Year of Choices But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Deuteronomy 30:14-15 Romans 10:8-9

A Letter From Sister Catherine A Letter From Pastor David <> President To the Graduating Class of 2010 Congratulations! True fulfillment in God is to seek Him and His kingdom above all else in your life. You came to Mount Zion International School of Ministry to seek and to know God and who you are in Christ. I believe you have received what you searched for. It does not end at Mount Zion. It is just the beginning of your journey in pursuit of a deeper knowledge of God and His Word. In Matthew 5:6 Jesus said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. In Psalm 42:2 David said, As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so my soul panteth after Thee, O God. The foundational requirement for all godly living is to hunger and thirst after righteousness. Moses, David and Paul had such a hunger and God fulfilled that hunger in their lives. Your spiritual condition all throughout your life will depend on your hunger and thirst for the presence of God, the Word of God, and your relationship with Christ and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. In Matthew 6:33 Jesus said, But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. God promised He would supply all of your (our) needs if He is put first place in your life. Like Moses, David and Paul, He will fulfill your hunger and thirst after the things of God. Be encouraged, God by His grace will lead you step by step into the knowledge of Himself and His Word. Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the Lord of Hosts (Zechariah 4:6). Psalm 37 Trust, delight, commit and rest in the Lord. This is your part. Thank you for your love, prayers and kindness. Forever love and prayers, Sister Catherine Psalm 63:1 Psalm 9:10 A WORD TO GRADUATES Mount Zion International School of Ministry THIS IS A TIME FOR COURAGE! Chairman of the Board After the death of Moses, God spoke to Joshua to take over his cause and go forth strong and with good courage. God said, As I was with Moses, so I will be with you: I will not fail you nor forsake you. Be strong and of a good courage! (Joshua 1:5-6) God says it the second time, only stronger: Only be strong and very courageous turn not from my commandments to the right or to the left, that you may prosper whithersoever you go (Joshua 1:7). Then God makes it a commandment, Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you whithersoever you go (Joshua 1:9). We too are commanded to go forth with strength and good courage. We are commanded to be fearless and not be discouraged, knowing God is with us. What you have learned on campus must now be put to the test in your daily walk. Hopefully you have learned how to know the voice of the Lord through intimacy. You have been taught the glorious, life-freeing power of the New Covenant. You have had your faith built up as you experienced answers to prayer. You have sat under godly teachers and pastors and missionaries who have each added something of life and holiness to your spirit. It has truly been a time of growing and maturing in Christ. You face perilous times as prophesied by Jesus. Gross darkness will cover the earth. But it will also be a time of reaping for God s church. The outpouring of the Spirit will flow as a mighty, onrushing force. You are part of a chosen army of anointed soldiers of the Cross. Satan will try to discourage you and rob you of all you have learned. Face it all with the strength of the Lord and with good courage. God still has everything under control! With love and hope, DAVID WILKERSON

Notes fromstaff Dear Students: But ye, beloved, build up yourselves on your most Holy Faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Keep yourselves in the love of God looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (Jude 20-21). I thank God, for the work He has done in the student body here at Mount Zion. I can see and hear Jesus in your lives when you walk and talk about the Lord. I hope and pray that as you move on you always keep that walk of intimacy and a high standard of righteousness and true holiness. Love and prayers. In His Service, Brother Al Gallo Proverbs 3:5-6 Dear Students: This has been an incredible year of learning and experiencing the wonderworking power of grace in our lives. We have learned through the Scriptures, and in our personal trials and battles, that in our own strength and efforts there is no power to change our hearts and make the covenant promises of God a reality in our lives. As we have come from striving in our own strength to simply putting our faith and dependence in the Lord we have seen Him, by His wonderful grace, level mountains of impossibilities in our lives. When we get to heaven, truly our cry will be Grace! Grace! By the grace