Jesus is the Messiah (Jn 8:24) d. Jesus is God (Jn 8:28) 2. Believing and doing truth is wise (24-27) a. Believing and doing truth leads us to Jesus (Jn 8:31) b. 4 Session 4: A Kingdom of Power Scripture: Mt 12:22-32; Mk 3:22-30; Lk 11: The Kingdom of power is united (25) a. Unity in the Kingdom is a threat to Satan (25-26) b. Unity in the Kingdom conquers the evil one (27) 2. The Kingdom of Power is by the Holy Spirit (28) a. By the Holy Spirit Jesus overcomes the strongman (29) b. 5 Session 5: Fulfilling the Law Scripture: Mt 5: Jesus came to fulfill the law and prophets (17) a. The law is still in effect (18; Rom 2:15, 3:20) b. The law should not be diminished (19) c. 6 Session #6: Jesus Prophecies Scripture: Luke 18: Jesus Prophesied that He would accomplish the prophets (31) a. Jesus was forsaken by the Father (Psa 22:1) b. Jesus was rejected by His half-brothers and mother (Psa 69:8) c. Jesus was rejected by the people (Isa 53:1-3) d. Jesus suffering (Isa 53:4-7) e. Jesus judgment and oppression (Isa 53:8) f. Jesus death (Isa 53:9) g. Jesus bearing our sins (Isa 53:10-12) h. Jesus being struck down (Zech 13:7) 2. Jesus prophesied that He would be handed over to the Gentiles (32) a.
