. Jesus Christ was born to Virgin Mary, without routine sexual relationship; hence his birth is free from sin. ii) iii) Jesus Christ is SON of God. Jesus is the Only Son of God; God has no other Son, nor shall he have any other son or daughter. Hence, Christ is the only way of communication with God. Jesus rose to life a few days after his Death on the Cross. This Resurrection is a proof of His Divinity. 8

iv) Through crucification, Jesus has paid for the redemption of all sins of all his followers (Christians), at all places, for all time to come. Hence, Jesus is the right and sure way for human salvation. v) Jesus has given all Authority to the Church. What Church commands is the LAW for the human race, both on Earth and in Heaven; no one should question it. Any deviation from the command of the Church is violation of God's Law and hence punishable, as per by God's Decree. Church is the only authority in respect of Spiritual and Secular matters of human beings. All other Rules of conduct are the violation of Divine God's Command. vi) vii) viii) ix) Jesus is the Way, the only Way, to reach God. Those who Believe in Jesus as the only Way are assured of eternal paradise of pleasure after death; others are condemned persons on this Earth, who will go to eternal hell of fire after death. As such, the human race has been divided into two classes of "Holy Believers" and "Unholy Others"; Holy Christians, Unholy Non-Christians. It is the spiritual, religious duty of the Christian Church and of every individual Christian to convert others to Christianity. Through this conversion, they are doing good to every non-christian in as much as they are taking him out of false religion and false ways of worship to the only true religion (Christianity); they are saving the condemned unholy person and bringing him into the holy group of Christians, under the protection of the Shepherd Christ and his Authorised Agency (Christian Church). Idol-worship or Symbol-worship including worship of Sun, Moon, Stars, etc. particularly of Non-Christian idols/symbols, is un-acceptable to Jealous God; Such worship annoys Jealous God and he sends his severe punishment for such worship. x) The Holy Bible is the Word of God, to be obeyed by all, without question. 9

Special Beliefs of Mohammedanism i) There is no Power other than Allah. Prophet Mohammed is His Representative/Messenger on the Earth. ii) Allah gave this Earth to Prophet Mohammed; the latter gave this Earth to Mohammedans. As such, the whole Earth legitimately belongs to Mohammedans. If others are to live on this Earth, they have to live as Mohammedans or as willing sub-ordinates (Dhimmis) to Mohammedans, paying Jizya Tax till they get converted to Mohammedanism. iii) Allah revealed all His Laws of correct conduct through Prophet Mohammed; his is the correct conduct in all respects-sitting, standing, eating, drinking, dressing, sexing, fighting, taking, giving, etc. He has been the ideal representative of Allah, the best and last of Allah's Prophets; there can be no Allah's Prophet after him; anyone claiming to be a Prophet after Mohammed is a hoax; followers of such a hoax prophet deserve extreme punishment and even extermination from this Earth. iv) The Laws of correct conduct spoken and practised by Prophet Mohammed form the Laws of SHARIAT. This Shariat is the Divine Law of life on this Earth. All other laws of conduct enunciated by any other person or group of persons on this Earth are invalid unless they are perfectly in line with Shariat. Any civil, moral, criminal or economic law, not in line with Shariat, is an unjust, immoral and tyrannical law which has to be removed from the surface of the Earth; to remove this type of injustice and tyranny from this Earth is the bounden religious duty of every Mohammedan. As such, no government other than Mohammedan government, functioning strictly under Shariat Law, is a legitimate government; other governments have to be abolished; there is no other option for a Mohammedan; he cannot live under the rule of any other law, wherever he may be living on this Earth. v) To establish Mohammedanism and Shariat Law in every part of this Earth, Mohammedans have to follow, 10

