Ray Boltz GROVE CITY, OHIO Life Teen Update On January 6 th Life Teen will kick off the New Year with an Overnight Lock-In. The night begins at 7:00 p.m. and ends Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. There are permission forms on the Life Teen board in the Hallway. Life Teen Retreat Life Teen will be hosting its mostly annual Life Teen retreat on March 3 rd through the 5 th. The retreat will be held at the Damascus Catholic Mission Campus in Centerburg, Ohio. The retreat sign-up sheets are on the Life Teen Board. News from Our Lady School CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS! No School Tuesday, January 3, 2017 SCHOOL RESUMES 7:50 a.m. Reminder: Tuition is due January 5 th. The children of the BB5 home, Our Lady s house in Battambang Cambodia, want to thank the Parish Women s Association, Our Lady School and all of the generous people of this parish that contributed to buying and sending 9 boxes full of Christmas gifts. As you can see from the picture, the children are so happy and excited. They pray for this parish every day and send their Christmas wishes.

2 THE NATIVITY OF THE LORD DECEMBER 25, 2016 Christmas 2016 Dear Parishioners, A Christmas song I have been listening to has these words: I heard the bells on Christmas Day Their old familiar carols play. Wild and sweet, the words repeat. Peace on earth, good will to men, Peace on earth, good will to men. Every time I hear these words I am moved to fervent prayer for the peace our world so desperately needs. The Lord whom we long for, whose coming we prepare for, will be our Prince of Peace! God is faithful to all His promises, God s love and mercy are everlasting. May this holy season renew your hope in the promise of God s peace, even as it challenges each of us to be, ourselves, a gift of peace to others. The Festival Committee coordinates and plans activities with the intent that everyone will have a fun and pleasant experience. In the middle of a lucrative photo shoot, Leah literally saw herself in a spiritual dimension, as God may see her, and became disgusted. She walked off the set, renounced her career and set out to help young people find modesty, chastity and abundant life in Jesus Christ. When Leah renounced her modeling career, her father drove immediately from St. Louis to New York City to pick her up. They ate hotdogs! Today Leah speaks to tens of thousands of young people to urge them to live for eternal values. Leah grew up in a Catholic home, regularly attended Mass and prayed the Rosary. Made for Greatness speaks volumes about eternal happiness and true worth.