of God, God began the work, and it was grace that finished it (Zechariah 4:6-7). Pastor Tim, Sister Jessa, Dimere, and Rebekah Williams Dear Students: Go all the way with God! Therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed (Isaiah 50:7b). There are innumerable treasures in Him that you can know. There are depths of His heart yet undiscovered. Give Him your all. Yield to Him your heart, your plans, and your desires. The reward will be so much greater than you can imagine. You will not be ashamed. You will be satisfied with truly knowing Him. As for me, I will behold Thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Thy likeness (Psalms 17:15). Love, Sister Leah Howard Dear Students: We are thankful to God for each of you. You are a blessing to us. Continue to trust and seek God wholeheartedly; He is faithful. May God bless and keep you all. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. To Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen (I Peter 5:10-11). With love and prayers, Brother James, Sister Adelina, Amos, James Jacob and Ana Archuleta Dear Students: I am so glad to be a part of your lives. Shew Thy marvellous lovingkindness, O Thou that savest by Thy right hand them which put their trust in Thee from those that rise up against them (Psalm 17:7). I love you all very much! Love, Sister Mona Muth Dear Students: Then shall ye call upon Me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord (Jeremiah 29:12-14a). This is our prayer for you. As you continue to stay close to the Master and seek Him daily, He will be there for you in every situation of your life. Our hearts are filled with appreciation to the Lord for allowing us to be a part of your life. With love, Brother Richard & Sister Ella LaMarre Dear Students: We count it a wonderful privilege to teach at Mount Zion. We are blessed by your zeal for the Lord at this time in history. When so many people are caught up in worldly ways, you have set yourselves apart to seek the Lord with all your heart. Always remember Jude 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life and Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. May the Lord richly bless you. In Him, Brother Joe, Sister Monica, Joseph and Jane Wehrer Dear Students: Luke 6:47-49 While here at Mount Zion the Lord has taught you so much about how to build your spiritual house. He taught you through your devotions, classes, chapels, and the church services, things you observed by His leading. Now it is time to make it and keep it as a lifestyle, a continual habit of life. As you do you are promised success. If you falter or fail, you know where to pick up again and go forward. Let this verse be used to provoke you to keep that which the Lord has given you at Mount Zion. God bless you. With Christ s Love, Brother Roger, Sister Beth and Alexander Hart Dear Students: Thanks to all the students for a wonderful year here at Mount Zion. We really enjoyed getting to know you and watching the deep work God has done in your hearts. Enjoy this journey of faith, coupled with grace and love. 5 Dear Students: It is such an honor to be working at Mount Zion once again. I take pleasure in seeing you grow in your relationship with Christ as He prepares you for the future. God is doing a wonderful work in your life. I encourage you to keep at His feet and trust Him with whatever comes to your life. He has a plan! I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures (Proverbs 8:20 & 21). Lots of Love, Sister Janaé Stetler Dear Students: I am so thankful for each of you! It is so beautiful to see the good work that the Lord is doing in each of your lives. As you continue to walk with Him, may it be His love that constrains you. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). I love you! Sister Bethany Hackman Dear Students: love is strong as death neither can the floods drown it (Song of Solomon 8:6-7). My cry is that you fall in love with Jesus. He is worthy of fervent, passionate love! Love is stronger than our fleshly weaknesses the death in us; and cannot be quenched by the floods we will pass through in life. Simply remember what love is: not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins (I John 4:10). In His Love, Brother Nik Godshall Dear Students: I cannot know how this year has been for you personally, but I do know this: God has been so good to you! There are many things that lie ahead and that have already happened, that you may not fully understand. You may find yourself in an impossible situation; confused, uncertain, but of this you can be certain - God loves you! He is with you. He will lead you. May you know Jesus more in and through everything. Let God be God to You! Brother Zachary Stigliano Dear Students: This has been a foundational year in your lives. He is going deep and forming