2 WELCOME I am so excited that we are about to enter an entire Year of Prayer as a Movement. Your role and participation is critical to both the practical success of #Pray365 as well as the spiritual ramifications and magnitude of committing to pray for Young People within your communities across the nation. We are asking every National and Centre worker as well as volunteers and trustees to stand together in prayer, fasting and intercession throughout I trust that you will take the time to read this pack and commit to signing up as we seek His face through the YFC movement. 3 Will you add your voice to YFC s unbroken prayer cry of 2017? As part of Youth for Christ, starting from a place of reliance upon our Creator, it is imperative that we constantly challenge ourselves to deepen our relationship with Jesus through prayer and fasting. So in 2017, we are pursuing Jesus through an intentional Year of Prayer #Pray365. This is a declaration that we are resolutely committed to following Him and surrendering the YFC movement to Him no matter what the cost. When we do this, when we take a risk surely evangelism has a steadfast foundation and God will do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine through our YFC Centres and Projects. 4 IMAGINE IF Imagine if we were to move out in faith and challenge ourselves to deepen our prayer lives in a way that is uncomfortable, demanding daily sacrifice - what might look differently about our individual pursuit of Jesus? Imagine if we were to take God at His word, pray and step out of the box with absolute risk and in total faith for the healing of young broken lives in our nation - what might look differently about our YFC Centres pursuit of Jesus? Imagine if we were to take seriously the call to humble ourselves and on our knees, cry out for God to break through in this generation - how might this YFC movement look differently in our pursuit of Jesus?

5 THE VISION FOR #PRAY365 IS SIMPLY THIS We Start with Jesus, We Stand with Jesus and We Stay with Jesus Each day we start in surrender to Jesus. We stand firm in Him and walk this journey with Jesus. We choose, in faith, to be confident that He stays with us and we choose to stay committed to Him. The Bible says If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chron 7:14. The Israelites had forgotten their covenant before God, left behind their history exposing God s complete faithful protection and guidance, and what it meant to fulfil God s purposes through belonging to God. It is a reminder that today, in a country so filled with possibilities and with virtually unlimited accessibility and reliance upon information in the google era, it is so easy to forget God s faithfulness and rest in His favour. If we are called to seek God and to pray then as a movement, we need to take this seriously and be deliberately active in doing this. We are impassioned to see God move by his spirit and heal our land a land filled with 13 million young people.

6 WHY? Because together we are mighty in battle; we build up, we grow strong in Him and we are filled with boldness in taking ground for Jesus Because as we spend time with Jesus, we can t help but fall more in love with Him and impact the young people we are fighting for in prayer Because we are family we start with Jesus, we stand with Jesus and we stay with Jesus

7 WHAT DOES THIS LOOK LIKE FOR MY CENTRE OR PROJECT? We are committing to 365 days of prayer where we as a family intentionally pray throughout the year for one-another and intercede before God for Young People in this nation. We are asking that each YFC Centre or Project commits to 7 days of prayer throughout hours of seeking Jesus through prayer and fasting outworked in a way that is unique for each Centre and Project. We will have monthly themes, shared Centre resources and sign posts within your #Pray365 Prayer Packs and online to keep us focused throughout the whole year! What this looks like for an individual, for a Centre, for a family or for a church will differ, and how you apportion your 7 days/168hrs is up to you, but through the word and through prayer and fasting, the undivided pursuit of the presence of Jesus Christ is critical as we move forward together.

8 The YFC prayer resources aim to save you planning time when engaging in 168hrs/7 days of Prayer throughout 2017 We want to give the opportunity for Centres and Projects to share creative prayer ideas with each other and stories of what God is doing in your areas. All of the resources will be found on the #Pray365 prayer website from January 2017 and will be added to each month throughout We even have templates on how to hold your own prayer days and set up creative prayer spaces! Weekly devotions As part of your regular team meetings we would love for you to join with us in praying around a specific theme each month. The devotions provide bite-size teaching for you to pray into should you wish. #Pray365 Calendar The prayer calendar will keep you updated with monthly themes for young people throughout the year. There will also be prayer points and creative ideas to encourage you as you go deeper in your prayer walk and intercession Creative Prayer Our creative prayer resources will bring together a wide range of prayer activities for you to use. They will also provide opportunities for you to share your ideas with other Centres as a family! Questions about prayer There are a lot of questions and barriers surrounding prayer. We wanted to tackle these head on, so on the #Pray365 website we will be holding some lively discussions - watch this space! Testimony Wall Our testimony wall is one way in which we will share together what God has done as we connect with Him during #Pray365 and celebrate His faithfulness! Please be reminded to pencil into your diary the YFC National Prayer Day on the 14th June more details to follow!

Each day build up the picture as you pray until it is complete Time for a cuppa Make yourself a cuppa and then in the time it takes to drink it, come to God with no other agenda than to listen Shhhh! Have a silent retreat ½ day! Absolutely no talking to anyone else but God!
