6 Our current sermon series, MOVEMENT, is an exploration of 2 Corinthians. The focus of the series is on the church. The church is not a building. The church is not even a conglomeration of people. The church is a movement, a group of people called out (ekklesia) to meet and glorify God, and to represent His Kingdom to a broken world. The church doesn t sit still; it moves and grows. 7 WHAT S HAPPENING AT FIRST PRES Annual Congregational Meeting Sunday Evening, January 29 Sanctuary The Annual Meeting of the congregation of the First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is called for Sunday, January 29, 2017, at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary. We will celebrate with a worship service in the Sanctuary as we look ahead to what God is calling First Pres to in our next chapter.