you into men and women of God. Isaiah 43:1 says the Lord created Jacob, but FORMED Israel. The word formed means to squeeze or mold into shape. It is an honor to see the Potter mold you into vessels fit for the Master s use. Like Paul you are chosen vessels, made to be filled with His glory! Keep yielding to the Potter s hand. He is doing a good work. Love, Sister Ariel Hopkins Dear Students: When our beautiful Savior looks upon you this cry rises from the depths of His heart, Oh that my people would truly understand the depths of my love for them! He looks upon every vessel that is fully surrendered to His purposes with the utmost of joy and pleasure. My prayer is that each of you would know the value He places upon His beloved children. You, His precious children, are those of whom He has deemed the world unworthy! Hebrews 11:38a Sister Holly Chrsitine Zurcher Dear Students: It has been an enormous honor for us to serve here at Mount Zion. Remember to face each day and endeavor trusting that God is ordering your steps and will enable you to do what He has put in your hands to do. We love you and pray God will continue to shower every aspect of your lives with His multi-faceted blessings. Brother Xavier, Sister Jodie, Judah, Israel and Asia Perry Dear Students: Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost (Romans 15:13). It has been a great blessing to see the fruit of what God has been doing through your laid down lives. Keep seeking Jesus, and as you do His life will be poured out through you and touch those around you. In Christ, Brother Joshua Bixler Dear Students: This faith that I have was not my own but in Jesus Christ. This faith comes only from the Son of God, a faith that transcends all imaginable limits. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8). Thank you for all your prayers. I love and miss all of you. Sister Brinde Burns Dear Students: But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him (John 4:23). I thank God that here at Mount Zion the Father has found hearts that long to worship Him. What an honor and joy it is to stand with you, worship with you, behold His face with you, and know that as we behold Him we are being changed into His image. Continue to lift your eyes unto Him, to satisfy the desire of His heart, and to worship Him with everything within you in spirit and in truth. I love you all! Sister Christina Craig

Dear Students: We just want to encourage you to keep up the good fight of faith. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and what He can do in and through your life. Remember, He desires to have a relationship with you. He wants to lead, guide and keep you. He wants to use you for His Glory. Never forget, the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and He delights in his ways. Friends, it is all about Jesus, nothing else. Brother Micah, Sister Leah, Daniel, Charity, and Jonathan Muth Junior Staff Dear Students: I am amazed to see and hear what an awesome work God is doing in your lives. God passionately loves you and is jealous over you. Keep guarding your heart because the enemy is out to steal and destroy what God has done and is doing in and through you. God needs you in this dark and final hour we live in. He has a specific work for you to do and people He wants you to reach. He is coming back soon! (Matthew 24:42-44) Love, Brother Scott Krall Elizabeth Brandes Mount Zion Patty Odom Mount Zion Sarah Galbraith Mount Zion Dear Students, I am so thankful for each one of you who have laid your lives down to know Christ. I am filled with such joy to be a witness to the work of God in you. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith (Galatians 6:9-10). With Love, Brother Don Stark Benjamin Jendrick Mount Zion Tanisha Swinger Ireland/Mount Zion Doris Bracero New York City Outreach/ Mount Zion Dear Students: Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? (I Corinthians 9:24). I encourage you to run this race to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away but we do it for an eternal prize. So run with purpose in every step. Brothers and sisters, this race may be hard at times, but you have Jesus by your side. Set your face like a flint, determined to do His will. For you are the apple of His eye, hidden under the shadow of His wings. Sister Dunia Nemer McAllen Vaval Mount Hope Camp Amber Schwartz Times Square Church Dennis Gilmer New York City Outreach/ Ireland Dear Students, I hope that the fight of faith is not something that you will grow weary in. 7 CHAPELS Chapels at Mount Zion are incredible! The word preached is straight from the heart of God and always comes at the right moment. The presence of God is clearly evident in these times. Chapel services are a time when the things the Lord has been speaking to us on an individual basis are confirmed through the preaching of His word and times of corporate prayer and supplication. We are blessed to hear from great men and women of God from all over the world who walk with Him and know His voice and heart. Our most treasured times are Wednesday chapels with Sister Catherine. All of us gather together, staff and students alike and hear 2 a fresh word from her. In every service, whether in the word spoken, in worship, in prayer or in thanksgiving, one thing is always sure: the presence of the Lord is always encountered richly. We will never take these precious times for granted or allow them to become commonplace experiences. 