2 CALL TO CONFESSION COMMUNITY PRAYER OF CONFESSION Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Maker of all things, Judge of all people: We acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness, which we, from time to time, most grievously have committed, by thought, word and deed, against Your Divine Majesty, provoking most justly Your wrath and indignation against us. We earnestly repent, and are heartily sorry for these our misdoings; the remembrance of them is grievous to us; the burden of them is intolerable. 9 Mission Engagement first-pres. org/missions Next week is ESM Donation Sunday. The biggest needs for May are dry pasta, pasta sauce, bottled water, baby diapers (sizes 1, 3, & 5), and peanut butter. For the month of April you can donate new or gently used children s books. All books will go to schools, doctor s offices and libraries through Pikes Peak United Way and EPIC. Drop off boxes will be on the 2nd floor, 3rd floor and in the library. Caring Ministries first-pres.org/care Everyone goes through difficult times. If you re experiencing a season of confusion, stress or loneliness, Caring Ministries can connect you with a trained Stephen Minister who will walk with you listening, caring and sharing God s love with you. WEEKLY PRAYER FOCUS Mission Emphasis: Gary and Merri Lee Hipp with Discipling for Development just returned from the Philippines and Thailand where they participated in a variety of discipleship methods. In North Thailand they trained church leaders how to teach the Bible to their people through oral means like Bible (story) Telling. Pray for fruit to remain.
