Appendix 2-3 There is a big secret to burn the lamp to go into the wedding banquet in this writing. Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. I tell you the truth, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them (LK12:35-37). THE MAIN TEXT: Like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him (LK12:36). Let me take this privilege to share something that happened to me a while ago. One day, a seed of love fell on the barren soil of my heart. I was so happy at that time that I could not hide my smiles. From that seed of love that fell into my heart, a beautiful flower of love blossomed on my face. Without any reason or prompting from another, I could not help but convey my pleasure to others. My thoughts would be much absorbed with the hero of my heart. Whenever I thought of Him, a flame of new hope burned in my heart. The reason the flame of new hope burned in my heart was because my heart at that time was barren, with much loneliness; but from that point onward, a new life of being united to my hero began. One day I met him by chance, and from that day I knew I had truly met my other half. As we spent much time together, I experienced great pleasure. I delighted to rest my thoughts in Him and share conversation with Him. In fact, I progressively found myself wanting more time with Him and I did not want to be far from Him, even for a second. However, I could not be with him all the time because we were yet not married; so we would part with the promise to meet again very soon. But I could not repress my sadness and when we would meet I would always cast my hope on when we would meet again. The seed of love for him was alive in my heart. In fact, I found myself becoming a slave to love, desiring to not deny my lover anything that he wanted because I loved him so much. Now I will stop talking about human love for a while to speak about the love story between the Lord and me. Thinking back now, with more maturity of heart; I see that human love is but a momentary, fleeting love (or transitory love) in this temporary world (2CO4:18). It was not until I experienced the everlasting love of the Lord that I realized that that human love is a mere shadow compared to the love of the Lord, which is everlasting. 259

I also came to realize that the Lord allowed me to taste human love to get me to desire a deeper spiritual love with Him. Since I came to know this secret, I have not pursued a physical love relationship with a man (MT10:37). Instead, I love all people spiritually. This is because the word that all are brothers in the Lord (MT23:8) is being fulfilled in my life. In the meantime, while I live on this earth; I give my love generously to only the Lord, whom I will love forever. I have learned through the Bible that this is the kind of love that He wants to have with humans (MT10:37; LK14:26; JAMES4:4, 5). I shall now return to the story about my fleeting love with a man. At that time, in my own love-struck eyes, all this man s deeds seemed beautiful. Even his mistakes were not a problem to me for I was drunk with love. My love covered his mistakes. At time, I thought that there was not a single person in the whole world better than he was. In my deep and intense affection for him, I lived thinking of him all day long and when we would meet, we enjoyed romantic talks from which I took comfort. If we had arranged to meet a week hence, from the time of our verbal arrangement; I would think about him consistently and begin to prepare for our next meeting. My love for him kept me in a constant state of excitement, in hope for the next time I saw him. Even when I was alone, I would have imaginary conversations of love with him. I could live this way because he became the seed of love in my heart that led me to love him. But the love relationship that I had with this man whom I never know made me into another character. Realistically I did not know him. I was in love with love. I occupied myself waiting for and on him, being happy only when I was with him because that was when the feeling of love was the most intense in my heart. Now let me turn back to my eternal love relationship with the Lord. When I loved one man, it seemed that human love would last forever. But then suffering in my life began and I realized that human love is not true love. Human love is finite. Humans hunger for human love, mistakenly thinking that human love will last forever and complete their human experience. But this is not so and sadly if one experiences the bitter cup of disappointment in human love; he may even take his own life, thinking that there is not anything more to live for beyond human love. One must realize that human love is only a shadow of the eternal love relationship with the Lord. Ones, who have experienced both human love and the love of the Lord, would readily confess that carnal love is really fragile and trite compared to the stable, deep love relationship one can have with the Lord. After experiencing a love relationship with the Lord; one comes to the realization that this world is transitory, that our time in this world is short as compared to God s everlasting world wherein the time is eternal (2CO4:18, 5:1). Through human love the Lord conditioned me to love and then he introduced me to His everlasting love. 260

