1 Sunday, May 1st Christian Persecution Heavenly Father, with sadden hearts we pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in faith. Lord, we pray for their strength and endurance. Matthew 5:11, reminds us that the persecuted are blessed even through the insults and injustices. We pray that their hearts receive Matthew 5:11 as promise from heaven. In Jesus name, Amen. Monday, May 2 nd Marital Hurdles Heavenly Father, help us to live out our marriage vows in all seasons. Lord, strike down every hurdle that stands in our way and divides us. Challenges us to keep our hearts fixed on Christ. Lord, we know that when we love you deeply we are able to love our spouses better. In Jesus name, Amen. 1 Peter 4:8 Tuesday, May 3 rd Mahima, Indian Heavenly Father, we pray thanking You for the provision and protection provided to Mahima. 2 Wednesday, May 4 th Homelessness Heavenly Father, we pray humbled by all Your provision in our lives. Lord, we pray not for our needs but for the needs of other. We prayer for the homeless in deep poverty and for those suffering with mental illness and/or addictions. In Jesus name, Amen. 1 Samuel 2:7-8 Thursday, May 5 th Nation Day of Prayer Heavenly Father, on this day we come to you with a humbled heart. Lord, we cry out to You as a nation that is desperate for Your supernatural intervention. Lord, it is evident that our nation is not aligned with Your will. We pray with hearts of repentance and obedience. Pour Your will upon us and our beloved nation. Lord, fill every dimension of our lives with Your glory. Advance of Your kingdom in our personal lives, our family, our churches and our government leaders. In Jesus name, Amen. Isaiah 58:1 Friday, May 6 th MINAP, Peru Heavenly Father, thank you for our ministry partner Mission Integral del Peru (MINAP). Lord, we pray for the salvation of the tribal people on the Amazon Basin. We ask that You equip our national workers as they seek to make contact with wary and often hostile tribes deep in the jungle. Lord, we pray for Your Holy Spirit fall upon the Amazon that they may witnesses Your saving grace. May Your word spread from Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. As we mature in faith we discover that prayer was never meant to be a monologue but a dialogue. You have initiated the conversation with us through scripture, prayer is our response. Teaches us to pray proactively in passionate pursuit of You. In Jesus name, Amen. Luke 11 Sunday, May 8 th Mothers Days Heavenly Father, on this day of celebration we pray in thanksgiving for our mothers. We pray blessings for mothers and those with the desire to be mothers. Lord, we are grateful for the heart You have given our mothers to endure and sacrifice so much out of love. We also pray for comfort for those that have lost their mothers. In Jesus name, Amen. Luke 1:46-49 Monday, May 9 th Marital Safeguarding Lord, help us to safeguard our marriage. Help us to keep our marriage a priority and to stand firm to our commitment. Protect us from anything that tries to hinder our union. Fix our eyes on each other. Grant us the wisdom to see the danger of lust and sin. Lord, Your name is a strong tower teaches us the humility to run to it with our marriage for safety. In Jesus name, Amen. Proverbs 18:10 Tuesday, May 10 th BOL, Moldova Heavenly Father, we pray in thanksgiving for our ministry partner Beginning of Life (BOL) and the work they do. Lord, we ask for Your blessings to empower BOL s community initiatives through their prevention and education programs to reach the youth. Lord, Your word teaches us that today s youth are the leaders of tomorrow from David to Timothy. Helps us to be intentional in encouraging the youth around us. In Jesus name, Amen. 2 Chronicles 34:1-2 Wednesday, May 11 th Social Media Heavenly Father, help use our social media in a God honouring manner. Lord, give us wisdom and inspiration to influence those within our social networking. We pray that Your will shines through our social networks to shape the lives, marriages and families of our network. Lord, take hold of our online accounts and use it to spread the name of Jesus and put the truth before people s eyes. Proverbs 2:6

4 Thursday, May 12 th Deeper Heavenly Father, we pray with gratitude and awe for Your unfailing love. Lord, drawer our hearts and souls deeper into relationship with You. Teach us to set aside the distractions, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Bless us with the wisdom to endure this world in pursuit of You. Show us how to love You better here on earth as it will be in heaven. In Jesus name, Amen. Hebrews 12:2 Friday, May 13 th UPHOLD, India (Philip Timoti) Heavenly Father, we are so grateful for the ministry of UPHOLD and the work that they do for Your glory. Lord, we pray that You continue to guide and strengthen their national workers and leaders. God of mercy, thank You for allowing us the honour of serving the marginalized communities of leprosy and HIV/AIDS. In Jesus name, Amen. Matthew 25:31-40 Saturday, May 14 th Prayer Heavenly Father, we pray in awe of Your love for us. Romans 8:26 informs us that through Your Holy Spirit You circle us in prayer. You already know the last punctuation mark before we pronounce the first syllable to our prayers. Teach us to pray with intensity and persistency. Lord, lift our hearts closer to You with each prayer. In Jesus name, Amen. Sunday, May 15 th Pentecost Heavenly Father, today we pray in thanksgiving for the establishments of Your church. Lord, we are such a corrupt generation and we need You desperately to revive our churches. We cry out for a spiritual awakening in our families, churches, communities and nation. Lord, we pray boldly believing in Your saving grace. In Jesus name, Amen. Acts 2 Monday, May16 th Marriage Be Gentle & Kind Heavenly Father, help us to choose grace when we are irritable or overwhelmed. Lord, grant us the patience to be gentle and kind with our spouse. 