vi) individually and collectively, the following three stages of struggle (Jihad): a) Persuation and quiet pressurisation. b) TERRORISM: This should create a sort of TERROR in the minds of non-mohammedans, that sooner or later, they have got to become Mohammedans; the sooner they adopt this as their own religion, the better it is for them; otherwise, nothing is safe for them -their limbs, their life, wife, family, friends, property, land, etc. When such TERROR is created and established in the minds of non-mohammedans, the latter shall have no psychological will to fight a pitched battle or military war against Mohammedans. Even if a pitched battle or military war is organised by non-mohammedans, their defeat is assured because they have been terrorised to lose self-confidence; within their minds they feel frightening diffidence, to fight. c) Pitched Battle/Military War: The psychologically weakened, emaciated and demoralized military force of non-mohammedans cannot face the Mohammedan force which believes that it is fighting for the cause of Allah, for establishing His religion and His Law of Shariat on this Earth; Allah is Great (Allah-O-Akbar). This three-stage struggle (Jihad) to establish Mohammedan religion and Law of Shariat on this Earth is a religious obligation for every Mohammedan; to relax on this front is tantamount to dis-obedience of the Command of Allah; the obedient ones will have all the fruits of Jihad : global empire, wealth, and access to all enjoyments. Should a Mohammedan die in this God's war against non- Mohammedans, he will be greeted by beautiful Hoories at the gates of Heaven; even beautiful handsome boys will be available to the Mohammedan for his enjoyment in the gardens of Heaven; he can sit there reclining against soft cushions, the Hoories will come to him with glasses of wine which does not create intoxication; the Hoories cast enchanting glances at the reclining Mohammedan and he 11

vii) viii) enjoys infinite happiness in the company of handsome Hoories and beautiful boys; the Mohammedan does not grow weak or old at all in that Heaven; eternal enjoyment in that company is the fruit he has legitimately earned through living and dying in the cause of Allah, the cause of His religion of Mohammedanism on the Earth. On this Earth, Mohammedans form community and community laws of their own, as per the Law of Shariat; all other laws are unjust and tyrannical and hence invalid for them; they have the divine right to disobey all such laws. For them, political boundaries have no meaning; those boundaries are made by man, not by Allah. The allpowerful Allah has validated only one community - the Mohammedan community; one country-the Earth; one loyalty -loyalty to the Holy Prophet Mohammed; one valid Law-the Law of Shariat. A Mohammedan belongs to only one nationality-mohammed's nationality; his allegiance is to only one land-the Holy Mecca. Every piece of land under Mohammedan rule and under the Law of Shariat is a land of justice and peace for him; every other piece of land is a land of tyranny for him where he has to wage a war of Jihad and Sabotage for establishing Mohammedanism. If a Mohammedan is taking his food and hears a call from Mohammedans outside in a street-quarrel, he has to leave his food and rush outside to join his Mohammedan brothers. When all other rules and rulers are removed from the surface of the Earth and replaced by the Mohammedan ruler under the Law of Shariat, then there will be total peace and justice on this Earth. As such, the Mohammedans are working only for Peace; Mohammedanism is "Peace and Justice". It is for this that they are fighting; the second name for Mohammedanism is PEACE. Mohammedans want to establish this PEACE on this earth. They cannot rest until this type of PEACE is established. 12

ix) About one hundred years back, in most literature and in spoken language, the religion propagated by Holy Prophet Mohammed was called Mohammedanism and his followers were called Mohammedans; the words Islam and Muslims were not common. To give greater legitimacy and acceptability to this system, the words "Islam" and "Muslims" were made to become more common in usage; it is not a religion given by Prophet Mohammed; this religion already existed with Allah and it prevailed in Allah's Heaven; Prophet Mohammed only brought it down from Heaven to this Earth. Religion prevailing in the Heaven of Allah was and is ISLAM and its followers are MUSLIMS. 11. The weakness of these Christian and Mohammedan Beliefs is very obvious, but who is to question? These Beliefs, without open-ness to reasoning, have led to cruelty and wars. As Prof. Radhakrishnan, late President of India, said in his Book "Hindu Way of Life" (Unwin Books, 1960, 92 pages) as follows: a) "Hinduism is wholly free from the strange obsession of some faiths that the acceptance of a particular religious metaphysic is necessary for salvation, and nonacceptance thereof is heinous sin meriting eternal punishment in hell" (page 28). b) "Heresy-hunting, the favorite game of many religions, is singularly absent from Hinduism" (page 28). c) "The intolerance of narrow monotheism is written in letters of blood across the history of man from the time when first the tribes of Israel burst into the land of Canaan. The worshippers of the one jealous God are egged on to aggressive wars against people of alien cults. They invoke divine sanction for the cruelties inflicted on the conquered. The spirit of old Israel is inherited by Christianity and Islam (page 40). d) "Wars of religion which are the outcome of fanaticism that prompts and justifies the extermination of aliens of different creeds were practically unknown in Hindu India (Page 40) 13