The Lord gave me tribulations as a first token of His righteous Judgment (2THESS1:4, 5) in order to teach me His true love. There was great conflict within me, which broke down the relationship of love I had with another human. When darkness, called conflict, came between this person and myself; I experienced that the burning of human love gradually cooled. Because the love with another human is not everlasting; it turns into a fog and wind, so that when sufferings increased between us, the love cooled and disappeared. As a result, my heart actually became more empty and lonely than before I met human love. The Lord led me to experience greater emptiness than the barrenness and loneliness I felt before I experienced finite love. I tried various ways but found that nothing could fill my empty heart. The Lord then brought into my life raging wind of bigger tribulations as a second token of righteous judgment. That wind tore apart my heart and He planted the seed of a great pain in it. I would daily go to dawn prayer to try to comfort myself in this pain. But neither the minister s sermon nor my prayers to relieve the pain of my affliction, were any comfort to me. It seemed that this new seed in my heart was conditioning a new reality in me. One day, in my state of continued weeping; the pastor came to me and suggested that I study the Bible. I was unwilling but I agreed to do so; thinking that maybe somewhere in my study of the Bible, I might find a key to cure my heart. And so began my study of the Bible and little by little, as I learned the meaning of the words I read; the Word began to engrave itself into my heart. I continued my study and found to my surprise that the Gospels taught that Jesus was my everlasting bridegroom. I believed those words and began to study the Bible with the focus of finding what my everlasting groom was like. I came to realize, with certainty, that Jesus Christ (1JN5:20), who is everlasting life and the true God is indeed my eternal groom; and in fact, was crucified to marry and live with me forever. Since then, I came to know by experience that the words, which I knew only by knowledge, as the seed of love; were planted in the field of my heart. These seeds of love grew and I began to experience in spirit that the Lord was always with me; and that everything that He allowed to happen to me was actually my preparation to become His everlasting bride. The Lord was no longer knowledge in my heart; he became the reality of experience. One day as I read the Bible, the Lord actually planted love in my heart. Since then, this love, which is seven times stronger than any feeling of love I have felt for a human; started to breathe as life in my spirit. In this way, if the seed of God s love, falls into one s heart; he will fall in love with Jesus in the same way that he fell in love with a human. I wrote this book in the presence of the Lord of love (1THESS5:10) and can therefore share my testimony without any reservation; knowing that the love which the Lord gives is incomparably greater than the love which human gives. 261

He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him (1THESS5:10). Now the Lord of love is always with me. He pours Love into me like both water and fire. I always receive both from the Lord. Therefore I have come to know what kind of love the Lord gives to humans. The Lord has made it clear that only those who love Him completely will join Him as His bride at the wedding banquet (MT22:1-14). Therefore, one has to live according to the Words of the Bible in order to become the bride of the Lord. The Lord made me take up my cross by the Word and has given me many experiences to learn to truly love only the Lord; so that I could participate in the wedding banquet. After the Lord shared this secret with me; He has allowed me to impart to others only the words of living a life of being dressed as the bride is. The Lord has allowed me to help prepare others to learn to eagerly wait for Jesus, their Groom. According to the guidance of the Lord, I communicate to people, who thirst for His love, through preaching and writing; the true meaning of a love relationship with the Lord. This is totally the Lord s blessing which He has given me; and I can unreservedly say that by the grace of God, I am what I am (1CO15:10). Human love is not perfect because it carries with it anxiety, a fear of not meeting another s expectations. But spiritual love with the Lord does not carry this anxiety or fear. The Lord never betrays us; conversely, it is a human, who betrays the Lord. The one who experiences the Lord s love and fellowship is left overwhelmed by the perfection of the Lord. He will not be able to ever love the world or worldly things because loving them will take him away from the Lord and play a big role in making him an enemy of the Lord. I, who came to know the Lord of love, have come to equally know that human love is fragile and transitory. In the wake of its cooling, human love leaves deep crevices of pain in one s heart; pain that never really heals. Therefore, it has taken a long time before I have resolved to guard my heart from carnal human love to concentrate on spiritually loving everyone with the love of the Lord in me. I believe that others in similar circumstances, who have truly met the Lord; have been led by the Lord s wisdom to do likewise. At one time, before I truly experienced the precious love of the Lord; I thought that loving visible things was everything. I would even falsely confess that I actually loved the Lord more than people but that was really not so. Then I came to know the Lord through words and did not love visible things physically (JAMES4:4; 1JN2:15-17); and every second I experienced deep spiritual inward love with the Lord working in me (1THESS5:10). In this way I came to realize that human relationships should be cultivated only in spiritual love in Christ. The Lord is pleased when people love each other spiritually (MT10:37, 19:29; MK10:29, 3 0; LK18:29, 30; 1CO7:7, 8, 26, 33, 34, 40; GAL1:10). I learned 262

