Most couples are not in agreement, yet they want to WALK TOGETHER No wonder the great level of problems (disagreement, fighting, stress, strain, rancor, bitterness, unhappiness, etc.) in homes! Correction sometimes may need to be hard, but it does not always have to be it should be mostly gentle! Many children have already departed from the way they should go...and their parents are sweeping things under the rug! They are going to give account to God on the assignment! Colossians 4:17: And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

Blessings have to be spoken as you see in Number 6:22-27 If you want to keep your children out of evil, bless them by speaking blessings into their lives Attach high value to the one being blessed (value of life picture a special future for him or her) Behind every great success is a great reason! What will you be remembered for? The thunder fire you or The Timothy your children have become?

12 Definitions 1/2 Systems Systems thinking is the process of understanding how those things which may be regarded as systems influence one another within a complete entity or larger system. a.in nature, systems thinking examples include ecosystems in which various elements such as air, water, movement, plants, and animals work together to survive or perish. b.in organizations, systems consist of people, structures, and processes that work together to make an organization "healthy" or "unhealthy".

13 Definitions 1/2 Systems Concept of a system: Composed of parts and receives input from, and sends output into the wider environment All the parts of a system must be related (directly or indirectly), else there are really two or more distinct systems; also can be nested in another system The boundary of a system is a decision made by an observer or a group of observers Bounded in time but may be intermittently operational Consists of processes that transform inputs into outputs Is not autonomous in fulfilling its purpose (a car is not a system; a car with a driver is a system)

Encroachment from all corners of the world; Teachers, Coaches, Peers, Bullies etc. (Different priorities & Values) Bombardment from Massive and Slick Media Television, Music, Movies, Icons etc. (The world has Glamorized Everything that is Evil)

21 Developing a Sustainable System 2/3 Raising children requires huge chunks of time, prayers, discipline, involvement and relationship-building. When the family is not properly socialized, the problem or results are: Lack of Respect for the Authority, Hierarchy or Boundaries of the parents Poor Impulse of Control Selfish & Extremely Demanding Little Regard of how their behavior Hurts the Family. Solid Values and Morality is out of the Window (It s more like a joke now) Cheating in School: Plagiarizing, High Tech Cheating, Even parents aiding purchase of results, papers and Certificates

22 Developing a Sustainable System 1/3 Solutions: We can t completely eliminate bad influence; however, we can create deep meaningful & consistently positive and well guided values & believes like our father Abraham. You should never sacrifice 3 things: your family, your heart or your dignity. Your family is the most important thing in the world after God. Behavior can play a key role in evolutionary change. By Bateson 2002 / Gottilieb We try to shape our children to value such a faith by modeling that faith ourselves, by talking openly about how important that faith is, and by praising any manifestation of such a faith in our children.

Parents teach their values to their children most powerfully by the values they as parents live by. This is one of the most frightening facts about parenthood. Our children read us like a book for what we value. Our lives tell our children what we deem important and not important. I. Work and Friendship II. Time watching television or other recreational pursuits and no time for community service Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is the truth. Truth will win at the end John 17:17
