2 Friends and Supporters of Welcome Inn: South Oakland Citizens for the Homeless wishes to thank each and every one of you for your generous support of the good work we do together. Your enthusiastic gifts of time, talent, supplies and funding have made this season one that exceeded all hope and expectations. From the provision of life s most basic necessities like food, shelter and clothing; to more advanced services which include an on-staff social worker, onsite recovery programs, medical care and mental-health services, Welcome Inn stands as a beacon of hope to our homeless community members during the hazardous winter months.

3 We cannot do everything and there is a sense of liberation in realizing that. This enables us to do something and do it very well. It may be incomplete, but it is a beginning, a step along the way, an opportunity for God s grace to enter and do the rest. Archbishop O. Romero

Additional thanks go out to Greenfield Presbyterian Church of Berkley for providing our 23-passenger bus, to First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham for use of their bus as backup, and to Starr Presbyterian Church who was our host last season and for providing off-season storage.