through the Words of the Bible, which were confirmed by my living the life of those Words; that the quickest way to love the Lord is not to be bound to the world and worldly things, (JAMES4:4; 1JN2:15-17). In this way, the Lord has given me everlasting love. Humans do not unconditionally love their neighbors. In other word, humans do not love their neighbors without their own interests. However, the Lord loved humans enough to crucify himself to save spirits to eternal Heaven; spirits that Satan would capture so that they would go to hell to suffer forever. The Lord, therefore, gives humans his love, without measure or calculation. The love of the Lord is everlasting, true love (1JN5:8-12), while the love between humans is shadow love in short time in earth. Therefore if one loves like this, then he come to love only the Lord to come and he fixes his eyes on the Lord, who sits on the throne of his heart (HEB12:2); one can love others with the love of the Lord. In this way, he is able to not only love his neighbor, but his enemy, who has hurt him (MT5:44). I wait, with great anticipation to see my Lord, who is coming for His bride. I wait to receive my Lord in reality, as my everlasting groom (LK12:35-37). I fix my eyes on my Lord entirely, even though with a fluttering mind because the winds of my soul are very loud and there are strange clouds and sounds of oncoming tribulation. The Lord pours on me infinite love. If one wholeheartedly loves only the Lord; the Lord will pour love on him like an overflowing waterfall. The one, who loves only the Lord, does not entangle himself in the difficulty of carnal love between humans. The one, who has met the Lord, will give up everything in order to love only the Lord (LK14:33). Therefore, the truth of the Lord sets him free (JN8:31, 32). He allows humans to experience His love and gives them Heaven to live eternally as their inheritance (JAMES1:12, 2:5). So, the one, who truly loves only the Lord, must give up human, carnal love; for to be truly saved and to enter the wedding banquet; one must give up carnal love and stand on the side of the Lord, loving only the Lord. Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him (JAMES1:12). Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the Kingdom he promised those who love him (JAMES2:5)? The one, who has learned this secret through the Bible, will be the one, who gives up all visible things, in order to love only the Lord. If one does not give up all visible things; he will stand before the Lord as a man, who does not know the love of the Lord on the day of Judgment (MT7:23). 263

Before these stern words of the Lord; I, who determined to love only the Lord, will give all my power to the Lord to love humans only with his love (1CO7:7, 8, 25, 26, 32, 34, 40). Even at this moment, I, who has met the Lord and has a love relationship with him, wait eagerly and longingly for his return. Every moment I feel the breath of his love in my heart and keep waiting eagerly for his coming. I, who met the Lord of love, am living in this life pining only for his coming (IS25:9; DA12:12; ZEP3:8; LK12:35-38, 23:51; PHIL3:20; 2TIM4:8; TIT2:13; HEB9:28; 2PET3:11-14; REV22:20). The one, who loves a human physically and does not love spiritually will never receive this kind of love from the Lord. Therefore, the one, who is bound to the love of the flesh of a human cannot be longing eagerly for the Lord (2PET3:12; 2TIM4:8). This is because the power to love the Lord comes from the Lord, who sits on the throne as master. It is He, who gives one the power, to keep His commandments and to love Him back (JN14:21, 23; 1JN5:3). I always praise the Lord, who sends me His token of righteous judgment through tribulations. If He did not give me tokens of His righteous judgment (2THESS1:5); I might still be tied up with physical finite love and would not be able to meet the Lord, who is everlasting true love. I might still love the world and not be qualified to receive the power of love from the Lord; consequently not be able to love Him as I have learned to do. If I had not met the Lord of love, I would be intoxicated with darkness, which would make me walk into the perishing way by loving only worldly things. If the Lord did not deliver me from that physical, carnal life; it is obvious that I would one day greet the Lord like a thief, resulting in getting the fire of God s wrath as another earth inhabitant (REV8:13, 12:12), who will be eternally woeful. However, the Lord showed me mercy as one, who was once on the perishing road. He gave me tokens of His righteous judgment and saved me into his arms. What I now strive to do is not to love the world and worldly things, so that I do not make an enemy of God. The one, who loves the world, cannot love the Lord. Therefore, one must not love the world or worldly things. He must throw away all his belongings so that he is a man left with only one desire; and that is to qualify to enter the wedding banquet to meet his everlasting groom, Jesus Christ (LK14:33; 1JN2:15-17). In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple (Only a disciple follows Heaven, so he will get salvation) (LK14:33). Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever (One should not love the world and worldly things so that he will go to Heaven to rest forever. To live this kind of life in this world; is to do the will of God) (1JN2:15-17). 264

