9 What will a student workbook have? Activity Part According to the age group and their levels we will have coloring sheets, puzzles, word searches, match and mix, creative drawing, fun writing, crafts, memory verses, secret code word games, word scavenger hunts, hula helps and much, much more. We believe VBS should be fun at the same time kids and teens should get excited about the things of God. Activities not for the sake of it, but that which will trigger the though process and make them think. Learning Part Specific principles from God s Word highlighted, extra material to read, self discovery tabs for the kids and teens to go on their search. Explaining the memory verses so that they understand what they memorize. For inters and Teens, FAQ s on practical questions, peer pressure questions and apologetic questions will be answered. We believe VBS programs are just springboards for kids and teens to move more deeper in their walk with the Lord. We just don t want to tell them to eat a banana, but show them how to do it. Today kids and teens are being deceived by the lies and we believe providing enough help from God s Word will bring clarity into their lives. Application Part Each lesson will have a Game On corner. This is where practical way forward suggestions will be given for kids and teens. We believe that kids and teens should be able to take what they have learnt in the VBS to another level by living it out. We believe that VBS should not stop just in this event or program. It should go beyond. We want to see lives change. Live that will bear fruits. Fruits that will last. Few more comments Every book is designed differently to reach out the specific age group. 2. This material is made for URBAN CONTEXTS. This may not be applicable for village contexts. 3. It is recommended that this material be used in ENGLISH speaking contexts. 4. Connecting struggles, issues and challenges of every day life with principles from God s Word is the heart beat of this material. 5. We envision to see kids and teens get back home after the program and meet with the Lord in their private time. That is our prayer and end goal. 6. This has been a long standing burden in our hearts to create quality, Bible centered, life relevant material for kids and teens in Indian Churches. We praise God that He has made this possible.
