2 Worst act of defilement of the Qur aan Majeed THEN WE SAID TO THEM: BECOME DISGRACEFUL APES! (Surah Baqarah, Aayat 65) Say: (Muhammad!) Should I inform you of some evil worse than this by Allah as punishment? (The worst, most debased one is he) on whom is the la nat (curse) of Allah, and on him is the ghadhab (wrath) of Allah, and Allah has transformed from among them (making them) apes and swines, while they worship Taghoot (Shaitaan). Indeed, they are in the worst position and most deviated from the Righteous Path. The Muslim community in South Africa has witnessed the most alarming and most shocking act of Qur aanic defilement in its history in this country. The sacrilege and defilement of Allah s Kalaam, the Qur aan Majeed, is in fact the worst in the annals of Islam s history, worst than the defilement perpetrated not so long ago by the Israeli army and by the Torturers at Guantanamo Bay. The defilement is the worst in view of it being the perpetration of Muslims, not of non-muslims. Defilement of the Qur aan Majeed by the enemies of Islam is entirely expected and understandable. But when such defilement is wrought by the hands of Muslims themselves, we cannot find words and attitudes strong enough to state our condemnation and to adequately portray the notoriety and villainy of the munaafiqeen and murtaddeen whose hearts Allah Ta ala has disfigured and transformed into apes and swines

3 THE CROWN OF DESECRATION In a full page advertisement in the Sunday Times of September , the shaitaani radio station hypocritically dubbed, Channel Islam, had caused to be inserted the full inscription of Aayat 88, Surah Al-Israa of the Qur aan-e- Kareem. The full Arabic text of the gracious aayat is advertised in a non-muslim paper which countless non-muslim members of the poorer segment of society use as toilet paper, wrapping paper, cleaning paper, etc. Every Muslim is aware that not even Muslims are allowed to touch an Aayat of the Qur aan Majeed without being in the state of Wudhu. Every Muslim is aware that not even Muslims are allowed to recite from memory even a single verse of the Qur aan Majeed when in the state of janaabat. Every Muslim is aware that the utmost reverence, respect and honour have to be incumbently showed to the Qur aan Majeed. Every Muslim is aware that it is haraam to put even a book on top of the Qur aan Majeed. But here, we have so-called Muslims who have subjected the Qur aan-e-kareem to the worst type of desecration. These newspapers are trampled on, used as toilet paper, wrapping paper, and for a variety of undignified and dirty purposes. Let Muslims reflect.ponder and picture the gracious Aayat of Allah s Kalaam being utilized in the toilet for the most ignoble purpose of cleansing the body of someone from his/her excreta. Will Allah s la nat and ghadab not descend and settle over the accursed shayaateen who are responsible for this heinous act of sacrilege? Will these accursed beings not be overtaken by some hideous physical disease which will make them rue the day their mothers gave birth to them? Already their hearts and brains have been disfigured and transformed into apes and swines in the words of - 3 -

4 the very Qur aan Majeed which they are so appallingly guilty of defiling and desecrating. DIVINE PUNISHMENT The shayaateen and munaafiqs lurking in the Muslim community and who are responsible for this vile act of desecration will most certainly be overtaken by some great calamity right in their lifetime. A group of travellers, inspite of being forewarned, insisted to use the water of Zam Zam for istinja (cleansing in the toilet). Allah s la nat and ghadhab settled on the whole group. Each one was afflicted with the miserable disease of bleeding piles. This was their worldly punishment for having intentionally desecrated the holy water of Zam Zam. Imagine what punishment will overtake the munaafiqeen who have offered Allah s Holy Qur aanic Aayat as toilet paper!!! They will not escape the CURSE which will settle on them. MONEY-MAD In their insane craving for monetary gain, their rational faculty was completely overshadowed by the insanity of greed, hence they failed to understand what exactly they were perpetrating by inserting an Aayat of the Qur aan-e-kareem in a newspaper which is material for toilets and used as toilet paper by innumerable people. It is the madness caused by the touch of shaitaan which has disfigured their thinking process. It should be understood that a prelude to physical disfiguration and transformation into apes and pigs in the physical form as declared by Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), is the spiritual disfiguration of the rational faculties. First the accursed persons become pigs and apes spiritually. They then think and behave just like apes and swines. The physical transformation of human beings into apes and pigs is the - 4 -

