2 Welcome from OUR PRESIDENT It s with great joy and excitement that I welcome you to this year s annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia. Thank you for taking time away from your busy schedule to attend this year s Homecoming. I m praying that you will be richly blessed as you experience this year s program. I want to express my appreciation for Dr. Brian Autry, our SBCV staff and the pastor, staff, and congregation of The Heights Baptist Church for their hard work in helping with this year s meeting. From our Bless Petersburg missions effort to the months of planning they ve invested in our 2017 Homecoming. Their dedication and commitment have already meant more than they know. It has been such a special honor and privilege to have served with you as your convention president for the past two years, and I m so looking forward to how God will continue to use the SBCV in the years ahead!
