2 A WORD FROM PASTOR TORAIN will be a great year for us as a great people of God. What we must do this year is hear the voice of God, follow the vision He has given us and remain unified as we progress forward. We must realize the importance of hearing God s voice and not to confuse it with other distractions that are around us. There seems to be more and more things that come at us every day to move us from God. But I encourage everyone to keep your eyes focused and mind directed toward Christ. In all our ways we must trust Him, obey His Word and never grow weary in well doing for the Kingdom. After all, we win! This segment of the journey is essential to the success of the remainder of the trip. Don t falter now. Standing together, no one stands alone. Several centuries ago, ancient China wanted to secure its borders from its northern invaders. They had an ingenious plan. They built a great wall to protect the border. It was so thick that no one could knock it down. It was so long that no one could get around it. They posted soldiers at different places. It was built wide enough on the top for chariots to patrol. If they heard of an attack at a distant location, they could easily get to it. They were up high giving them a superior advantage over their enemies. But, in the first 100 years of the Great Wall of China, the nation was invaded three times. How? An enemy bribed the gatekeeper and entered into the land unprotected. Don t sell out to the things that are temporary but stay eternal minded. When we dismiss the importance of unity in the body of Christ, we risk being invaded by the enemy. God has called us to divine fellowship and relationship. This combination He has given us is one of the most powerful witnessing tools we have available to share with a lost and dying world. If we do not protect it, strive for it and do everything we can to promote it, we open the gate to the enemy. The enemy will attack you, family, friends, church and others to cause ineffectiveness and destruction. We will stand united as a body of believers and make a difference in this community we live in for the soon coming King. Enjoy you time with Him during this fast.

4 Day One (Monday, January 5) Voice of God Scripture: John 8:32 John 15:5 Lord God Almighty, I come before Your throne and bow in the Presence of Your glory. My heart s desire is to enter into the most intimate communion possible with You. More and more I realize the significance and wisdom of abiding in You and Your Word. Lord, guide me to hold fast to Your teachings and live in accordance with them. As I proceed toward intimacy with You, You reveal truth unto me. As Your truth is made known to me, I am able to walk in spiritual freedom so that I may hear when You speak. In Jesus name... Amen. 5 Day Two (Tuesday, Jan 6) Voice of God Scripture: Luke 8:18 Isaiah 55:3 Gracious Father, I seek Your face for spiritual knowledge to understand how to learn to listen. I am determined to be diligent to incline my ear unto You to hear that my soul shall live. Lord, please speak to my spirit, empower me to comprehend with my mind and emotions and respond with my will. I desire for my will to be aligned with Your will so that I may benefit from Your clarity of perception. My goal is to hear from Your divine perspective. I press to listen in the Name of Jesus. Amen. 6 Day Three (Wednesday, Jan 7) Voice of God Scripture: John 7:38 John 3:16 Father in the Name of Jesus, I proclaim (again) that I believe that You are the Sovereign Adonai who bought me with a price. I have the blessed assurance of knowing that You are my Master who rules over me! Jesus, I believe that You are Christ (the Messiah; the Anointed One). I believe Your promise that if I trust and rely on You, I will see the glory of God! Because of this doubtless belief in my innermost being, I welcome the continuous flow of Your living water. The flow of Your living water helps me to realize that I am created to hear the voice of God. I am honored that You desire to communicate with me! Thank You God! Amen. 7 Day Four (Thursday, Jan 8) Voice of God Scripture: Psalm 46:10 Psalm 131:1-2a Jehovah Shalom, You are my peace that surpasses all understanding. I submit to You and let Your peace rule in my heart. In Psalm 91, Your Word states that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the Shadow of the Almighty, whose power no foe can withstand. I bind every hindering spirit, every spirit of busyness, anxiety, selfishness and pride. I know that every demonic spirit (especially the spirit of pride) attempts to defile and destroy the soul. Jehovah Sabaoth, release Your strong, holy, warring angels over my life and the lives of those connected to me to guard, protect and fight in battle for us! 8 Day Five (Friday, Jan 9) Voice of God Scripture: Psalm 19:14 Psalm 119:148 Father God, as I meditate upon Your Word, please help me to dissect, understand and interpret the Word with clarity so that I may hear Your voice distinctively. 9 Day Six (Saturday, Jan 10) Voice of God Scripture: Psalm 27:4 Deuteronomy 4:29 Sovereign God, Jehovah Jireh-My Provider, I am privileged to belong to the Father that provides all that I need according to His riches in glory. As I (truly) seek You with all my heart, mind, soul and life, I am thankful that I can inquire of You, ask questions and expect answers from my All-knowing Father. In the Name of Jesus. Amen. 10 Day Seven (Sunday, Jan 11) Voice of God Scripture: Deuteronomy 4:36 Jeremiah 7:23 Father God, please grant unto me out of the rich treasure of Your glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in my inner man by the Holy Spirit. I confess and repent of all sins of commission and omission, in the Name of Jesus. I bind up every spirit of rebellion and disobedience that I may be positioned to walk in obedience in every way that pleases You. I surrender