e) "Hinduism insists not on religious conformity but on a spiritual and ethical outlook in life". (Page 55) (Can any one call Prof. Radhakrishnan an Ignorant HINDU COMMUNALIST? He was a learned and knowledgeable person; we must listen to what he has written) 12. The strength of both Christianity and Islam lies in "Strength to Rule over Non-Believers"; might is right. It should be very clear to Hindus that Islam and Christianity, based on force and Belief without reasoning, cannot last for long; the two conflicting armies will collide and will destroy each other; Sanatana Dharma, will survive. But for survival of Sanatana Dharma within the present Hindu Society, there is needed combination of Yogeshwar Krishna and Dhanushdhari Arjuna, as stated in the last sloka of Bhagawat Geeta. Survival of the Fittest is the LAW OF LIFE. We Hindus must realize that physical strength is also required for survival. Combination of moral, intellectual and spiritual strength on one side and physical and military strength on the other side-this combination- is essential for our Hindus' survival. We have to learn lessons, which we have partly forgotten, from our Veda, our Geeta, our Ramayana and Mahabharata. Lessons from our Religion are very very simple and clear; in course of time, we made them very complicated, got off the tracks and have suffered a lot for several centuries. With coolness and clarity of mind, sharpness of our intellect and shining brilliance of our spiritual inheritance, we must recover our memory, recover our strength and move forward; the success shall be ours. It appears that the Lord of Sanatana Hindu Dharma has already arranged our victory; we have just to function as His Tools; His WILL in the form of SANATANA DHARMA shall prevail. We are blessed to function as His hands and tools, at this momentous time in the history of mankind. 13. During the last two centuries, with advancement of free thinking in Europe and USA, the illogical doctrine of the Christian Church has largely lost its appeal for the Christian Laity and the number of Christians 14

attending the Church has been dwindling. The Church is aware of this weakening of its doctrinaire hold on its own people on its own land. But they are not to give in so easily. They try to reap the fruits of their own efforts which they have made during the last two centuries in India and neighbourhood; they have spread poison against Hindu religion in the literature and thinking of the western Christian laity. The gun-makers of Europe and USA are prepared to use the Church for re-establishing their colonial rule in India in one form or the other. The Church has painted the picture of Hindus dying of poverty, hunger, disease, superstition, illiteracy, etc., all due to the evil Hindu religion. The Church asks the gunmanufactures and gullible Christian laity of USA/Europe to provide money to remove evil Hinduism from India; the drop-outs of Europe and USA are easily recruited to join as Missionaries to spread discord and confusion in Hindu community in India. Inside India, Communists are ever ready to destroy Hindu religion, to disintegrate India so that they can come to power, somewhere in some parts of the country and make a comfortable and powerful living for themselves. Fanatical followers of the Christian Church and of Islam in India have joined hands with the Indian job-seekers and drop-out Missionaries from Europe/USA to attack Hindu society by creating confused thinking through the socalled SECULARISM which is another name for rabid anti-hindu communalism; they call awakening Hindus as anti-national communalists! Thieves shouting "Thief, Thief" and getting away! Some politicians and press people are also there to make some money coming from outside India. It was essentially Hindu community which made sacrifices and secured Independence for India from British Rule. In the Post- Independent period also, it is essentially the Hindu community which has to take the country forward. Other religious communities are welcome to join the main-stream. But if they choose to remain stuck to their out-dated fanatical Beliefs, we Hindus can just ignore them and leave them in peace; let us not pamper them and spoil them. Let Hindu community be united and strong in the name of Hindu Dharma. If Hindu Community is strong, India is strong; if Hindu community is weak, India is weak. 15

Our revered Hindu Sadhus can play an important vital role in this progress of India and the World. With profound respects to our Hindu religious Teachers, I remain In service of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, (G.C.ASNANI) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Enclosure 1(A) Some Quotations from the Holy Bible 1. Old Testament, EXODUS 23; 23-24: God said, "My angel will go ahead of you and take you into the land of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Cannanites, the Hivites, the Jebusites, and I will destroy them. Do not bow down to their gods or worship them, and do not adopt their religious practices. Destroy their gods and break down their sacred stone pillars. 2. Old Testament, EXODUS 34; 13: God said "Tear down their altars, destroy their sacred pillars, and cut down the symbols of their goddess Asherah". 3. Old Testament, EXODUS 31; 17-18: Prophet Moses commanded: "Now kill every boy and kill every woman who has had sexual intercourse, but keep alive for yourself all the girls and all the women who are virgins". 4. Old Testament, DEUTERONOMY 4; 16-19: Prophet Moses said, "Do not sin by making for yourself an idol in any form at all-whether man or woman, animal or bird, reptile or fish. Do not be tempted to worship and serve what you see in the sky - the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars". 5. Old Testament, DEUTERONOMY 20; 16-18: Prophet Moses said, "When you capture cities in that land that the Lord your God is giving you, kill every one. Completely destroy all the people: the Hittites, the Amorites, the Cannanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, the Jebusites, as the Lord ordered you to do". 16

