Message to the Presbytery: I would like the Presbytery to provide a gathering for the non-parish ministers at least annually, to exchange information and to encourage each other so that everybody can get to know each other and grow a dialogue. Jongmi Bae- No Report Aaron T. Hicks continues to serve with Serge Global International, an interdenominational mission agency with roots in the Reformed/Presbyterian tradition with a job description of cross-cultural evangelist and church planter. The head office is: 101 West Ave Suite 305, Jenkintown, PA ( primary role for the last 9 years or so has been serving as lead pastor/church-planter to a new-church development here in the city of Granada, Spain. In that capacity I believe that I am actively fulfilling the first four criteria (a through d). However, because of working overseas with an international mission, and not being physically present on Long Island, my present ministry does not allow me to participate actively in the presbytery. I maintain a relationship of support and accountability with Mattituck Presbyterian Church and also remain connected ecclesiastically and emotionally to Long Island. Because of living overseas "full-time", I cannot at this time fulfill an active role in presbytery, other than communication about the state of the Church in Spain and regular reports on our mission work by and in person when I return periodically to Long Island, which I hope to do this summer of At the current time, I continuing to serve as lead pastor of a new church development here in Granada called Iglesia Reconciliación. We continue to have a strong relationship with Mattituck Presbyterian Church as our home church, and they continue to support us with their prayers, finances and communication, in conjunction with the Presbytery of Long Island and our mission Serge Global. This year I taught two courses in Church History at the School of Theology here in Granada; however I have not been as active as I would like to be in continuing education and hope to do better with that in the upcoming year of I have been preaching an average of three times a month, leading weekly worship, Sunday school and Bible studies, the elder board, and various administrative tasks. Other ministry activities include: visiting the sick and hospitalized, funerals, volunteering with our food and clothing banks, meeting for discipleship with new believers, and currently serving as President of the province-wide ministerial association called "Granada Evangélica". I enjoy reading books on Spanish culture and history. I also continue to be involved in Spanish two sports clubs: a cycling club and a mountainrunning club. As a family, we enjoy hiking in the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains whenever we can! Message to the Presbytery: Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we proclaim the grace of Jesus Christ here in southern Spain. As I mentioned above, we plan to be back on Long Island this summer of 2019, and hope to connect with many of you then!
