1 Pray for children around the world Caribbean Territory In 2016, 5.6 million children died before their fi*h birthday, primarily due to a small number of common, preventable and treatable condi ons. Pray that this sta s c would con nue to be reduced so that every child will have a chance at life! ongoing relief efforts following the devasta on of recent hurricanes. Christmas ke le efforts taking place in several countries of the Caribbean training and deployment of youth leadership in this territory. Pray for effec ve coopera on and collabora on between The Salva on Army and other churches and non-profits that are established in this region. Join in prayer for the Congo Brazzaville Territory Pray for access to clean, safe water. Currently this right is not available to 663 million people around the world. Pray for a pure Gospel to be proclaimed that is devoid of syncre sm and heresy. Pray for an expansion of ministries that equip youth to decisively impact the na on for Christ. Pray for Salva on Army officers and soldiers as they minister to central African refugees and meet prac cal needs.

Prayer Requests: The Christmas Kettle campaign in Jamaica Major Violet s parents Matthew s ongoing school studies Fitzgerald Family: Captains Jonathan and Catherine Emily and A.J. -Prayer for the Cadets and officers in this territory, most of whom serve outside their home country for many years (we have 16 countries in our territory). -Favor for the Salvation Army in the governments so that visas and work permits will be approved. Some officers wait months to be able to go to their appointment. Others may be away from their appointment for months trying to get visas and passports renewed. -Financial resources to care for the Officers and retired officers and to minister to the people in the most need. -Safety for the officers, cadets and soldiers who are working at kettles this season. Major Wes Green I would covet prayers for those staff who are charged with the accoun ng of funds. This would include those specifically responsible for the disbursement of the cash and those who maintain the records. I would also see the need for the benefactors of the projects funding to find ways for funds to be used for the greater good of en re villages. I would pray for protec on of resources, (people and funds) from corrupt agencies that demand a por on. Pray that God would increase our vision of His Kingdom here on earth and we would give of our abundance. Worldwide The Salvation Army runs 32 general hospitals, 128 general clinics, 125 mobile medical clinics, and dozens of other medical programs implemented by over 3,000 doctors and medics. Pray for health and healing for the patients in these medical facilities, and pray for wisdom and compassion for the medical personnel.

4 Commissioners Merle & Dawn Heatwole Pray for India South Eastern Territory Pray that the Gospel would continue to spread in India. Poverty, cultural barriers, illiteracy, religious opposition and a rigid class system pose tremendous obstacles to the gospel. Pray for perseverance for Believers as many Christians face persecution. The safe delivery of our new grand daughter who is due in February, as well as for her mom and dad as they welcome a new baby. Continued safe travel as we visit throughout the zone. We travel at a minimum of 7-10 days per month so we travel a lot! We kindly request to li* up in your prayers all our ke le workers (volunteers and employees) asking the Lord to give them strength and joy, protec on and safety; some of them need to meet Jesus personally. Please also keep in your prayers our young people, to be determined and courageous to share God's plan of salva on with others. Pray for peace in Kenya, resolu on to many complex issues, and for The Salva on Army officers and soldiers as they minister during this me.

5 Pray for leaders Leaders of nations, leaders of communities, leaders of schools, leaders of churches, leaders in The Salvation Army I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness - 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Pray for Captain Christopher Marques as he serves in the Youth Department in Japan, a nation where less than 3% of people are Christians. Pray for drifting, over-worked, and anxious youth to find freedom in Christ. This Christmas pray for the Persecuted Church Pray that these Believers would endure their hardships find joy in the midst of trials encourage one another remain confident in their faith find comfort in their faith There are currently 65.6 million people who are forcibly displaced worldwide.