6. Old Testament, DEUTERONOMY 32; 16: Prophet Moses said, "Their idolatry made the Lord jealous; the evil they did made Him angry". 7. Old Testament, DEUTERONOMY 32; 21-25: The Lord said, "With their idols they have made me angry, jealous with their so-called gods My anger will flame up like fire and burn everything on Earth. It will reach the Earth below and consume the roots of the mountains. I will bring on them endless disasters and use all my arrows against them. They will die from hunger and fever; they will die from terrible diseases. I will send wild animals to attack them, and poisonous snakes to bite them. War will bring death in the streets; terrors will strike in the homes. Young men and young women will die; neither babies nor old men will be spared." 8. Old Testament, 2 Chronicles 34; 3-7: "In the 8 th year that Josia was King, while he was still very young, he began to worship the God of his ancestor King David. Four years later, he began to destroy the Pagan places of worship, the symbol of the Goddess Asherah, and all the other idols. Under his direction, his men smashed the altars where Ball was worshipped and tore down the incense-altars near them. They ground to dust the images of Asherah and all the other idols and then scattered the dust on the graves of the people who had sacrificed to them. He burnt the bones of the pagan priests on the altars where they had worshipped. By doing all these, he made Judah and Jerusalem rituality clean again. He did the same thing in the cities and the devastated areas of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, and as far north as Naphtali. Throughout the territory of the Northern Kingdom he smashed the altars and the symbols of Asherah, ground the idols to dust, and broke in pieces all the incense-altars." 9. Old Testament, Isaiah 44; 9-11: God, the Lord, said, "All those who make idols are worthless, and the gods they prize so highly are useless. Those who worship these gods are blind and ignorant-and they will be disgraced. It's no good making a metal image to worship as a god! Every one who worships it will be humiliated. The people who make idols are human 17

beings and nothing more. Let them come and stand trial-they will be terrified and will suffer disgrace." 10. Old Testament, Exodus 29; 10-28: God's Instructions for ordaining Aaron and his Sons as Priests: "Bring the bull to the front of the Tent of my presence and tell Aaron and his sons to put their hands on its head. Kill the bull there in my Holy presence at the entrance of the Tent. Take some of the bull's blood and with your finger put it on the projections of the altar. Pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. Next, take all the fat which covers the internal organs, the best part of the liver, and the two kidneys with the fat on them and burn them on the altar as an offering to me. "Take one of the rams and tell Aaron and his sons to put their hands on its head, kill it and take its blood and throw it against all four sides of the altar. Cut the ram in pieces; wash its internal organs and its hind legs, and put them on top of the head and other pieces. Burn the whole ram on the altar as a food offering. The odour of this offering pleases me." "But burn the bull's flesh, its skin, and its intestines outside the camp. This is an offering to take away the sins of the priests." "Take the other ram-the ram used for dedication-and tell Aaron and his sons to put their hands on its head. Kill it, take some of its blood and put it on the lobes of the right ears of Aaron and his sons, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Throw the rest of the blood against all four sides of the altar. Take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his clothes and on his sons and on their clothes. He, his sons, and their clothes will then be dedicated to me. Cut away the ram's fat, the fat-tail, the fat covering the internal organs, the best part of the liver, the two kidneys with the fat on them, and the right thigh. From the basket of the bread which has been offered to me, take one loaf of each kind: one loaf made with olive-oil and one made without it, and one biscuit. Put all this food in the hands of Aaron and his sons and tell them to dedicate it to me as a special gift. Then take it from them and 18