1) Sister Catherine praying for guest missionaries 2) Andre Bernard ( 11) speaking during a service 3) Igor Panov ( 11) plays guitar during praise and worship. 4) Rachelle Legentus ( 10) leads worship during a chapel service. 5) Ian Knapp ( 11) worships before a service. 6) Students in the middle of prayer during a Friday prayer chapel. 5 6

Every Wednesday chapel is set aside for a person who is very special to all of us, Sister Catherine. She comes to share what is on her heart no matter how busy her schedule is. There is no specific format for these chapel services, but whether our time is spent in worship, prayer, listening to her speak, or doing a Jericho march, we know that it is Spirit led. Sister Catherine, with her many life experiences has a lot of wisdom to offer! At the heart of each of her messages, the core values of the school are reflected: intimacy with God, surrender to His will and obedience to the Holy Spirit. She also challenges us to remain at God s feet no matter what we face and to lay down our lives for Him. Sister Catherine herself is an incredible example of such a life. We are truly blessed to have such a caring and loving mother of Zion, who continually tends to our needs and desires for us to draw closer to the Lord. We are always refreshed and encouraged by her words to us in these chapels.

Pastor Chapel David Pastor David sharing the Word of God. It is a time of great joy for all here on campus when Pastor David brings a word of truth straight from God s heart. It is a word spoken with gentleness and power, which goes straight into our hearts. It is plain to see the years of devotion to God pour out of his heart as he conveys God s message to us. There is always an expectation in these chapels that we are going to hear a life changing word from God. As the head of our ministry he is a man who is truly in touch with the heart of God. It is always a delight to have him here to speak from this pulpit. 1 Timothy 6:11-14 MEEKNESS But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: John 17:23, 26 I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me. And I have declared unto them Thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith Thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. Psalm 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise. 10 New England From the beginning, the school has had a burden for this country and the nations. For over 16 years we have prayed and sent workers around the globe. Now, the Lord has placed it on our hearts to go further. He has rebirthed a vision, which He placed in Sister Catherine s heart many years ago, and is now stirring our hearts to intercede for New England. Prayer for the Region A Meaningful History In 1620 the group known as the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock in Massachusetts. They came for one purpose and with one longing in their hearts to find a place where they could worship Jesus Christ with freedom and without fear. That is the heritage they desired to pass on to future generations. Now, years later, God wants to restore that heritage to His people. The religious freedom we need in this country is freedom from fear, freedom from sin and freedom from every stronghold of the enemy. The Lord is calling His Church to rise up, take her position and claim the freedom He has won for her. Power of Prayer Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. Joshua 1:3 We stand in agreement with God s Word that as we intercede for our nation and this area specifically, strongholds will fall. The land is His, and He has given us the tools needed to go in and possess it. Intercession is the means by which we take ground in the spiritual realm, and it opens the door for God to move in the physical. Please join us as we march in to take the land through prayer! Direction of Prayer God would stir His people to prayer and intimacy The pure Word of God to be preached Strongholds over the youth to be broken The Gospel to be preached and the lost to come to Christ

