3 Any diocesan bishop shall be under a duty to use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that every office holder in the diocese is afforded opportunities to participate in such education or training as is appropriate to promote that office holder s ministerial development. Each office holder shall be under a duty to participate in arrangements approved by the diocesan bishop...for the continuing ministerial education of that office holder.

11 For clergy and lay people who have leadership responsibility in their local church. Facilitator: James Lawrence, Leadership Principal of CPAS Cost 20 including lunch.

12 This day will be of interest to all clergy, lay and ordained. The aim of the day will be to enhance your role as church leaders, as you contribute to making a reality of the common good, of shalom, in your church and local community, inspiring a Christ-like leadership that enables local leadership by others. The event will be facilitated by Revd Canon Jeremy Worthen (Secretary for Ecumenical Relations and Theology, Council for Christian Unity, former principal of SEITE). Tickets cost 10 and include a sandwich lunch.

13 We are the one in four A day to explore Mental Health and Spirituality, and share good practice within church communities. Cost 10 including lunch.

14 Two afternoons for C of E and RC clergy to engage in conversations about evangelism. Numbers limited to 12. You must be able to attend both sessions. A sandwich lunch will be provided.

15 This study day will address the practical challenges of preaching and practising the good news of reconciliation and forgiveness. Led by the Revd Dr Jon Coutts, Tutor in Theology and Ethics at Trinity College, Bristol, the day will combine theological input with reflection and group discussion. Cost 25 including lunch.

17 Baptism matters is a one day presentation, led by the Revd Dr Sandra Millar, for clergy, readers and others involved in baptism and family ministry. New research and resources around baptism are making an impact on church growth and on this key ministry where we meet families for their first steps on their journey of faith. Cost including lunch.

18 This day workshop will focus on Luke s presentation of the Jesus story. Steve Smith is tutor and lecturer in New Testament Studies at St Mellitus College. Cost 10 including lunch.

Clarifying those plants with SDF funding to start in 2018 and creating more detailed project plans. Pioneer Hubs Progressing licensing/charitable status applications and recruitment of Licensed Pioneer Ministers for Maybush and Andover pioneer hubs. MDAs Limited activity pending agreement of strategy for church plants and pre-schools. MDA work ongoing through local parishes.