burn it on the altar, on top of the burnt-offering, as a foodoffering to me. The odour of this offering pleases me." "Take the breast of this ram and dedicate it to me as a special gift. This part of the animal will be yours." "When a priest is ordained, the breast and the thigh of the ram being used for the ordination are to be dedicated to me as a special gift and set aside for the priests. It is my unchanging decision that when my people make their fellowship-offerings, the breast and the thigh of the animal belong to the priests. This is the people's gift to me, the Lord." 11. Old Testament, EXODUS, 38-39: The Daily Offerings: "Every day for all time to come, sacrifice on the altar two oneyear-old lambs. Sacrifice one of the lambs in the morning and the other in the evening." 12. Old Testament, ISAIAH 13; 14-16: The Lord commanded, "The foreigners living in Babylon will run away to their own countries scattering like deer escaping from hunters, like sheep without a shepherd. Anyone who is caught will be stabbed to death. While they look on helplessly, their babies will be battered to death, their houses will be looted and their wives will be raped." 13. New Testament, Luke 12; 51-53: Jesus said, "Do you suppose that I came to bring peace to the World? No, not peace, but division. From now on a family of five will be divided, three against two and two against three. Fathers will be against their sons, and sons against their fathers; mothers will be against their daughters and daughters against their mothers; mothers-in-law will be against their daughters-in-law, and daughters-in-law against their mothers-in-law." 14. New Testament, LUKE 22; 36:Jesus said, "Whoever has a purse or a bag must take it; and whoever has no sword must sell his coat and buy one." 15. New Testament, MARK 16; 15-16: Jesus said, "Go throughout the whole world and preach the Gospel to all mankind. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned." 19

16. New Testament, MATHEW 16; 18-19: Jesus said, "Peter: you are a rock, and on this rock I will build my Church, and not even death will ever be able to overcome it. I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; what you prohibit on Earth will be prohibited in Heaven, and what you permit on Earth will be permitted in Heaven." 17. New Testament, ACTS 16; 6: They traveled through the region of Phrygia and Golatia because the Holy Spirit did not let them to preach the message in the province of Asia." 18. New Testament, ACTS 7; 41-42: "It was then that they made an idol in the shape of a bull, offered sacrifice, and had a feast in honour of what they themselves had made. So God turned away from them and gave them over to worship the stars of Heaven." 19. New Testament, ACTS 17; 29-31: "Since we are God's children, we should not suppose that his nature is anything like an image of gold or silver or stone shaped by the art and the skill of man. God has overlooked the times when the people did not know him, but now he commands all of them everywhere to turn away from their evil ways. For he has fixed a day in which he will judge the whole world with justice by means of a man he has chosen. He has given proof of this to every one by raising that man from death! 20. New Testament, Paul's Letter No.1 to CORINTHIANS 7: 4-6: "So then, about eating the food offered to idols: We know that an idol stands for something that does not really exist; we know that there is only one God. Even if there are so-called 'gods', whether in Heaven or on Earth, and even though there are many of these 'gods' and 'lords', yet there is for us only one God, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live." 21. New Testament, Paul's Letter No. 1 to CORINTHIANS 10, 20: "What I am saying is that what is sacrificed on Pagan altars is offered to Demons, not to God". 20

Last updated Oct. 12, 1999 "When a Jesuit of the minor rank is to be elevated to command, he is conducted into the Chapel of the Convent of the Order, where there are only three others present, the principal or Superior standing in front of the altar. On either side stands a monk, one of whom holds a banner of yellow and white, which are the Papal colors, and the other a black banner with a dagger and red cross above a skull and crossbones, with the word INRI, and below them the words IUSTUM, NECAR, REGES, IMPIOUS. The meaning of which is: It is just to exterminate or annihilate impious or heretical Kings, Governments, or Rulers. Upon the floor is a red cross at which the postulant or candidate kneels. The Superior hands him a small black crucifix, which he takes in his left hand and presses to his heart, and the Superior at the same time presents to him a dagger, which he grasps by the blade and holds the point against his heart, the Superior still holding it by the hilt, and thus addresses the postulant:" Superior speaks: My son, heretofore you have been taught to act the dissembler: among Roman Catholics to be a Roman Catholic, and to be a spy even among your own brethren; to believe no man, to trust no man. Among the Reformers, to be a reformer; among the Huguenots, to be a Huguenot; among the Calvinists, to be a Calvinist; among other Protestants, generally to be a Protestant, and obtaining their confidence, to seek even to preach from their pulpits, and to denounce with all the vehemence in your nature our Holy Religion and the Pope; and even to descend so low as to become a Jew among Jews, that you might be enabled to gather 21