5 ultimate worldly or physical punishment in this earthly life. Such punishment had overtaken the Yahood and Nasaara. It will still take its toll in the Muslim community. The first in line for disfiguration and transformation into apes and pigs are those munaafiqeen and murtaddeen who are bereft of the slightest pang of conscience when an Aayat of the Qur aan Majeed is used as toilet paper. DESECRATION BY NON-MUSLIMS Recently when the Qur aan Majeed was defiled by the Israelis and the Torturers at Guantanamo Bay, there was a hue and cry among Muslims. Why is there not a greater hue and cry when professed Muslims commit worse acts of sacrilege on the Qur aan Majeed then what the non-muslims perpetrate? If there is no hue and cry evinced on account of this heinous act of desecration committed by munaafiqeen parading as Muslims, it will be clear evidence for the lack of reverence and love for the Qur aan Majeed. It will be evidence for the fact that the outcry when non-muslims desecrate the Qur aan Majeed, is not motivated by any love and respect for the Sacred Word of Allah, but is the effect of the attitude of political aversion for the U.S.A. and Israel. Muslims had protested when the Israelis had desecrated a copy of the Qur aan Majeed. If they fail to protest with greater vehemence and determination now that so-called Muslims have offered the Qur aan Majeed as toilet paper, it will only display their treachery, and dishonest protestations directed against non-muslims who defile the Qur aan Majeed. We are certain that every Muslim who had the misfortune of seeing the glorious Aayat of the Qur aan Majeed advertised on potential toilet paper, must have looked on aghast. If the view did not send a shiver down your spiritual spine if the shock of - 5 -

6 your eyes suffering the torture by the defilement had not brutally jarred your Imaan, then understand that your Imaan is dead like a dead rat. BEGGING FOR SUPPORT The advert has been inserted to beg for Muslim support to increase the inflow of cash into the coffers of shaitaan. For realising this despicable aim, the Qur aan Majeed has been subjected to brutal desecration. Every Muslim who listens to the appendage of shaitaan should examine his/her heart in an endeavour to fathom whether he/she has true Imaan. Is it possible for a Mu min to support a satanic venture which so flagrantly defiles Allah s Kalaam? It is Waajib for every Muslim to dissociate from listening to the voice of shaitaan which is the institution responsible for this grave act of Qur aanic defilement and sacrilege. The very least which every Lover of the Qur aan can do in defence of the honour of the sacred Book so disgracefully defiled, is to sever whatever listening ties he/she has with the radio station which has so dastardly and revoltingly blasphemed against Allah Ta ala by desecrating His Glorious Qur aan, offering it to be used as toilet paper, gutter paper, drain paper, waste pare, paper for all types of filthy purposes. May Allah s Ghadhab settle on the vile perpetrators of this unparalleled act of defilement and sacrilege. It is unparalleled because no Muslim in Islam s history is guilty of the dastardly act of desecration which the shaitaani radio appendage has perpetrated. AMR BIL MA ROOF NAHY ANIL MUNKAR What is the duty and obligation now of the Ulama? Some ulama are associated with the satanic radio. This association will undoubtedly constrain them to present corrupt - 6 -

7 interpretations to succour their radio masters who allow them the facility to project their image over the air. They should examine the demand of their Imaan and their conscience. Is it possible for men whose primary obligation is the defence of the honour of Islam to sweep under the carpet this massive insult and desecration which the shaitaani radio has perpetrated with its defilement of the gracious Aayat of the Qur aan-e-kareem? Do the ulama have to make themselves heard when non- Muslims desecrate the Qur aan Majeed and retreat into an impregnable fortress of silence to sustain their cohabitation with their cohorts and consorts of radio shaitaan for fear of eliciting their chagrin which will deny these ulama the opportunity of projecting themselves over the airwaves? Let all those ulama who conceal the Haqq, interpret away the haqq and refrain from truthfully and diligently discharging the Amaanat of their Office of Amr Bil Ma roof Nahy Anil Munkar cogitate on the Hadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam): He who searches for the Pleasure of Allah in exchange for the anger of the people, Allah suffices for him (in the matter of) the difficulties of the people (the insults and trials they create for him). And, he who searches for the pleasure of the people in exchange for the Wrath of Allah, Allah casts him to the people. Such persons, especially if they are ulama, will be destroyed, ruined and humiliated in this world, and in the Aakhirah awaits for them a painful, dreadful and disgraceful Athaab. Hadhrat Junaid Baghdaadi (rahmatullah alayh) said: He who searches for honour with baatil, Allah will overwhelm him with disgrace by means of the Haqq. It is the Waajib duty of the Ulama to vehemently voice their condemnation and display their Bughdh lillaah so that the - 7 -

8 maniacal culprits and miscreants guilty of this terrible act of Qur aanic defilement labour under no misconception as regards the feelings of Muslims and the Law of Allah Azza Wa Jal. THE ATTITUDE OF THE YAHOODI AND NASAARA ULAMA About these ulama who had exchanged and sold the Deen of Allah for cheap and miserably worldly and nafsaani prices, the Qur aan Majeed states: You will see many among them making haste in the commission of sin and transgression, and (in) their devouring of haraam. Indeed vile are their misdeeds. Why do their Mashaaikh and their Ulama not prohibit them (the people) from their sinful statements (and deeds) and from their consumption of Haraam? Indeed, vile are their perpetrations. (Surah Maaidah, Aayats, 62 and 63) Commenting on these verses, Hadhrat Mufti Muhammad Shafi (rahmatullah alayh) states in Ma-aariful Qur aan: From these verses it is manifest that the actual responsibility of Amr Bil Ma roof Nahy Anil Munkar devolves on these two groups, the Mashaaikh and the Ulama, According to some Mufassireen, the Rabbaaniyyoon here refers to the Ulama appointed by the state, and Ahbaar refers to all the Ulama in general. In terms of this (second) interpretation too, the obligation of preventing from sins devolves on the state s Ulama as well as on the Ulama in general These Ulama had the exceptionally evil practice of abandoning their obligation of Amr Bil Ma roof Nahy Anil Munkar. Inspite of observing the community s plunge into destruction, they (the Ulama) would not prevent them.these Ulama were well aware that if they executed the duty of Amr Bil Ma roof Nahy Anil Munkar, the people would abstain (from their evil). However, despite this, there did not stir in the hearts of these

