1 How to calculate or count the number of the beast WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE BEAST WHO S NUMBER IS 666, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW READ ON For years people have been trying to figure out the name of the beast. People have been trying to apply Hebrew letters to the number 666 in an effort to come up with a name for this man. They were taking the wrong approach to solving this mystery. God is working through the church now so the answer concerning the name of the beast is found in the Bible. Just as the question about the beast s number is found in Revelation 13/18, the answer to the question is also found in the Bible in John 6/66. If an answer for the name of the beast were to come from any other source than the Bible it is invalid and must be ignored. Jesus told us that everything the Father has told Him He has told to us via the apostles and the Holy Spirit would bring all things back to the apostle s remembrance. The Bible is the complete inerrant word of God everything we need to know is written in the Bible. If God asks a question He provides the correct answer. All Glory be to our God! Ok let s move on to the topic that has made people wonder for the last two thousand years. What is the name of the beast? In Revelation 13/18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. People have been trying to apply letters to the number 666 trying to count the name of the beast I tried that myself. After a few minutes I prayed for help then God showed me how to count the (number) of the beast so as to arrive at his true name and his number both at the same time. All glory be too God! Forever and ever amen! You are going to laugh when you see how simple this calculation is. God didn t say figure out the name of the beast (For that is already written down in the Bible) He said count the (number) of his name 666. The number 666 is the number of the beast it is also a Bible verse reference. In John 6/66 it reads. 66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Many who were following Jesus balked at His teaching that to be saved you had to drink His blood and eat His flesh. Jesus went on to explain it is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. Despite The Lords explanation many who followed Jesus turned away and followed Him no more. One disciple in particular turned away from his faith in Lord Jesus but continued to tag along because he was in charge of the money given to the Lord and used to take from the funds to spend on his own desires. I m going to write out the next verses so you can see how you arrive at the number of the beast and his name both at the same time. Starting with John chapter 6 verse 66 you need to add one more 6 to verse 66. This is where we are instructed to count the number of the beast arriving at the number 666. To do this start with verse 66 and count six verses forward to verse 71. As you arrive at verse 71 you have counted the third 6 onto verse 66 so you now have the counted number 666 and the first thing you see is the name of the beast. Here s an example starting with John 6/66 to 71 (verse 66) (1) From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. (verse 67) (2) Then Jesus said to the twelve, Do you also want to go away? (verse 68) (3) But Simon Peter answered Him Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. (verse 69) (4) Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. (verse 70) (5) Jesus answered them, Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil? (verse 71) (((6))) 666 He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve. When you start at John 6 verse 66 you need

2 another six, (to count) or add the third 6 to verse 66, with the additional 6 you have then counted the number of the beast 666. So starting with verse 66 because that s part of the number you count forward six verses landing on verse 71. At the same time you arrive at verse 71 you have added or counted the third six onto verse 66 so you now have the beasts counted number 666 placed immediately before you read the name of the beast (6th) verse forward of 66, verse 71 or the counted number 666 He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve. That is how you count the number of beast and his name both at the same time. So when you read Revelation 13/18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. John 6/71 or the counted number 666 He spoke of Judas Iscariot the Son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve. Revelation 13/18 is the first half of the sentence and John 6/71 or the counted number 666 is the other half of the sentence. You put the two half sentences together by overlapping the number 666 from both sentences. So the complete sentence reads. Here is wisdom. Let him with understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred threescore and six He spoke of Judas Iscariot the Son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him being one of the twelve. Take special note here Verse 70 tells us that it is Lord Jesus who is giving us this answer. Too God be the glory Amen! Now many scriptures start to make sense Judas betrayed Jesus unto death and when he comes the second time he will seek to destroy the human race making them take his name Judas Iscariot synonymous with betrayer. If you take his name or the number of his name 666 or worship the image of the first beast you become a Judas or betrayer of God. Jesus said in Matthew 26/24 The Son of man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born. Judas is the only person in the Bible of whom Jesus said it would be better had he not been born. Judas is also the only man Jesus called The Son of Perdition. When Judas comes the second time he will lead untold millions into eternal death. In John 5/43 I have come in My Father s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. Here Jesus said I come in God s name as your Savior or Messiah and you fail to receive Me. Another speaking of Judas will come in his own name and him you will receive. Judas is the false prophet he will tell the world he is Judas Iscariot from two thousand years ago, then lying he will say Jesus never did the things the Bible says, that s why he is called the false prophet. Only a person with a good Jewish name like Judas Iscariot could be the (false) messiah only a Jew could be received as messiah of today and the Jews looked on Judas as one who was instrumental in protecting the Jewish faith. In John 17/12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled. Jesus gave Judas and only Judas the name the (son of perdition). In Revelation 13/1 it tells us the first beast rises up from the sea, the sea being the human race. In Revelation 13/11 the second beast rises up from the earth or the bottomless pit because he Judas is coming back from the dead and that s why people at that time say who can fight against the beast, because Judas is a spirit being he can t be killed, you could fire a gun at him and the bullet would pass right through him with no ill effects. That s also why the Bible says he goes to perdition, perditions means wasting when Judas is thrown into the lake of fire he goes to eternal wasting. We learn more about the second beast in Revelation 17/8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition.