5 May 17th Exercising Faith Heaven Father, our faith is possibly the hardest thing we ll ever have to exercise. It calls us to sacrifice, to humility, to patience and to give grace. Faith tells us to step aside so that You can work through us. Faith pushes us out of our comfort and into Your graces. Faith tells us to find assurance for the hope we cannot see. Lord, teach us to stretch and exercise our faith muscles and to live by faith like the ancients. In Jesus name, Amen. Hebrews 11 Wednesday, May 18 th World Aids Day Lord, today we pray for the HIV orphans throughout the world. We pray for their hearts to know the hope of Christ. Lord, we ask for Your favour upon their lives and for their needs to be met with the hope of Christ. In Jesus name, Amen. James 1:27 Thursday, May 19 th Disabled Heavenly Father, our hearts are prayerful of those with disabilities in developing the world. We are mindful of the challenges that poverty brings to those with disabilities. Lord, You have created us all beautifully in our mother s womb. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made regardless of our abilities and disabilities because of Your Love. In Jesus name, Amen. Psalm 139:13-14 Friday, May 20 th Family & Marriage Heavenly Father, today we focus our prayer on the spiritual health of families and marriages. Lord, Satan has casted out an all- out warfare on marriages. Satan knows that if he can destroy Your design for marriages our families will fall and the very fabric of our society will tumble. Lord, open our hearts to pray relentlessly for the marriages and families closest to us. Give us the courage and the discernment to pursue You and Your design for marriages. In Jesus name, Amen. Mark 10:7-9 Saturday, May 21 st Widow Heavenly Father, teach our hearts to do what is right, seek justice and defend the oppressed. 6 Sunday, May 22 nd Colleges & Universities Heavenly Father, we praying asking for our young college students to establish a solid foundation in Christ and to turn away from following empty philosophies. Lord, we pray for an awakening across our college campuses. We pray for our young college students fall in love with Jesus with all of their hearts, souls, minds and strength. In Jesus name, Amen. Mark 12:30 Monday, May 23 rd Victoria Day Heavenly Father, we pray with a full heart towards Your Kingdom. Isaiah 9:6 tells us that the government will be on Christ s shoulders. He will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. In Jesus name, Amen. Tuesday, May 24th FEAL, Lebanon Heavenly Father, we thank You for the Free Evangelical Association of Lebanon (FEAL) and all that they do for Your glory. Lord, we ask for continued favour and protection of FEAL s Beit El Safa Girl s Home. God of mercy, thank You for providing this transformational care home for these orphans and at- risk girls. Lord, we pray for these young ladies trusting in Your sovereignty. Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen and equip their ministry to do every good work. 7 Friday, May 27 th BBCF, Bangladesh (Leor) Heavenly Father, we are grateful for the Bangladesh Baptist Fellowship and all they do for Your glory. Lord, we pray for BBCF s national worker as they strive to share the good news in hostile and dangerous conditions. Grant our national workers favour in the filed and spiritual victory wherever they place their feet. We pray this in Jesus name. Romans 12:3-8 Saturday, May 28 th National Workers Heavenly Father, Your word reminds us that the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Lord, we pray asking for more workers to be called and equip into Your harvest field. We pray believing in Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus name, Amen. Matthew 9:37-38 Sunday, May 29 th Salvation Heavenly Father, press upon our hearts to pray for the salvation of our loved one. In Acts 4:12, Peter tell us that there is no salvation in any other, nor is there any other name under heaven given by which we can be saved. In Jesus name, Amen. Monday, May 30 th Humanitarian Ministry Heavenly Father, we pray for all Christian humanitarian ministries as they strive to provide aid to people in poverty, oppression and unexpected tragedies. We pray for all humanitarian ministries to stand firm in sharing the Gospel. In Jesus name, Amen. Joshua 1 Tuesday, May 31 st EMAF, Brazil Heavenly Father, we pray in thanksgiving for the Evangelical Mission for Assistance to Fishermen (EMAF) and all that they do for Your glory. Lord, we pray asking for protection and insight on how we can love through actions and pray for the victims.