Mount Zion Church Heart of the Church The vision that the Lord has given for Mount Zion Church of the Holy Spirit is to raise up intimate soldiers for the Lord and a people that passionately love and pursue the Lord. From this, the purposes of God are so alive in our hearts. Mount Zion Church of the Holy Spirit is a people that truly understand that God so earnestly desires an intimate relationship with His people and they are seeking after the Lord, continually entering more and more into the fullness of Christ through faithful reading of the Word and prayer. We are a people that understand in every circumstance of life God wants to reveal His heart and hand in our lives. We are learning to see God s heart and hand in every area and circumstance of our life. As a church truly seeking after the Lord and growing in our intimacy with God, the Lord is, raising up soldiers to fight in His war to advance His kingdom in the earth. As a church, the Lord is revealing more and more to us the importance of praying and interceding for His will to be done in the earth. God s kingdom only advances as His people are faithful to pray. The day any church stops Pastor Tim, Sister Jessa, Dimere, and Rebekah Willams marching in prayer is the day that church stops taking ground in His kingdom. As the Pastor I am pleased to say that we have a strong prayer-base in our church as the people have a faith and desire to meet together for prayer. The ladies who minister visit the women s cell block of the Lebanon County Prison. There they reach out to the female inmates by playing games with them, waiting for a chance to share the Gospel. It is an open door to reach those who might not normally choose to go to a chapel service in the prison. Many conversations have led to prayer and opportunities to share the love of Christ. Hebrews 12:2 President Jason Johnson Ephesians 1:1-6:24 40 Portraits Class of 2010 Dear Class of 2010, In this life we are confronted daily by choices. In 2007 we all had to make the choice concerning where we would spend the subsequent three years of our lives. Contrary to popular opinion, we chose to come to a school which has rules that our modern culture would deem unnecessary or unrealistic. These guidelines, though difficult at times, were God s tender way of developing discipline and character within us. God s heart is that we learn and know Christ above all else. We have learned not to serve rules but to serve our precious Lord Jesus, who in turn enables us to abide by His precepts. We are called by God to follow Him despite this world s pleasures (Hebrews 11:24-27). As we continue to exercise faith in Christ Jesus, God will do more in and through our lives than we could possibly begin to imagine. This is for God s glory! Sometimes it is scary not knowing what will ensue, but our loving Father who has brought us this far will likewise carry us the whole journey long. Countless testimonies of God s faithfulness will be yours! I will miss you all dearly. In Christ s Love, Jason C. As we spend time with Him, in His presence, we are changed into His image by the Spirit of the Lord. May God give us the grace to pursue Him with all our hearts and minds and to continue to grow in the grace of God. In Christ, Bryan Montano Vice-President Bryan Montano I Corinthians 15:10

God has done a great work in all of us, and He has transformed us. To know God is the best thing about Mount Zion. The next best thing is being a part of an army of young people God is raising up. May the fruit of our bond together last our whole lives (Psalm 133). My sincere prayer is that brokenness would surpass the Mount Zion experience to lives truly broken for the Lord Jesus. I love you all from the bottom of my heart. I am filled with hope of what God is about to do. No eye has seen, no ear has heard what the Lord has prepared for us, His bride. (John 14:2) In Christ, Ifeoma Anunkor Dear Class, Oh, my goodness! Three years have just flown by. I remember back to the first year when we came in, full of questions, fears, maybe even other agendas. Our second year we grew and were learning to lead, teach, preach, share our gifts, and acknowledge our inadequacies. Now, here we are, third year, knowing who we are in Christ, fully acknowledging we are human and still fail; but embracing the truth of the message of the Cross with all we are. I have seen you all grow so much! Never forget what made you come to Mount Zion; and never forget what made you stay: His love, His drawing power, His voice, His beauty, His overall splendor. Let us make the decision to run forward to whatever God has planned for us. Hold on, do not forget what you have learned and I will see you at the end of the race! 25 The Internship The internship is the time when the student puts into practice the classroom training from the past two years. It is when the students are exposed to full-time ministry and learn all that encompasses the ministry work. Many walk away with a greater understanding of their