all that I may no longer procrastinate but quickly obey all that you have assigned for me to do. As I hear the voice of God, help me to be diligent to obey the voice of God. 11 Day Eight (Monday, Jan 12) Vision Scripture: Proverbs 29:18 Psalm 119:18 1 John 5:7 Lord, today I reaffirm my appreciation for Your Word and declare that I will look deeper into the Bible for greater understanding of my purpose. I delight in Your instructions and wise counsel. It gives me the clarity I need to see more clearly and to make wise and Godly decisions each day. By Your Word, I am able to see where I am to go with every step I take. I know that Your Word holds wonders which baffle the greatest minds and yet it is simple enough for a child to understand. Thank You for opening my eyes and allowing me to see more clearly through the Words of Life. I know that in order to see You clearly I must know You and I must trust Your Word to show me things which I do not understand. Thank You Lord for vision to see each day. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. 12 Day Nine (Tuesday, Jan 13) Vision Scripture: Genesis 16:13 Father, we cry out to You as El Roi, The God Who Opens Our Eyes. You opened Hagar s eyes in the wilderness when she found herself alone and afraid. You too will open our eyes during this season so that we can see hope. Hagar was awakened to the fact that You could see her and realized that she could then see You. Lord we cannot see anything that we should see until we first see You. Lord, as we pray, give us a vision of who You truly are. Awaken us to Your presence, El Roi, in Jesus name we pray, Amen. 13 Day Ten (Wednesday, Jan 14) Vision Scripture: Acts 2:17 Lord, we cry out to You to pour Your Spirit upon us as You did in the Book of Acts at Pentecost and as You did in the days of the prophet Joel. We need a refreshing of Your Spirit so that we will be empowered and enabled to hear and speak what heaven is saying in these last days. Increase Your pour and let there be more of us who prophesy, who see visions and who dream dreams. You ve called us to fast just as you did in Joel s day. You have again called for our hearts and not our sanctimonious, ceremonial, religious activities. Lord reward us as you said You would in Joel if the people turned their hearts toward You it will tip Your Spirit toward us like a pitcher pouring water from heaven until our hearts overflow with vision. Let us be reminded that our fast is unto You, O God. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight. In Jesus name Amen. 14 Day Eleven (Thursday, Jan 15) Vision Scripture: Daniel 2:47 Proverbs 29:18 Joshua 24:15 Lord, You are the Revealer of Secrets. Truly You are God and Lord in my life. Anoint me as You anointed Daniel to be trusted with Your secrets. Help me to walk as a trusted leader in my family, my home, my community and my church. Show me the vision for my children so that I might lead them in Your way. Give me the vision for my family and home so that we might be the Godly family You ve called us to be. I thank You that You daily reveal to me Your way and that I am willing to follow You so that my family might be saved from confusion, hopelessness and utter destruction. As for me and my house, we will serve only You, O Lord. In Your name I pray, Amen. 15 Day Twelve (Friday, Jan 16) Vision Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 Psalm 139:14 1 John 2:16 Lord, I take great comfort in knowing that You have ALWAYS known me and that You have always had a purpose for my life. Everything You create has the potential to serve Your purpose of establishing Your kingdom. Lord, refresh my heart and my mind to the purpose for my life. My spiritual DNA is encoded with the message of that purpose. Open my eyes to clearly see what was created in me. Allow me to see those things which distract me and hinder me from fulfilling my destiny. I consciously reject the things of this world and the spirit of mammon. Teach me how to enjoy what I have without falling into the deceptive trap of the world s ungodly pleasures. Encourage my heart as I instead choose heavenly treasures. Strengthen me to renounce and reject anything and everything that comes between me and the perfect purpose for which I was created. Father, unlock my potential for greatness and placement in You. 16 Day Thirteen (Saturday, Jan 17) Vision Scripture: 1 Chronicles 12:32 Ecclesiastes 3:1, 3:9-13 Lord, prepare us for the ensuing battle which we must fight to see our vision come to pass. In 1 Chronicles 12, David was able to raise an army of well-equipped, well-abled and faithful warriors to support him as the kingdom transitioned from Saul s immoral leadership to him as Your promised king. Raise Miles Chapel as a mighty army and make us a mighty force against those who are determined to prevail against our righteous cause. Anoint us as You anointed the sons of Issachar to know what the best course for Miles Chapel is in this season of our service to this great church and to You. We are only alive now because our purpose is now. Help us to regard this vision as though our very lives depend upon its fruition. Make us vision-dependent and vision defenders. We will praise You O Lord because we are fearfully and wonderfully made to fulfill Your purpose. In Jesus name we pray, Amen. 17 Day Fourteen (Sunday, Jan 18) Vision Scripture: Revelation 4:1 Ephesians 2:6 James 4:7 Father, increase my vision of the things that are eternal, of the things that are to come that I might see the world as it truly is and live my life as though eternity is now. I desire to sit with You in heavenly places and behold the wonders of eternity and the glory of heaven. I resist everything which purposes to block me from entering into the heart-felt worship which invites me to sit with You. Make me as the deer that pants for You with desperate thirst. Cause me