2 W 1 W 1 Mission Unstoppable: Cathy Payne, Global Missions Ministries Jesus said, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20, KJV). Themed as the Great Commission, and often referred to as the climax of this Gospel s witness, the last words of Jesus challenge the disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. Christ guaranteed the success of the Go ye even before he issued the command as He prophetically proclaimed, And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; (Matthew 24:14, KJV). We see the prophetic explode into reality as the experience of Pentecost filled human vessels with supernatural power and presence. We witness the dynamic ministry of prolific expansion during that day of Harvest throughout the book of Acts and the Epistles. Serving in the Global Missions office, we are inspired as we are informed of the inexhaustible and productive ministry of the Holy Spirit among our work in the nations. Many nations are increasingly experiencing the constraining authority of non-christian governments restricting Christian ministries. Yet, we witness the increasing effects of obedience to the command of Christ and the results of faithfulness in spontaneous moves of the Holy Spirit globally. As we make our way through the month of March and again celebrate our privilege to support mission efforts through the March Mission Drive, may we be so moved and reminded to inquire of the Lord as to His purposeful placement of our own unique investment in this eternal and unstoppable mission. 4 W 2 Africa Stephen Masilela, General Presbyter Pray for laborers and leaders. The harvest is open to the whole continent. We have over 2,000 churches but less than 1,500 licensed pastors. We need to train at least 1,000 more pastors by 2020 or else the weight will be very hard on the few leaders we have. Pray especially for our churches in Benin and Niger from where we share exciting news. The nation of Niger welcomed The Aviation Niamy church, a church with 50 members and is a primarily French-speaking congregation. The nation of Benin welcomed three new churches into the church body; The Badjame church has 98 members, the Glime-Ballohoue church came with 106 members, and the Donoume church increased with 235 members. Please especially pray for the new and thriving church that has been established in Auckland, New Zealand with Pastor James Bryce and his wife Patsy serving as the shepherds. They and their congregation are excited to be a part of the Church of God of Prophecy family and are actively training leaders with the intent of establishing new churches for the glory of God. We continue to need leadership training, resources, and the wisdom and strategy to train up new ministers throughout this region. God is working in this region and we are excitedly looking to the future for His guidance and blessings. Pray for us as we chase the future, that we get it right and ministry will explode to advance the kingdom of God. Pray especially for the concentrated national youth ministry in the nations of Turks and Caicos. Among other goals, the national youth ministry is being newly defined this year to include massive evangelistic revivals and crusades, Christian visits to schools, the construction of a Youth Conference Centre, efforts to engage and assist operating charitable organizations, and to seek, rescue, and engage young people in a series of training, fellowship, and development. Pray especially for the national work in Mexico where through church planting, we have been able to establish 93 new missions since July One extraordinary plant was the organization of a new church in the city of Culiacan, Sinaloa, a place where we have had only one church for 30 years. We give the Glory to Christ and we are convinced that the Holy Spirit is leading us to a great harvest in Mexico. Please also pray for an national overseer for this nation. This will be the greatest church planting project in the history of south America. We are expecting exponential growth. Pray especially for the nation of Argentina that celebrated more than 40 new church plants at the closing of their National Convention this past year, many of which are pastored by first time pastors who have recently received their ministers licensure. One of the strengths of their national work is their growing youth group that has been instrumental in hosting leadership conferences to train youth leadership throughout this entire region. Overseer Timothy Harper organized a church in Freeport, Illinois, William Oracio is pastor. Overseer Wallace Pratt reports the organizing of two churches; Arca de Salvación in Shedd Oregon, Juan Flores is pastor; and, Campos de Fe in Keizer, Oregon with Raul Lopez serving as pastor. Northeast English Regional Overseer Bishop Leroy Greenaway reports the addition of the church Soul Seekers for Christ L Assemblée des Chercheurs D Ames Pour Christ, Inc. in Randolph, Massachusetts with 140 receiving membership with pastor Max Dorgilus. Northeast Spanish Regional Overseer reports two new churches; Union City, New Jersey with Reinerio Reyes as pastor and Woodbridge, Virginia with Walter Villanueva serving as pastor.
