4 A Life Sketched in the Masters Hands To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven; a time to be born a time to die... Eccl. 3:1-2 A Time to be Born Margiana Beatrice Chambers was born on May 2, 1929 to Annie Miles and Edward Chambers in Dry Hill, Lucea in the parish of Hanover Jamaica West Indies. She was the oldest of four children. Her mother died soon after the birth of the last child therefore Bea was left to help care for her siblings. All the children went to live with her Aunt Alice and later lived with her Aunt Cira.. At the tender age of 14 Bea left Hanover to take a job as a babysitter for the Manager of the Sugar Estate at Frome in Westmoreland. This job was the ideal setting to help her grow as a young woman. She was taught how to cook, bake, sew, the basics of homecare and running an Estate Home. As a young adult she always carried herself with a great deal of pride and dignity, she earned the name Ms. Bea from her first employer; who respected and loved her. Ms. Bea begun seeking the Lord and was first baptized into the Church of England, a Baptist church. As her love for God increased she began to study and seek more of God s Word. She later accepted the full teachings of God s Word and became a member of the Jane Marks Seventh Day Adventist Church in Westmoreland Jamaica. She left Westmoreland and relocated to Kingston where she worked as a pastry chef for Farmers Market Limited, one of the largest bakery at the time. The Prime Minister Norman Manley would stop by personally each week just to get one of Ms. Bea s fruit pies. She was a dedicated worker the type that would arrive early and leave late. She was the best of her kind. A Time to Plant In the late 1960 s Ms. Bea migrated to the United States and lived in the Bronx. She worked as a maid for many years and would cater and host dinner parties for many celebrities and their friends because of Ms. Bea s unusual inner beauty, loving kindness, helpfulness, honesty and joyful attitude many of her employer would recommend her to their friends. Ms. Bea later returned to school to complete a Nursing Assistant certificate at Lehman College and worked as a Nursing Assistant for many years. She

5 was a very diligent worker and often held two jobs at a time. She was married to Sidney Cubia for 44 years until he passed in A Time to Reap Ms. Bea s greatest reward is her children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. They were her awards and Joy. Her ritual was to pray for each one of her Grandchildren every morning calling them each by name before the Lord. She also loved her church and was a member of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist church for over 40 years. A Time to Die Ms. Bea was preceded in death by her son Dennis Anglin and her husband Sidney Cubia. Our Father s way may twist and turn, our hearts may throb and ache, but in our hearts we are glad to know that He makes no mistakes. Ms. Bea, Margie, Sister Cubia, and Grandma whatever you called her, she lived an influential and fruitful life and it ended peacefully on April 1 st, 3:21 pm with all her children present. Her death removes a link from us that cannot be replaced. A sleep that only God can awake. She rest and awaits the resurrection. May her soul rest in peace. A Time to Mourn Ms. Bea leaves to mourn, her siblings, Christina Smith, Estella Chambers and Lebert Chambers. Her children Delores Seymour, Derrick Greaves, Janet Wallace and Samuel Wilson. She was Grandma to Annmarie Chok, Rory Anglin, Kurt Anglin, Jody Anglin, Brittannya "Tenny" Seymour, Ronald Seymour, Lavern Seymour, Demetrice Greaves, Lisa Greaves, Malik Greaves, Amanda Wallace, Adrian Wallace, and Solomon Wilson. Her Great Grand Children are Daniel Chok, Deusan Chok, Jaeden Chok, Isabella Anglin, Julia Anglin, Abby Anglin, Kylee Edwards, Rayhan Seymour, Rayshawn Seymour, Dante Daley, Davianna Daley, Deandra Daley, Jamar Seymour, Jonte Seymour, Jaden Seymour, Dominique Franklin and Naila Dell. She was Aunt Bea to Cheryl Johnson and Audrey Kellier. She also loved her adopted Grandchildren Darius Baker Greaves, D Quam Lee and Jacob Castro and adopted Great Grand Johnnoy Harris. Beloved Daughter in Laws are Michelle Anglin, Evelyn Greaves and Ashley Wilson. Devoted Son in Laws are Neville Seymour and Dennis Wallace. In addition to her biological family, Ms. Bea will be missed by her church family, neighbors, friends and those lives she has recently touched.

We are grateful for your visits, heartfelt prayers, and gifts of love, encouragement, hugs and comforting words.
