VII. THE END TIMES A. Jesus Christ will return from Heaven as He promised, the dead will be resurrected, and the whole world will be judged, all at God's appointed time. (Psa 96:13) before Jehovah; for He comes; for He comes to judge the earth; He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His faithfulness. (Dan 7:9-14) I was seeing until the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of Days sat, whose robe was white as snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was like flames of fire, its wheels like burning fire. A stream of fire came out and flowed from before Him. A thousand thousands served Him, and a myriad myriads stood before Him. The Judge sat, and the books were opened. Then I was looking for the sound of the great words which the horn spoke. I was seeing until the beast was killed, and his body was destroyed and given to the burning of the fire. And the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away. Yet length of life was given them for a season and a time. I was looking in the visions of the night. And behold! One like the Son of Man was coming with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him. And dominion was given to Him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. (Dan 12:1-2) And at that time, Michael shall stand up, the great Ruler who stands for the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress, such as has not been from the being of a nation until that time. And at that time, your people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the Book. And many of the sleeping ones in the dust of the ground shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and to everlasting abhorrence. (Mat 16:27) For the Son of Man is about to come with His angels in the glory of His Father. And then He will give reward to each according to his practice. (Mat 25:31) But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. And before Him shall be gathered all the nations; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And indeed He will set the sheep at His right, but the goats at the left hand. Then the King will say to those at His right, Come, the ones blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I hungered, and you gave Me food to eat; I thirsted, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you gathered Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you came to see Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. Then the righteous ones will answer, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungering, and we fed You; or thirsting, and we gave You drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and gathered You in; or naked, and clothed You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? And answering, the King will say to them, Truly I say to you, In so far as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me. Then He will also say to those at the left, Go away from Me, the ones cursed, into the everlasting fire having been prepared for the devil and his angels. For I hungered, and you did not give Me a thing to eat. I thirsted and you did not give Me a thing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not gather Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not come to see Me. Then they also will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to You? Then He will answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, In as much as you did not do it to one of these, the least, neither did you do it to Me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous ones into everlasting life. (Mar 4:22) For not anything is hidden but that it will be revealed, nor anything become covered

but that it will come to light. (Mar 13:24-27 ) But in those days, after that affliction, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light; and the stars of the heaven will be falling, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with much power and glory. And then He will send His angels and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the end of earth to the end of the heaven. (Joh 5:28-29) Marvel not at this, for an hour is coming in which all those in the tombs will hear His voice. And will come out, the ones having done good things, into a resurrection of life; and the ones having practiced evil things into a resurrection of judgment. (Act 1:11) who also said, Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking up to the heaven? This Jesus, the One being taken from you into the heaven, will come in the way you saw Him going into the heaven. (Act 17:31) because He set a day in which He is going to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness, by a Man whom He appointed; having offered faith to all, having raised Him up from the dead. (Act 24:15) having hope toward God, which these themselves also are awaiting, of a resurrection being about to be of the dead, both of just and unjust ones. (1Co 15:23-25) But each one in his own order: Christ, the firstfruit; afterward the ones of Christ in His coming. Then is the end, whenever He gives over the kingdom to God, even the Father, whenever He causes to cease all rule and all authority and power. For it is right for Him to reign until He puts all the hostile ones under His feet; (2Co 5:10) For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to what he did, whether good or bad. (1Th 4:15-17) For we say this to you in the Word of the Lord, that we the living who remain to the coming of the Lord will not at all go before the ones having fallen asleep. Because the Lord Himself shall come down from Heaven with a commanding shout of an archangel s voice, and with God s trumpet. And the dead ones in Christ will rise again first. Then we who remain alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to a meeting with the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. (2Th 1:7-10) and to give you, the ones being afflicted, rest with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with angels of His power, in flaming fire giving full vengeance to the ones not knowing God, and to the ones not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of His strength, when He comes to be glorified in His saints, and to be marveled at among all the ones having believed in that Day, because our testimony to you was believed. (2Ti 4:1) Therefore, I solemnly witness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, He being about to judge the living and dead at His appearance and His kingdom: (Heb 9:27-28) And as much as it is reserved to men once to die, and after this, Judgment; so Christ having been once offered to bear the sins of many, Christ shall appear a second time without sin to the ones eagerly awaiting Him unto salvation. (2Pe 3:10-12) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and being burning up the elements will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be burned up. Therefore, all these things being about to be dissolved, of what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of