3 Perdition pops up when the second beast is spoken of in various places. Revelation 17/ The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition and those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is and the other has not yet come. And when he comes he must continue a short time. 11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. Judas is the seventh king he is the eighth because he being one person will live two lives yet he is one person. Over and over these verses tell us that the beast was and is not and yet is. In short the beast or Judas Iscariot lived in the time of Jesus then he died yet he will rise up from the bottomless pit and walk upon the earth again, then he will go to perdition. The first beast seems to also die then come back to life as he is mortally wounded by the sword yet his mortal wound is healed. Now let s look at scriptures that prove Judas Iscariot is the second beast whose number is 666, Judas Iscariot is the only person that can be the second beast because of what s written in the scriptures. In Daniel 7/7-8 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8 I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words. At first glance one would naturally conclude the three horns that are plucked out by the little horn will come from the ten horns just mentioned. The only problem is the first horns are Jesus Christ and the twelve apostles, not including Judas Iscariot, Paul being the twelfth. In the heavenly trial of mankind Lord Jesus chose twelve apostles to help Him draw humanity to Christ their Savior. Satan also was given twelve apostles that he might draw as much of humanity as he could down to eternal death. Lord Jesus chose to have His apostles start gathering disciples starting two thousand years ago while Satan chose to deploy his twelve apostles at the end of the age during the seven years of the tribulation period. Jesus said in Matthew 11/19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners! But wisdom is justified by her children. Luke 7/35 But wisdom is justified by all her children. Jesus being God knew full well how best to save His children and He sent His apostles into the world as soon as possible drawing humanity to salvation. If one were to put a time stamp on the ten horns of the tribulation period they are the last ten horns or gentile kings. The last ten kings of the tribulation period will give their power to the two beasts, the false prophet and the anti Christ. This combination of the two beasts and the ten horns or the ten kings of the tribulation period make up the twelve apostles of the devil. The first horns are Jesus Christ and the twelve apostles because they literally came first. The ten horns of the tribulation period are the last horns. Nowhere in Revelation will you find anything that say s the beast uproots any of the ten last kings. As a matter of fact in Revelation 17/14 it tells us the (ten horns) will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them. This is the battle of Armageddon this happens sometime right before or during the last year of the tribulation period. So the ten horns of the tribulation period are not done away with until the end of the tribulation period. Sometime right before or during the last year they are all defeated at one time by Lord Jesus. This is borne out by Rev.17/12-17 The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no

4 kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful. 15 Then he said to me, The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. People have made a mistake thinking the three horns the beast uproots come from the ten kings of the tribulation period they don t and Rev. 17/12-17 bears this out. Nowhere in Revelation will you find any mention of three of the ten world kings being up rooted by the beast. The answer is this. Judas Iscariot the little horn in Daniels vision betrayed Lord Jesus unto death and personally delivered Jesus up to the temple guard with a kiss. Jesus is the first horn Judas uproots. The second and third horns Judas uproots are James and John the sons of thunder. Revelation 10/4 Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them. The sons of thunder or James and John will witness to the world for twelve hundred and sixty days, that s three and a half years. They will both be prophesying for the three and a half years so the combined time of their witness is seven years, thus the seven thunders, John was commanded not to write what the seven thunders said when they uttered their voices because they have free will to call down on the earth any plague they want and if the plagues were to be written down in the Bible that would violate their freedom to call any plague of their choice. The next verse speaks of the uprooting of the last two horns or the Sons of Thunder by Judas. Remember Judas is the beast who rises up from the bottomless pit. Revelation 11/7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. James and John are the two witnesses who prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days from the two and a half year point of the tribulation period till the end of the sixth year of the tribulation period. Only Judas can kill all three of the first horns and he still has two to go. He killed Lord Jesus two thousand years ago by betraying Him to the temple guard. Now two thousand years in the future Judas will rise from the bottomless pit and kill James and John, the two witnesses of the tribulation period. Remember Jesus spoke to James and John in Matthew 20/22-23 But Jesus answered and said, You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They said to Him, We are able. 23 So He said to them, You will indeed drink My cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; Jesus said you will indeed drink My cup and be baptized with the same baptism I am baptized with. Jesus was betrayed unto death by Judas and then Jesus rose again from the dead three days later. James and John will be killed by Judas and they will be raised from the dead three and a half days later at the end of the sixth year of the tribulation period. Both Lord Jesus, James and John will drink the same cup being betrayed unto death by Judas and be baptized with the same baptism, being raised from the dead three days later. Judas is the only one who can kill all three of the first horns Jesus James and John, only Judas can accomplish this task even with a two thousand year gap between his murderous deeds. One last scripture to chew on before I close Second Thessalonians 2/3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition. Remember Jesus gave Judas and only Judas the name the son of perdition. The falling away here is not talking about the first door or as most call it the rapture. The falling away refers to the condition of the church the fact that it is falling away from the scriptures and God s truths, the church is becoming worthless. The first door can t come until the church becomes worthless and Judas Iscariot the man of sin is revealed as the second beast, the false prophet, The Son of Perdition the man whose number is 666. The church for the most part has already fallen away. Not all, but most of the pastors of today are like the Pharisees of old, they are more concerned with their power, position and making money rather than getting the people ready to leave this world behind. So when you show them the obvious in the scriptures about how it s time to get ready to leave the earth they don t want to hear or see the things that will take away their power place or their money. Jesus said you can t serve two masters you either serve mammon (money & power) or you serve God! Most pastors of today as it was with the Pharisees of old serve money and power. Only the church of Philadelphia has the promise from God that they would escape the hour of trial that would come upon the whole world to test those who dwell upon the earth. The Door keeper opens for Lord Jesus and Jesus leads His people out of this world and into the Fathers house. People wake up! Time to get ready to leave! Too God be the glory! It is God who gives understanding and wisdom all glory be to our God and Jesus Christ the Son of God our beloved LORD and Savior. Wake up people! Jesus said in Luke 21/36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and stand before the Son of Man. God has given all of us a heads up I AM coming!!! Get yourselves ready for the Lords wedding feast. Live your lives for Lord Jesus read His word, keep His word - pray always. Establish a bond of love with LORD JESUS, Revelation 3/20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. He stands at the door and knocks those who open the door and invite Jesus in become born again of the Spirit and when perfected we become one with God. God bless you all!