Like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. The one, who is to be a citizen of Heaven, must wait for his Savior, Jesus Christ; who is also our groom, who is coming soon. The one, who is to be a citizen of Heaven must be alert and ready to open the door to Him. But our citizenship is in Heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ (PHIL3:20). The one, who is preparing to go to Heaven soon does not put any meaning to earthly things. He is satisfied with living a simple life, owning little, if anything (1TI6:8). God says through His Word that the dress code of going back to His everlasting house is to live life on earth as a stranger and that one should travel light (1PET2:11). But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that (1TI6:8). Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul (This means to cut off the desires which Satan gives in order to make one love the world and worldly things ; and therefore, not being saved) (1PET2:11). In these days, one can know through the many signs happening in Heaven and Earth that the Lord is coming soon as judge (LK21:11). Through these signs we see that the coming of Jesus is very soon. What a believer of God has to do is to remove from his heart his desire to love the world and worldly things so that he could welcome the Lord, who is coming soon. Then he will qualify to participate in the wedding banquet, meeting his groom, the Lord Jesus Christ, in a garment that is spotless and without shame; as one, who hopes for a new Heaven and earth, for the holy temple, the new Jerusalem (2PET3:13,14). But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new Heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him (2PET3:13, 14). My life belongs to the Lord. I am the possession of the Lord. Therefore, I have to love only the Lord with my whole soul: thoughts, emotions and will (MT22:37). Living this way is the first commandment and order; and the second commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. In order to love our neighbors, we have to receive the power of love that the Lord pours into our hearts (1CO1:24). This love from the Lord leads one to love his neighbor as himself (MT22:39). With human power, we cannot love our neighbor as ourselves. The one, who does not keep the first commandment, will not be able to keep the second one either. 265

The one, who does not keep God s commandments, will not enter Heaven. If one does not keep God s commandments (1JN2:4); that one is out of Truth, out of the Lord (JN14:6). Following this reasoning to its logical conclusion; the one, who is out of Truth; namely, out of the Lord, has no salvation. The man who says, I know him, but does not do what the Word of God commands, is a liar and the Truth is not in him (1JN2:4). The Lord tells us that we must love our neighbors according to the law of God (MT7:21-27). Therefore, the one, who loves only through physical, human love, will not have a love relationship with the Lord; for he does not know how to love the Lord (MT7:23). If he fails to make a love relationship with the Lord; he will not be able to receive the inheritance from Heaven, which the Lord gives. These results will come forth on Judgment day and those results will result in much misery for many believers. One must therefore, stop being drunk with physical love, which is the human way; but prepare to make a perfect love relationship with the Lord, which is exponentially greater than human love. If this one does not take these words seriously, he will receive God s judgment of fire and burn like chaff on the Lord s day of Judgment. As well, this one will not receive the power of love from God when spiritual famine comes to the world. Therefore, those to be saved must love the Lord only with their whole souls (MT22:37). The Bible tells us accurately about the way to love only the Lord. He, who is provided with the love of the Lord, will, in return, only love the Lord; for the power of the Lord s love will be in him. The one, who serves God as master will become His servant because the servant of love will receive in his heart, the fullness of the love of his master, the Lord. The one, who has received the Lord of love, keeps the door of his heart open so that conversation between the Lord and his heart never, even for a moment, ceases.. As I mentioned earlier, if one falls in love with a human, that one is anxious to talk to the one, whom he loves. How much more would one want to talk with the Lord, who is perfect love? Indeed the door of his heart would never close to the Lord, who is everlasting love and savior of sinners. If one loves the Lord, it would be one s pleasure to continually converse with Him. Equally it would be one s pleasure to speak to others about the love of the Lord so his mouth will always be open, either talking to the Lord or sharing with others about the Lord. By the grace of God, I hear the voice of the Lord continually in my heart. The Lord expresses his love to me with a sound that resonates of everlasting love in magnified numbers. His love is so far beyond the voice of human love that there is no point of comparison, apart from human love being only a mere shadow of the Lord s love. 266