together all information for the benefit of your Order as a faithful soldier of the Pope. You have been taught to insidiously plant the seeds of jealousy and hatred between communities, provinces, states that were at peace, and incite them to deeds of blood, involving them in war with each other, and to create revolutions and civil wars in countries that were independent and prosperous, cultivating the arts and the sciences and enjoying the blessings of peace. To take sides with the combatants and to act secretly with your brother Jesuit, who might be engaged on the other side, but openly opposed to that with which you might be connected, only that the Church might be the gainer in the end, in the conditions fixed in the treaties for peace and that the end justifies the means. You have been taught your duty as a spy, to gather all statistics, facts and information in your power from every source; to ingratiate yourself into the confidence of the family circle of Protestants and heretics of every class and character, as well as that of the merchant, the banker, the lawyer, among the schools and universities, in parliaments and legislatures, and the judiciaries and councils of state, and to be all things to all men, for the Pope's sake, whose servants we are unto death. You have received all your instructions heretofore as a novice, a neophyte, and have served as co-adjurer, confessor and priest, but you have not yet been invested with all that is necessary to command in the Army of Loyola in the service of the Pope. You must serve the proper time as the instrument and executioner as directed by your superiors; for none can command here who has not consecrated his labors with the blood of the heretic; for "without the shedding of blood no man can be saved." Therefore, to fit yourself for your work and make your own salvation sure, you will, in addition to your former oath of obedience to your order and allegiance to the Pope, repeat after me--- The Extreme Oath of the Jesuits: 22

"I, _ now, in the presence of Almighty God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the blessed Michael the Archangel, the blessed St. John the Baptist, the holy Apostles St. Peter and St. Paul and all the saints and sacred hosts of heaven, and to you, my ghostly father, the Superior General of the Society of Jesus, founded by St. Ignatius Loyola in the Pontificate of Paul the Third, and continued to the present, do by the womb of the virgin, the matrix of God, and the rod of Jesus Christ, declare and swear, that his holiness the Pope is Christ's Vice-regent and is the true and only head of the Catholic or Universal Church throughout the earth; and that by virtue of the keys of binding and loosing, given to his Holiness by my Savior, Jesus Christ, he hath power to depose heretical kings, princes, states, commonwealths and governments, all being illegal without his sacred confirmation and that they may safely be destroyed. Therefore, to the utmost of my power I shall and will defend this doctrine of his Holiness' right and custom against all usurpers of the heretical or Protestant authority whatever, especially the Lutheran of Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and the now pretended authority and churches of England and Scotland, and branches of the same now established in Ireland and on the Continent of America and elsewhere; and all adherents in regard that they be usurped and heretical, opposing the sacred Mother Church of Rome. I do now renounce and disown any allegiance as due to any heretical king, prince or state named Protestants or Liberals, or obedience to any of the laws, magistrates or officers. I do further declare that the doctrine of the churches of England and Scotland, of the Calvinists, Huguenots and others of the name Protestants or Liberals to be damnable and they themselves damned who will not forsake the same. I do further declare, that I will help, assist, and advise all or any of his Holiness' agents in any place wherever I shall be, in Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, England, Ireland or America, or in any other Kingdom or territory I shall come to, and do my uttermost to extirpate the heretical Protestants or Liberals' doctrines and to destroy all their pretended powers, regal or otherwise. 23

I do further promise and declare, that notwithstanding I am dispensed with, to assume my religion heretical, for the propaganda of the Mother Church's interest, to keep secret and private all her agents' counsels from time to time, as they may entrust me and not to divulge, directly or indirectly, by word, writing or circumstance whatever; but to execute all that shall be proposed, given in charge or discovered unto me, by you, my ghostly father, or any of this sacred covenant. I do further promise and declare, that I will have no opinion or will of my own, or any mental reservation whatever, even as a corpse or cadaver (perinde ac cadaver), but will unhesitatingly obey each and every command that I may receive from my superiors in the Militia of the Pope and of Jesus Christ. That I may go to any part of the world withersoever I may be sent, to the frozen regions of the North, the burning sands of the desert of Africa, or the jungles of India, to the centers of civilization of Europe, or to the wild haunts of the barbarous savages of America, without murmuring or repining, and will be submissive in all things whatsoever communicated to me. I furthermore promise and declare that I will, when opportunity present, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do, to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth; and that I will spare neither age, sex or condition; and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics, rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants' heads against the walls, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race. That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poisoned cup, the strangulating cord, the steel of the poniard or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity, or authority of the person or persons, whatever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agent of the Pope or Superior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Faith, of the Society of Jesus. In confirmation of which, I hereby dedicate my life, my soul and all my corporal powers, and with this dagger which I 24