to know that I am hungry for You. Lord, the more real eternity becomes to me, the more real my purpose on earth will be to me. As we, the Church, sit with You, You will make Your wisdom known to us so that we can realize our power and potential effectiveness against the principalities and powers who are sent to destroy our worship and hinder our relationship with Your and each other. Bring us into the revelation of this truth and empower us through worship to bring down our enemies. In Jesus name we pray. 18 Day Fifteen (Monday, Jan 19) Unity Scripture: Nehemiah 4:19-20 Lord, I pray that even now, while the world seems to be falling apart, we as the people of God will remember nothing can separate us from Your love. Death can t do it, powers above or powers below can t do it, our families and our jobs can t, and will not separate us from Christ. We take a stand and proclaim the name of Jesus. In these perilous times the God of our salvation will fight our battle. Amen. 19 Day Sixteen (Tuesday, Jan 20) Unity Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-3 Father, I surrender every part of me to Your sovereignty. God, You chose me to be Your own. Change the way I think so I think more like You, for Your thoughts are so much higher than mine. Your Spirit has the ability to unify Your people but we must be willing to surrender to Your plans. I am Your servant; release Your abundant peace over my life that I walk in unity with all men. 20 Day Seventeen (Wednesday, Jan 21) Unity Scripture: Ezekiel 37:18-23 Master, I come giving Your name thanks. There is no greater name than the name of Jesus. Every knee must bow and every tongue must confess You are Lord. Father, I thank You that You are taking and increasing my awareness of who You are. I am not overly concerned about my agenda, but I know if I seek You first and Your way of doing things I will have great things added to me. I praise You for giving me Kingdom thoughts. I will no longer walk in darkness. I know You have saved me from my sins. You have cleansed me and called me Your own. Not only have You called me, but You have called those connected to me. I pray for the lost that they will know You. For it is Your desire that we all know You. In Jesus name, Amen. 21 Day Eighteen (Thursday, Jan 22) Unity Scripture: Ephesians 4:12-13 Father in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the continual growth and maturity in the body of Christ. We will be of one mind, and of one faith ever developing into the men and women of God You designed for us to be. As we are consistent in bible study, prayer and fasting, You will give us more revelation of who You are and bring forth change in our lives. Transform, purify, and cleanse us from all our unrighteous ways so we may be more like You. Complete the work which You began in us, so we may draw more men unto You and save souls for Your Kingdom. May we not forget why we do what we do-to activate and advance the Kingdom of God in this earth. Keep us from being stagnant, prideful and selfish. May we press beyond where we are, always moving forward in Your name in humility constantly sharing You with others; in Jesus name, AMEN! 22 Day Nineteen (Friday, Jan 23) Unity Scripture: Psalm 133:1-3 Leviticus 19:17-19 Lord, we are our brother s keeper so we ask if there is fault or anything keeping us from loving each other that we will go to one another and resolve the issue so we may move forward in unity and that we may be able to save the lost! Lord, Your Word says we are to love our neighbor as we love ourselves and since we were created in Your image and are suppose to be disciples of Your Word, let us come together and put our differences aside and build up Your Kingdom together in unity! We will exalt Your name together, forever and ever in Jesus name we pray Amen!! Remember we are here to edify His Kingdom. I challenge you to make peace with someone you ve had a grudge with in order to bring unity to the Kingdom!! 23 Day Twenty (Saturday, Jan 24) Unity Scripture: Colossians 2:2-3 Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for encouraging my heart and uniting me in love with all believers. As my day begins, Father I pray I walk in obedience with You, carrying Your Spirit and truth inside of me. Heavenly Father, as I fast and study to show myself approved, bring clarity to me where there is any cloudiness or misunderstanding in my life. May You show me ALL the treasures that You have hidden for me. I will obey what You show and say to me as I walk in the purpose You have designed for me today. I declare a day of happiness and prosperity. Thank You in advance for Your wisdom and knowledge, in Jesus name, AMEN! 24 Day Twenty-One (Sunday, Jan 25) Unity Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:12 Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the Body of Christ; that this body will be one cohesive unit that brings glory to Your name. May we understand our individual purpose in keeping this unity stable, without division. Therefore, I come against all division, naysayers, every negative confession, lying and gossiping spirits that work against the unity that is needed for this time and season. I release life in our mouths, conducive conversations, honesty and Godly communication. Lord if there is any part of this body that is sick, weary, out of place or ignorant of their divisive ways, bring healing, strength, clarity of proper position, and conviction of unrighteous ways. Teach us how to work together with various personalities - baby and mature Christians - so Your perfect will is done. I pray that the right people are put in place to ensure unity is established and maintained. May we as a body walk in obedience in this endeavor, even willing to go and do what is uncomfortable. Thank You in advance for this answered prayer manifesting speedily, in Jesus Name, AMEN!!!!!
