2 Dress & Behavior Code u Dress Code: All students are required to be modestly dressed. Code of Conduct Girls must wear a skirt/dress or dress pants with a matching blouse. Boys must wear cotton twill pants with a shirt and tie. u Behavior: All students are required to be well behaved, exhibiting manners of a polite society. Most students (80%) continue to university.

Forester Literature Boys years old Fall 2011 Course Description: Young men are introduced to Horatio Hornblower, a young British midshipman in the beginning of his naval career. Through this novel, young men observe a man in the making. Hornblower s hard work, quick thinking, and tough decisions mold him into a young officer in the British navy. 7 Classical Literature for Young Scholars: Pride and Prejudice By Jane Austen Literature Girls years old Spring 2012 Course Description: Young ladies will walk into the Regency time period in England and discover how the lives of men and women differ from today. They will learn the social customs of the day and their protection of young ladies. Vicariously, they will live through life-changing mistakes of characters and discuss their implications. Girls will see how young women become ladies. 8 Ecclesiastical Latin for Young Scholars Age 8 Academic Year Latin Course Description: The ideal foundation for elementary students to start their Latin studies. The common Latin vocabulary words and beginning grammar supplements English language learning. Students learn practical sayings and famous mottos as well as memorizing prayers, such as the Table Blessing and the Lord s Prayer. 9 Shakespeare for Young Scholars: The Tragedy of MacBeth By William Shakespeare Shakespeare Ages Winter 2012 Course Description: Students study the life and times of William Shakespeare, with special attention given to the crafting of Shakespeare s verse and the language of his day. After understanding Shakespeare s background and the play s origins, students read the play in parts, discussing Shakespeare s use of biblical and classical allusions, including other literary elements.