position in Christ, as they have learned that without Christ, they can do nothing. There are many testimonies of changed hearts as they ve experienced first hand the necessity to preserve that intimate relationship with the Lord. It is in His presence we are changed (II Corinthians 3:18), and also prepared to effectively minister in the love and power of Christ. The internship is definitely a time of seasoning and maturing in every student s walk with the Lord. It is from this place that many have laid down their lives to continue in the service of the Lord. 28 Dear Class, As I look back to our second year in Mount Zion I have to think of the words: Many, O Lord my God are Your wonderful works which You have done; and Your thoughts towards us cannot be recounted to You in order; if I would declare and speak them, they are more than can be numbered (Psalm 40:5). There is a shout of joy and thankfulness in my heart as I see the Lord taking us into deeper revelation of who He is and what He means to each one of us. It is His word that promises a relationship with Him (Matthew 18:20), where His grace and mercy will change us with His love (II Corinthians 3:18). The evidence of this changed life can be clearly seen in you, my classmates. We are not the same people now, (Praise God!), as we were when we first arrived to this school. It is a joy to be in fellowship with believers with such a passion for Christ and compassion for lost souls. 30 Dear Class, This has been a very fruitful year as every one of us has changed so much, just from being in God s presence. The fruit of the work that God is doing in us will only be fully revealed in eternity, but the possibilities of a life wholly given to Christ are endless. We as a class stand upon a threshold of limitless opportunities, if we will simply continue to be wholly surrendered to Him. If we will keep our eyes upon Christ, the Author of our salvation, He will continue to write every page of our lives and keep us until the last exclamation point is written. 33 EVENTS Fellowship. As a Christ-centered school our unity comes from true fellowship with Christ and with one another. The heart of this school is to know Christ and in knowing Christ we also must know one another. Throughout the school year we live together as a community. During the holidays we celebrate together as a family. In all the day-to-day activities of life our times of fellowship help us forge a greater bond with one another, both as a student body and as the body of Christ. 1) Chanel Galbraith ( 12) & Crystal Torres ( 12) at the missions fellowship 2) Hannah Gregan ( 11) shows off her popcorn snowman 3) Bethany Neil ( 12) reads Scripture as Emily Sherwood ( 12) plays the violin 4) Flag presentation during Missions Week 5) Students display their Thanksgiving turkey 6) Glenda Hampton speaking during a Missions Week chapel 6 2

Missions Week: The theme of this year s Missions Week was Isaiah 6:8. It focused on hearing God s cry to His people: Whom shall I send and who will go for Us? We were challenged to question how far we would go in answering His call and to contemplate what this might cost us in our own lives. We were urged to go deeper in prayer with an understanding that intimacy with the Lord is our first calling and the place where He will share with us His burden for this lost and dying world. The week started out with a presentation on the persecuted church by Mary Rose Medina and Melanie Pagan. The following day Joseph Wehrer did a presentation on the history and culture of the land of Israel. Later in the week Glenda Hampton shared her testimony of prayer and waiting on God as she heard the call to start a work in India. Our chapel presentations were concluded by students who presented profiles of missionaries, both historical and present-day, who also heard this same cry from the Lord and answered His call in their own generations. 4 Who Will Go For Us? Here Am I. Lord, Send Me. 5a The week ended with an interactive missions experience. Personalized invitations asked everyone to dress in the garb of a particular country. Students served as tour guides and led groups to different mission stations set up throughout the Manna House, where selected nations and cultures were 1 represented in living dioramas. The evening was fun for all and gave a good picture of a few of the world s people groups and ways to reach them with the Good News. Overall, Missions Week was a precious time where we were stirred to give God full surrender so that when we hear His call, our hearts will respond, Here am I; send me, no matter the cost. 2 Mary Rose Medina & Melanie Pagan Representatives of Voice of the Martyrs Mount Hope Staff 3 Glenda Hampton Times Square Church Missionary 6a 6b Joy Selby 5b Andrew Vance 6c Jacques Gakwaya Geraldine Denis Jeevan Dhale Joseph Wehrer Representative of Bridges for Peace Jessa Williams Missions Director 6d Natalya Sidorishin & David Fernandez 6e Miriam Nuñez Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us? 38 STUDENT LIFE Our purpose in being at Mount Zion is to know Christ. This is the common thread that runs through the lives of all of the students. Devotions, studies, classes, jobs and chapel services are the largest portion of campus life. However, there is also time for fun, food and fellowship. All the aspects of daily life are woven together in a tapestry that, when complete, will show forth the beauty of Christ in the lives of the students. 