2 The Popular View According the Media, nobody is ever going to Hell. Many believe that all good people will go to Heaven. But almost no one believes these days that anyone is going to Hell. Have you noticed?

3 Do we still believe that there are only TWO destinations for ALL of mankind? Do WE still Believe? Do we still believe that the unsaved will be Lost forever in a Fiery Hell?

4 Do WE still Believe? Matt 18:11 - "For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. Mark 16:16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

5 Do WE still Believe? Matt 10:28 - "And do not fear those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

6 Universalism Many, if not all, people will ultimately be saved. All sincere people, no matter their religion, will go to heaven.

7 Honestly Do we really believe that our good neighbor is going to Hell?

8 Rich Young Ruler Luke 18:19 - And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. Now he may have just been asking- DO you see ME as being GOD S SON... but He definitely was saying- NO man is good no man is without sin.

9 ALL ARE LOST No Exceptions "There is none righteous, not even one; Rom 3:10 1 Cor 6:9a states- The unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God?

10 ALL ARE LOST No Exceptions Those who have never obeyed the Gospel - Eph 2:1 ARE dead in their trespasses and sins. 1 Jn 1:10 (if someone tries to say they are the exception)- {they} make God a liar, and His Word is not in {them}.

11 Jesus spoke of... The Lostness Of The Lost The reality of Hell Mt 10:28; 13:41-43,49-50 How few will be Saved Mt 7:13-14 How many Religious will be Lost Mt 7:21-23 The need to Believe in Him Jn 8:24 How He is the Only Way to God Jn 14:6 Jesus believed in The Lostness Of The Lost Matthew 18:10

The Lostness Of The Lost Judgment, need to Repent Acts 17:30-31 God s wrath, need for Mercy Rom 2:4-11 The coming Day of the Lord 2 Pet 3:7-14 Vengeance and Destruction 2 Thes 1:7-9 The Lake of Fire and Brimstone Rev 21:8 The apostles believed in The Lostness Of The Lost Romans 9:1-3; 10:1-4

13 Fair or Not? We all want to be fair, gracious, and loving Well which is more gracious, loving or fair? Telling someone the Truth regarding the Gospel? [Or] Allowing someone to die LOST?

14 Sermon on the Mount Jesus spoke of the reality of Hell - Mt 5:22,29-30 He warned that few will find the Way that leads to life - Mt 7:13-14 He said many Religious people who believe in Him will find themselves Lost- Mt 7:21-23 Did Jesus not LOVE His audience? Did Jesus not teach that most, even of the religious, would be LOST?

15 The Parables Stumbling blocks and those who commit lawlessness in His Kingdom will still be Lost - Mt 13:41-43 Separation of the wicked from the righteous at the end of the age - Mt 13:49-{The wicked being} cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

16 Great Commission Commanded His Apostles to Teach, Baptized and Teach of Salvation and condemnation Matt 28:18-20 Required that Repentance be preached in His name to all Lk. 24:46-47 Why give such a charge, unless Jesus believed in "The Lostness of The Lost"?

17 Peter Pet 3:7-12 But the present heavens and earth by His word are being reserved for fire, kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But do not let this one {fact} escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (Patience)

18 Peter 9 2 Pet 3:7-12 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, NOT WISHING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH but for ALL to come to REPENTANCE. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.

19 Peter 2 Pet 3: Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God, on account of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!

20 Paul 2 Thes 1:7-9 when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, 8 9 dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.

21 John 1 Jn 1: And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it. For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ {as} coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

22 John 1 Jn 1: Watch yourselves, that you might not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward. Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.

23 Please Understand GOD WILLS that NONE should perish, but for ALL to come to repentance. 2 Pet.3:9 1 Tim 2:3-4 God our Savior, [who] desires ALL men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

24 Please Understand Rom 5:8 - [But] God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us {All}. 1 Pet 3:18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, {the} just for {the} unjust, in order that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit.

25 Taking Salvation Seriously 1 Cor 9:27 I buffet my body and make it my slave, lest possibly, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified. Phil 2:12 - So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling

26 The Lostness Of The Lost If we believe... In the reality of Hell That many souls will be Lost That many good people will be Lost Then let us Demonstrate our Faith A strong concern for the lost Manifested by personal evangelism

27 In Conclusion Certainly the Gospel of Christ is not all "fire, hell, an damnation"...you KNOW THAT. It is Good News of God's Grace, Love, and Mercy to sinners - 1 Tim 2:3-6 Whatever delay there may seem to be regarding the Lord's return is due to God's GRACE and His desire that all be saved 2 Pet 3:9. We ve established that as well.

28 The Lostness Of The Lost But neither is the Gospel of Christ a doctrine of universal salvation... In which an impotent God accepts everyone as they are with no need to Repent; no need to be Baptized; no need to Share the Gospel of our Salvation with others. We need to be moved not only by the Love of Christ, but also by a proper understanding of "The Lostness Of The Lost"...

29 In Conclusion "For we must ALL appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one of us may receive the things done in the body, according to what he [or she] has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men 2 Cor. 5:10-11a

30 That s Fair. That s True. That s what God wants us ALL to understand.