now receive, I will subscribe my name written in my own blood, in testimony thereof; and should I prove false or weaken in my determination, may my brethren and fellow soldiers of the Militia of the Pope cut off my hands and my feet, and my throat from ear to ear, my belly opened and sulphur burned therein, with all the punishment that can be inflicted upon me on earth and my soul be tortured by demons in an eternal hell forever! All of which, I, _, do swear by the Blessed Trinity and blessed Sacraments, which I am now to receive, to perform and on my part to keep inviolable; and do call all the heavenly and glorious host of heaven to witness the blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist, and witness the same further with my name written and with the point of this dagger dipped in my own blood and sealed in the face of this holy covenant." (He receives the wafer from the Superior and writes his name with the point of his dagger dipped in his own blood taken from over his heart.) Superior speaks: "You will now rise to your feet and I will instruct you in the Catechism necessary to make yourself known to any member of the Society of Jesus belonging to this rank. In the first place, you, as a Brother Jesuit, will with another mutually make the ordinary sign of the cross as any ordinary Roman Catholic would; then one cross his wrists, the palms of his hands open, and the other in answer crosses his feet, one above the other; the first points with forefinger of the right hand to the center of the palm of the left, the other with the forefinger of the left hand points to the center of the palm of the right; the first then with his right hand makes a circle around his head, touching it; the other then with the forefinger of his left hand touches the left side of his body just below his heart; the first then with his right hand draws it across the throat of the other, and the latter then with a dagger down the stomach and abdomen of the first. The first then says Iustum; and the other answers Necar; the first Reges. The other answers Impious." (The meaning of which has already been explained.) "The first will then present a small piece of paper 25

folded in a peculiar manner, four times, which the other will cut longitudinally and on opening the name Jesu will be found written upon the head and arms of a cross three times. You will then give and receive with him the following questions and answers: Question: From whither do you come? Answer: The Holy faith. Q. Whom do you serve? A. The Holy Father at Rome, the Pope, and the Roman Catholic Church Universal throughout the world. Q. Who commands you? A. The Successor of St. Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus or the Soldiers of Jesus Christ. Q. Who received you? A. Venerable man in white hair. Q. How? A. With a naked dagger, I kneeling upon the cross beneath the banners of the Pope and of our sacred order. Q. Did you take an oath? A. I did, to destroy heretics and their governments and rulers, and to spare neither age, sex nor condition. To be as a corpse without any opinion or will of my own, but to implicitly obey my Superiors in all things without hesitation of murmuring. Q. Will you do that? A. I will. Q. How do you travel? A. In the bark of Peter the fisherman. Q. Whither do you travel? A. To the four quarters of the globe. Q. For what purpose? 26

A. To obey the orders of my general and Superiors and execute the will of the Pope and faithfully fulfill the conditions of my oaths. Q. Go ye, then, into all the world and take possession of all lands in the name of the Pope. He who will not accept him as the Vicar of Jesus and his Vice-regent on earth, let him be accursed and exterminated." (This Oath is taken from the book Subterranean Rome by Charles Didier, translated from the French and published in New York in Dr. Alberto Rivera escaped from the Jesuit Order in 1967, and he describes his Jesuit Oath in exactly the same way as it appears in this book. Semper eadem: always the same.) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** * * * * * * * Enclosure 2(A) Some Quotations from the Holy Quran (Oxford University Press, The World's Classics, Translation by A.J. Arberry) 1. THE HOUSE OF IMRAN, 114: "O believers, take not for your intimates outside yourselves; such men spare nothing to ruin you; they yearn for you to suffer. Hatred has already shown itself on their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is yet greater. Now we have made clear to you the signs, if you understand". (p. 60) 2. THE HOUSE OF IMRAN, 144: "We will cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. their lodging shall be the fire". (p. 63) 3. WOMEN, 59: "Surely those who disbelieve in Our signs - we shall certainly roast them at a fire; as often as their skins are wholly burned, we shall give them in exchange other skins, that they may taste the chastisement. Surely, God is All-Mighty, All-Wise." (p. 80) 27
