1 Peachtree Road United Methodist Church July 15, 2012 Seventh Sunday After Pentecost Summer in the City The Season After Pentecost, also called Ordinary Time, begins the day after Pentecost and ends the day before the First Sunday of Advent. The first Sunday after Pentecost is Trinity Sunday and the last Sunday is the Sunday of the Reign of Christ or Christ the King. The season also includes All Saints and Thanksgiving. Summer in the City In our July and August worship services we will revisit some of our favorite hymns and welcome special guests for Summer in the City. Local Outreach Feed the Hungry Food Drive This month we are collecting food items for Feed the Hungry Foundation which delivers food to families in crisis. Grocery bags with a list of needed items will be available after worship today. Information is also online and in the church kiosks. Bring items to the bins in the Rollins Center or Fellowship Hall. Clothing for BCM THRIFTique BCM s THRIFTique is a boutique-style thrift store that provides free clothing to people in need, and affordable clothing to the community. The shop is in critical need of clothing donations - especially men s items and shoes. Please bring items to BCM 800 Miami Circle, Mon-Sat, 10:00 am-4:00 pm. Music & Arts Cherub Choir Camp - A Few Spots Open August 6-10, 9:30 am-12:00 pm 4 year olds (by 9/1/12) are introduced to choir at this fun camp filled with songs, games and stories! $125 per child.
