MISSION NETWORK PRAYER REQUEST Alisha and Josh Garber of Mennonite Mission Network teach and mentor students at LCC International University in Lithuania. Throughout the winter, Josh has battled bronchitis. Pray for renewed energy for Josh and for the health of Alisha and their first child expected in May. 2 There are Camp Camrec 2016 brochures under the bulletin board in foyer. Please feel free to take one! There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board for Women s Retreat food. Please consider helping out. As you are spring cleaning and discover good used clothing, please consider donating to Menno Women in Mission to disperse to local clothing banks and MCC shops. Clothing will be packed at the May 12 meeting. Clothing should be clean and in good repair. Donations can be placed under the bulletin board in the Fellowship Wing. Mark your calendars now. CAMREC s Birds and Blossoms retreat is moving to May. We ll gather the 19th through the 22nd at camp in order to coordinate with the Leavenworth Bird Festival, which offers many optional activities in the area. Please remember SERVE Moses Lake with your donations of blankets and quilts. Toiletries are also needed; the "trial" size items as well as the hotel shampoos, lotions and soaps are gratefully accepted. Donations will be taken to the SERVE Moses Lake office every two weeks. The Everence Sharing Funds provided $ in matching funds to support special needs in our church last year. Bill Dyck serves as the Everence advocate for our congregations. 3 Prayer of Confession While we keep silent, our bodies waste away through our groaning all day long. Day and night your hand is heavy upon us and our strength dries up as in the heat of summer. Then, when we acknowledge our sin to you, and do not hide our iniquity, you forgive the guilt of our sin. Therefore, we offer our prayer and worship to you. Where do you find restoration? LENTEN JOURNAL Assurance Benediction In times of distress, the rush of mighty waters shall not reach us. God is a hiding place for us preserving us from trouble and surrounding us with glad cries of deliverance. Amen. May we turn toward the open arms of Christ and his ways and receive his good news of reconciliation. As we turn, may we experience and share the grace of his healing forgiveness.

4 LITANIES Call to Worship Leader: All: Leader: All: Many are the torments of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the Lord. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart. Opening Prayer Loving God, we gather this morning seeking to turn over a new leaf. As we listen for your words to us, may we come with humble hearts and trust in your abundant love a love that welcomes all who turn to you. Amen. Offering Prayer God speaks to us in wonders and whispers, In silence and Scripture, Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God s gifts are boundless. May we respond fully and freely with hearts and lives given to God.