1) Vladimir Zadneprovskiy ( 12) searches the Scriptures 2) Roman Haljkevic ( 11) on his way to class 3) Irene Sanchez ( 12) and Ashley Roberts ( 10) worshiping 4) Jessica Lee ( 12) prepares for a trip down the hill 5) Students take a trip to Funck s on the weekend 6) First year ladies pose for a picture 5 2 6

The first year curriculum is designed to lay a solid doctrinal foundation for the students, giving them an overview of the Bible as a whole. The second year of studies focuses specifically on preparing students to preach and teach the Word, with instruction in practical ministry. During the third year students are able to apply all that was learned during the first two years as they participate in a six-month internship before they return to campus for four final months of instruction. By the time they graduate from Mount Zion students will have acquired a solid foundation of Biblical scholarship to build upon in their future lives and ministries. 51 Mt. Hope Camp Inc. is a women and children s ministry/program. Beautiful green surroundings of forty acres gives Mount Hope the sense of God s sovereignty and His peace. Dear Pastor Carter and Pastor Teresa Conlon, Throughout the years we have been so blessed by your ministry to the staff and student body. It is with grateful hearts that we say, Thank You! We pray for God s continued blessing and anointing on your lives. With love from your Mount Zion family! Dear Pastor Neil and Sister Noline Rhodes, Your lives and ministry have been a tremendous encouragement to the staff and student body. We have so appreciated the time you have spent with us. You have given us a true appreciation of anointed and normal. We pray for God s blessing on your lives as you venture out in this new calling to the Ukraine. With love from your Mount Zion family! Mt. Hope is a place where Jesus Christ has the preeminence by His Holy Spirit. Women or women and their children arrive at this place in order to gain an intimate relationship with Him. In this place, the women learn about God, His voice, and His will for their lives. This is accomplished through personal devotional times (first thing in the morning), chapel services, prayer meetings, Bible classes, church services, and counseling Directors of Mt. Hope Camp, Cheri and Mark Galbraith, with (as needed). The Lord quickly reveals His love and devotion to the founder, David Wilkerson women and immediately begins to do a work of consolation in their heart; thus, trust in Him begins and transformation occurs. Through their new found relationship with Christ, women learn how to retain this relationship and how to live above their emotions, pains, disappointments, and discouragements due to dysfunctional circumstances (i.e. rejection, neglect or abandonment) that they have been subjected to in their lives. They now begin to realize that Jesus not only forgives but He actually has a plan for their lives. The women who have children with them in turn begin to teach their children that they too can have a relationship with Jesus. In addition, there is home schooling for their children in which they not only learn academics but God s principles as well. The children have a structured day of activities which begins with devotions and the pledge of allegiance followed by academics, art, music, and gym. There are also occasional field trips. At the camp, the children enjoy bicycling, rollerblading, and other fun games and activities. In the summer months outside activities may be available in the community i.e. softball, soccer, swimming, and visits to the park and hiking. There are weekly picnics with swimming, a camping trip, and shopping in the summer. The women at the end of 18 months of structure are then offered a pre re-entry phase where more time is needed before going out to the community to work or go to school. A re-entry phase follows where they may go to school (community college is available) or work. Work may be available at the camp, and some choose to volunteer their time. If you or someone you know is in need of healing and restoration from past wounds and past relationships, please contact us for more information at (908) or us at mthopeministry@comcast.net.