9 Ulama the desire for aiding the Haqq because of their greed for the (monetary and material) gifts of the people, or for the fear of the annoyance of the people. This attitude of the Ulama is worse than the evil deeds of the people. In view of this, Hadhrat Abdullah Bin Abbaas (radhiyallahu anhu) said that in the entire Qur aan there is no sterner warning for the Ulama and Mashaaikh than these verses (of Surah Maaidah). The Imaam of Tafseer, Hadhrat Dhuhhaak (rahmatullah alayh) said: There is no more fearsome verse for the Mashaaikh and Ulama than this verse. The rationale for this is that in the light of this aayat the crime of the Ulama and Mashaaikh (i.e. there abandonment of Amr Bil Ma roof) is worse than the crimes of all thieves, highway robbers and the crimes of every kind of immoral person. May Allah save us. For achieving the reformation of the community, the Qur aan and Hadith place special emphasis on the Obligation of Amr Bil Ma roof Nahy Anil Munkar, The Qur aan has enumerated this duty among the special features of the Ummah of Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), and has pronounced abandonment of this obligation an exceptionally grave sin deserving the severest punishment. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that if no one in community prohibits the evil which the people are committing, then soon will Allah s punishment overtake the entire community. Allah Ta ala revealed to His Nabi, Hadhrat Yusha Ibn Noon (alayhis salaam) that He would be destroying a hundred thousand of his followers. Among them were forty thousand pious people and sixty thousand transgressors. Hadhrat Yusha (alayhis salaam) implored: O Rabbul Alameen! The reason for the destruction of the 60,000 is obvious. Why will the 40,000 pious ones also be destroyed? Came the Divine Response: These pious people maintained friendly relationships with the evil ones. They associate with them; they eat - 9 -

10 together; they mingle and collectively enjoy themselves. The colour of their faces does not change when they see people disobeying Me and indulging in sins. The divinely ordained function which the Office of the Ulama envisages is primarily Amr Bil Ma roof Nahy Anil Munkar. When the Ulama abandon this function and diversify into a variety of menial acts and occupations, totally unbecoming of their office and lofty rank, which are highly detrimental to Islam, they have no right to survive on earth. They then become cauldrons of fitnah and dhalaal. They then come within the purview of the Hadith in which Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) professed his profound fear for the safety of the Ummah: I fear for my Ummah the Aimmah Mudhilleen. They become the leaders of misguidance and deviation. It is imperative for the Ulama to come to their senses and set their house and acts in order. They have to address the colossal abuse of the Qur aan Majeed by the radio menace. This disease of desecration of Allah s Kalaam will deteriorate and lead to worse acts of defilement. The silence of the Ulama in the face of this shaitaani defilement is opening a wide avenue for great fitnah and fasaad in the Muslim community, which will culminate in our obliteration by the Athaab of Allah Azzaa Wa Jal. EVERY MU MIN S DUTY Besides the Ulama, it devolves on every Muslim to raise his/her voice of protest and indignation to make known to the perpetrators of this haraam act of desecration of the Qur aan Majeed that its act of Qur aanic defilement does not find favour among Muslims. Their satanic advertisement will, Insha Allah,

11 not fill their coffers with the money on which their eyes of lust and greed are focussed. It is the compulsory duty of Muslims to dissociate from the munaafiqeen and murtaddeen who have stooped to this terribly base level of offering the Qur aan Majeed as toilet paper and waste paper for all and sundry. May Allah s Athaab and La nat overwhelm all those who are hellbent on defiling the Sacred Scripture of Allah Ta ala. What is the Qur aan? For the benefit of the vile defilers, we present the gracious aayat: Undoubtedly, it is a gracious Qur aan. It is recorded in a Hidden Book. Only the purified ones touch it. It is the revelation from the Rabb of all the worlds. (Surah Waaqiah) It is not an object for desecration. It is not for the filth the shaitaani radio has selected for it. ISLAM WILL BE FORLORN Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: Islam began in a forlorn state. Soon it will return to that state in which it began. Therefore give glad tidings to the forlorn ones

12 COMMANDING RIGHTEOUSNESS And, when a group from among them (i.e. the Muslims of Bani Israaeel), said: Why do you admonish such people whom Allah will destroy or mete out to them a severe punishment?, they (the admonishers) said: So that we have a valid excuse by your Rabb and perhaps they (the transgressors) may fear (and refrain from their evil).