God, through which the heavens being set on fire will be dissolved; and the elements being burned up? (Rev 1:7-8) Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, and those who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will wail on account of Him. Yes, Amen. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, the One being, and the One who was, and the One coming, the Almighty. (Rev 20:11-13) And I saw a great white throne, and the One sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled; and a place was not found for them. And I saw the dead ones, the small ones and the great ones, standing before God. And books were opened. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead ones were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead ones, the ones in it. And death and hell gave up the dead ones, the ones in them. And they were each one judged according to their works. B. All for whom Jesus Christ did not die will live eternally in the pit of Hell and will be eternally tormented for their sins. Souls who are tormented in the next life will never suffer enough to even begin to pay for as much as one sin. Scripture rejects the lie that souls in Hell cease to exist or cease to be tormented, as this is a denial that offending the infinitely holy God is an infinite crime deserving of an infinite punishment. Scripture also rejects the lie of Purgatory as well as the lie that those who perish denying the doctrines of the gospel will finally accept them in heaven. (Deu 32:22) For a fire has been kindled in My anger, and it burns to the lowest Sheol, and consumes the earth and its produce; and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains. (Deu 32:41) If I have sharpened My glittering sword, and My hand lays hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to My adversaries, and I will repay those who hate Me. (Psa 9:17) The wicked ones shall be turned to Sheol, all the nations forgetting God. (Pro 27:20) Sheol and destruction are not satisfied, and the eyes of man are not satisfied. (Isa 33:14) The sinners of Zion are afraid; terror has seized profane ones; who of us shall abide with consuming fire? Who of us shall abide with burnings forever? (Dan 12:2) And many of the sleeping ones in the dust of the ground shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and to everlasting abhorrence. (Mat 3:12) whose fan is in His hand, and He will cleanse His threshing-floor and will gather His wheat into the storehouse. But He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. (Mat 5:22) But I say to you, Everyone who is angry with his brother without cause shall be liable to the Judgment. And whoever says to his brother, Raca, shall be liable to the sanhedrin; but whoever says, Fool! shall be liable to be thrown into the fire of Hell. (Mat 7:21-23) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, the ones working lawlessness! (Mat 10:28) And you should not fear the ones killing the body, but not being able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him, the One being able to destroy both soul and body in Hell. (Mat 11:22-24) But I say to you, It shall be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of

judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, who have been exalted to the heaven, you will be thrown down to Hades. For if the powerful acts happening in you had taken place in Sodom, it would remain until today. But I say to you, It will be more bearable for the land of Sodom the day of judgment than for you. (Mat 13:41-42) The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the stumbling blocks, and those who practice lawlessness. And they will throw them into the furnace of fire; there will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth. (Mat 25:30) And throw the worthless slave out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth. (Mat 25:46) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous ones into everlasting life. (Mar 9:42-48) And whoever causes one of these little ones that believe into Me to stumble, it is good for him if rather a millstone be laid about his neck, and he be thrown into the sea. And if your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. For it is profitable for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go away into Hell, into the unquenchable fire, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched. And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off, for it is profitable for you to enter into life lame, than having two feet to be thrown into Hell, into the unquenchable fire, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched. And if your eye causes you to stumble, cast it out. For it is profitable for you to enter into the kingdom of God one-eyed, than having two eyes to be thrown into the Hell of fire, where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched. (Luk 16:23-24) And being in torments in hell, lifting up his eyes, he sees Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom. And calling he said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame. (Luk 16:26) And besides all these things, a great chasm has been fixed between us and you, so that those desiring to pass from here to you are not able, nor can they pass from there to us. (Joh 3:36) The one believing into the Son has everlasting life; but the one disobeying the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (Joh 10:11) I am the Good Shepherd! The Good Shepherd lays down His life on behalf of the sheep. (Joh 10:26) But you do not believe, for you are not of My sheep, even as I said to you. (Joh 12:48) The one who rejects Me and does not receive My words has the one judging him: the Word which I spoke, that will judge him in the last Day. (Rom 2:5-9) But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, you are treasuring up to yourself wrath in the day of wrath, and revelation of a righteous judgment of God. who will give to each according to his works : truly to the ones who with patience in good work seeking glory and honor and incorruptibility and everlasting life; but to the ones truly disobeying the truth out of self-seeking, but obeying unrighteousness, will be anger and wrath, trouble and distress on every soul of man fully working evil, both of Jew firstly, and of Greek. (Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Gal 3:10) For as many as are out of works of Law, these are under a curse. For it is writ- ten, Accursed is everyone who does not continue in all the things having been written in the book of

the Law, to do them. (2Th 1:5-9) a clear token of the just judgment of God, for you to be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed suffer; since it is a just thing with God to repay affliction to the ones afflicting you, and to give you, the ones being afflicted, rest with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with angels of His power, in flaming fire giving full vengeance to the ones not knowing God, and to the ones not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of His strength, (Heb 10:26-27) For if we are willfully sinning after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice concerning sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and zealous fire being about to consume the adversaries. (2Pe 3:7) But the heavens and the earth now, being stored up by the same Word, are being kept for fire to a day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. (Jud 1:6-7) And the ones of the angels not having kept their first place, but having left behind their dwellng place, He has kept in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great Day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and those cities around them, in like manner to these, committing fornication, and having gone after other flesh, are set forth an example, undergoing vengeance of everlasting fire. (Rev 14:9-10) And a third angel followed them, saying in a great voice, If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or in his hand, he also shall drink of the wine of the anger of God having been mixed undiluted in the cup of His wrath. And he will be tormented by fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. And the ones worshiping the beast and its image have no rest night and day, even if anyone receives the mark of its name. (Rev 19:2-3) For true and righteous are His judgments, because He judged the great harlot who defiled the earth with her fornication. And He avenged the blood of His slaves out of her hand. And secondly they said, Alleluia! Also her smoke goes up to the ages of the ages. (Rev 20:14-15) And death and hell were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire. C. All for whom Jesus Christ died will live eternally in Heaven in perfect fellowship with God, as He promised them. The final state of the Church will be eternal glory with her King and Husband. He will wipe every tear from her eyes and will entirely remove all indwelling sin from her. She will worship Him in the presence of His visible glory for all eternity. (Psa 49:15) Surely God will redeem my soul from the hand of Sheol, for He will take me. Selah. (Psa 116:8) For You have delivered my soul from death, my eye from tears, my feet from stumbling. (Isa 25:8) He will swallow up death forever! And the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from all faces. And He shall turn aside the reproach of His people from all the earth; for Jehovah has spoken. (Dan 12:2) And many of the sleeping ones in the dust of the ground shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and to everlasting abhorrence. (Mat 19:29) And everyone who left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for the sake of My name, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit

