Students successfully completing the course will be able To give an account of the development of the theology from the end of the Patristic Age to the Reformation, identifying the significant positions of the major authors and the intellectual, political and social issues that gave rise to those positions To give a detailed account of some work of at least three major authors from the period To show an understanding of the continuity within theology through the period and of novelties of substance and of emphasis PREREQUISITES: None BIBLIOGRAPHY: Text book Fairweather, Eugene (ed.).