The true voice of the love of the Lord has the power to cover a multitude of sins. If one were to hear the voice of the love of the Lord only once; he would enter into a peace and a rest, regardless of the tribulation that knocks on his door. The one, who makes the perfect love of the Lord in this way, because he has no fear at the Judgment day, will receive his eternal inheritance of Heaven (1JN4:17,18; REV21:8). The one, who receives the Lord in spirit (GAL2:20), cannot love this world and worldly things. The one, who has the Kingdom of God in spirit (LK17:20, 21) loves the Lord only, who is love (1JN4:8, 16). That one will eagerly wait every second of his days left on earth for the Lord, his groom, who will come back from the wedding house. When one experiences the love of the Lord; he will eagerly wait for him because the love shared between them is deep and well established. Before I met the Lord, I loved a human so much that I would wait, with anticipation, for our meeting times. But now because the subject of love is the Lord; I wait eagerly for my Groom, Jesus, who will take me to the wedding banquet as I watch and wait for him to appear (MK13:35, 36; LK12:38, 40). Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping (MK13:35, 36). It will be good (eternal life: PS133:3) for those servants whose master finds them ready ( Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him ), even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him (LK12:38, 40). MT24:3 tells us that the coming of the Son of Man is at the end of the world. The day of the coming of the Son of Man is the end of the world; that is, the time when the heavens and earth will perish (MT24:35-37). Only the Father knows the time when the heavens and earth will perish (MT24:36). We know only that it is the time when the Son of Man comes. It is the time that the Son of Man, namely the Lord, as judge, sends out harvest workers for the end time harvest (MT3:12, 13:29-50, 24:31); the Lord will divide the wheat from the chaff, then confine the wheat to the Heaven and confine the chaff to an unquenchable fire pond. If the Lord judges in that way, it says in 1JN2:17 that the world will disappear, for there is no reason for its existence anymore. The world and its desires pass away (Greek: paravgw: disappear), but the man who does the will of God lives forever (one who lives as God's will: MT7:21: will live together with God in Heaven forever) (1JN2:17). 267

One, who lives by the words of MT7:21 and 1JN2:17 will have his lamp burning brightly (PS119:105), without any fear; for he lives only to make a perfect love relationship with the Lord. This one will enter the wedding banquet on the last day, which is the day of the Lord s harvest time (MT13:39-42, 49, 50, 24:3) as one, who has no fear. However, the one, who does not make a perfect love relationship with the Lord; will be under God s hand of punishment, as one, who fears when the Lord winnows on Judgment day, for that one s lamp is not turned on brightly (MT3:12). In REV21:8 the Lord strictly warns that the cowardly one will go into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The one, who does not live a life of keeping his lamp brightly lit, will not be able to enter the wedding banquet, if the Words of REV22:20 Yes, I am coming soon is fulfilled before he changes. If he does not live as a man who is waiting to open the door immediately, he will not enter the wedding banquet when the Lord who is master, knocks the door after coming back from the wedding banquet (LK12:36). The Lord emphasizes in MT 22:13, 14 that the one, who cannot enter the wedding banquet, will be tied hand and foot, and be thrown outside into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The one, who does not light his lamp now, will welcome the Lord, who is judge, as a thief on Judgment day (REV3:3). If he receives the Lord like a thief, he will receive the punishment of being thrown into the second death, into an unquenchable sulfur pond. As a result, he will feel the pain of being burned and weep in regret forever (REV20:14, 15; MT13:49, 50). Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire (REV20:14, 15). His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire (MT3:12). Friend, he asked, how did you get in here without wedding clothes? The man was speechless. Then the king told the attendants, Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (MT22:12, 13). This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (MT13:49, 50). 268