everlasting life. (Mat 25:34) Then the King will say to those at His right, Come, the ones blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. (Mat 25:46) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous ones into everlasting life. (Luk 18:29-30) And He said to them, Truly I say to you, There is no one who has left house, or parents, or brothers, or wife, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive many times more not in this time, not ever, and in the age, the one coming, everlasting life. (Joh 3:15-16) that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but may have everlasting life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (Joh 3:36) The one believing into the Son has everlasting life; but the one disobeying the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (Joh 4:14) but whoever may drink of the water which I will give him will not thirst, not ever! But the water which I will give to him will become a fountain of water in him, springing up into everlasting life. (Joh 6:40) And this is the will of the One having sent Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (Joh 6:47) Truly, truly, I say to you, The one believing into Me has everlasting life. (Joh 6:54) The one eating My flesh and drinking My blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (Joh 10:28) And I give eternal life to them, and they shall not perish to the age, not ever! And not anyone shall snatch them out of My hand. (Joh 14:2-3) In My Father s house are many dwelling places. But if not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you! And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receive you to Myself, that where I am you may be also. (Joh 17:2-3) Even as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, so that to all which You gave to Him, He may give to them everlasting life. And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the One whom You sent. (Rom 2:7) truly to the ones who with patience in good work seeking glory and honor and incorruptibility and everlasting life; (Rom 6:22-23) But now having been set free from sin, and having been enslaved to God, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 8:30) But whom He predestinated, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. (1Co 15:53-54) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal one must put on immortality. But when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal one shall put on immortality, then will come to pass the Word, the one having been written, Death was swallowed up in victory. (Gal 6:8) For the one sowing to his own flesh will reap corruption of the flesh. But the one sowing to the Spirit will reap everlasting life of the Spirit.

(Php 3:20-21) For our citizenship is in Heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform the body of our humiliation, for it to be conformed to His body of glory, according to the working of Him to be able even to subject all things to Himself. (Col 3:4) Whenever Christ our life is revealed, then also you will be revealed with Him in glory. (Tit 1:2) on hope of eternal life which the God who does not lie promised before eternal times, (Tit 2:13) looking for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, (Tit 3:7) that being justified by the grace of that One, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (1Pe 1:4) to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, having been kept in Heaven for you, (2Pe 3:13) But according to His promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. (1Jn 2:25) And this is the promise which He promised us: everlasting life. (1Jn 2:28) And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears we may have confidence, and not be shamed from Him in His coming. (1Jn 3:2) Beloved ones, now we are the children of God, and it was not yet revealed what we shall be. But we know that if He is made visible to us, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is. (Rev 14:1) And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! And with Him were a hundred and forty-four thousands, with the name of His Father having been written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound out of Heaven, as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of great thunder. Also I heard a sound of harpers harping on their harps. And they sing as a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one was able to learn the song if not the hundred and forty-four thousands, the ones being redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones following the Lamb wherever He may go. These were redeemed from among men as a firstfruit to God and to the Lamb. And no guile was found in their mouth, for they are without blemish before the throne of God. (Rev 21:2-4) And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, having been prepared as a bride, having been adorned for her Husband. And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God with men! And He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them as their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall be no longer, nor mourning, nor outcry, nor will there be pain still; for the first things passed away. (Rev 21:22-27) And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, even the Lamb. And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb. And the nations of the ones saved will walk in its light; and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. And its gates may not be shut by day, for no night will be there, not ever! And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. And all profaning may not enter into it, or any making an abomination or a lie; not ever; if not the ones having been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb. (Rev 22:1-5) And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, coming forth out of

the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of its street and of the river, from here and from there, was a tree of life producing twelve fruits: according to one month each yielding its fruit. And the leaves of the tree were for healing of the nations. And every curse will no longer be. And the throne of God and the Lamb will be in it; and His slaves will serve Him. And they will see His face; and His name will be on their foreheads. And night will not be there; and they have no need of a lamp or a light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them. And they shall reign to the ages of the ages.
