2 July 1 5, 2013ad Five apparitions of the Holy Virgin Mary The Re-consecration of the United States of America At the Moment of Her apparition July 4, 2013 How few understand that we are entering a very dark and dangerous moment for the nation of the United States of America. But it is Our Lady who states: July 25, 1990 Dear children, today I invite you to peace. I have come here as the Queen of Peace We cannot defeat what is heating up at a rapid momentum. We, in fact, are responsible for it by our sins. Neither will one defeat evil by guns, for a people are not so much protected by their armaments as by their way of life. We can only fight back by tears of repentance, frequent confession (minimum once a month), fasting and prayer and consecration. There is no other place more important to be than to attend and to be in Our Lady s presence for five apparitions in the Bedroom of Apparitions and the Field of Apparitions when the re-consecration will take place with thousands of people from all over the nation and other nations as well. No place No where More important to be than here July 1-5, 2013 Consecration July 4, 2013! In hope that we will see you, A Friend of Medjugorje Marija was at Caritas for the Five Days of Prayer, July 1 5, 2009ad. As Marija always does when she comes to Caritas, She asked Our Lady when and where the apparition would be the following day. Our Lady shows by Her varying responses that She is not simply following Marija around from place to place, but that She is actively involved in the events that are taking place in these apparitions at Caritas. On July 2, the apparition was in the Bedroom and Our Lady responded to Marija s question by saying that She would appear during the next night s prayer vigil for our nation s birthday, in the Field at 10:30 p.m. Earlier that day, before the apparition, A Friend of Medjugorje stated in a talk he gave to the crowd attending this special event that nations are made up of families, and the family is made up of individuals, so to 2

3 heal the nations, we must first heal families, which comes through the individual being healed. The consecration of individual hearts was on the day our founder spoke (July 2, 2009). The consecration of our families was the following day, both of which led up to the consecration of the nation on July 4th. The preparation for this consecration began with the Vigil (July 3). A Friend of Medjugorje said that we were shocked when the year before (2008), Our Lady announced that She would appear at 10:00 p.m. on the Vigil. We were then equally surprised this time (July 3, 2009), when She did not choose to appear at 10:00, but rather 10:30 p.m. By this Our Lady showed that She is connected to the purpose of which we have gathered. She has come for our nation, not only for our nation, but for all those around the world who wish to follow these steps in consecrating their own nation, their own beloved homeland, to Our Lady s heart. Marija then shared, You know in one part, one region of Italy, was one beautiful thing. The president of this region (the mayor), he decide to make consecration to Our Lady for all province. It was beautiful. Schools closed. All were invited to go there for apparition. Most important center of this part Our Lady of Sorrows shrine. All bishops and priests were invited to go there. One priest make one special prayer of consecration for all region to heart of Our Lady. And so this man invite me, who is the political head of this region. He said he like to do in this way, when he decide which day. I go ask Our Lady and Our Lady say, Yes, I go. And so Our Lady said yes, so I go. And this people go for Confession and Holy Mass like in Medjugorje: Rosary, moment of apparition, and after Holy Mass. And so Our Lady appeared in this region, he read, he consecrated this first person of this region (the mayor) he consecrated to heart of Our Lady all people, all things. And after Our Lady appeared and She said, You will never ever regret this consecration. Nor will your children ever regret this consecration, nor will your children s children ever regret this consecration, this act of what you do, Our Lady said. And so Our Lady prayed over all people and She watched (looked at) all the people, many people Marija shared this story to demonstrate how strongly Our Lady desires our consecrations, and to encourage us to prepare much in prayer before tomorrow night s special vigil apparition. These next months do not rest, do not stop, let your every action from the moment you wake to the moment you go to sleep be spent in preparing for the most important event for our nation and world, not for this year, but for our age and to have a future. What can you do? You Can Charter Your Own Bus! 1. Book your hotel room immediately. 2. Or, make reservations to camp at Caritas for free We encourage you to charter a bus of your own for the July 1 5, 3. by calling Order this 16-page brochure by the volume and 2013 visit. Look in the Yellow Pages for charter companies in your area. For many who cannot afford to fly, coming by bus is 4. give it out. Mail it to everyone you know. Put up a billboard. Family, Allentown, Pennsylvania 4 July 6, 2009 July 2, 2012 The two sites of the Bedroom and Field of Apparitions, located at Caritas, have been graced by 167 apparitions of the Virgin Mary over the past 25 years, though She has been with the founder s family and the community at other locations bringing the total to 191 apparitions over the years. The 167 apparitions on the sacred ground of Caritas have occurred in 1988, 1989, 1994, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, July/August 2005, November 2005, 2008, February 2009, July 2009, 2011 and This does not include the many times the community has been blessed to have Our Lady in their mission and homes in Medjugorje. The primary site of the apparitions has been in the Bedroom of a consecrated beloved home with 134 apparitions in this room. The Field was consecrated to Our Lady for the conversion of our nation. The two sites are connected in that the Bedroom represents the family, the home, and the Field represents our nation. Nations cannot hope to heal without first healing the family home. In 2009, over 4,000 flowers were arranged in the Bedroom, representing the hearts of people from across the United States & around the world, to show their love and devotion to Our Lady in the last days of Her apparitions to Marija at Caritas. Marija was inspired and some community members joined in to help her form a heart out of roses on top of the Bed that would receive Our Lady.

5 Since 1988 these special events when Our Lady appears to Marija have often attracted tens of thousands of pilgrims to the Bedroom and the Field of Apparitions. People of all classes become the same, on their knees, shoulder to shoulder. The area around Caritas* is so open that crowds do not bother those who would normally be bothered. Rather, the outdoor environment puts you as one of those who followed Jesus in the crowds. A spiritual joy, consolation and an excitement you ve never experienced before, will fill your heart. Countless souls have had their prayers answered or been given a divine peace about their problems by pilgrimaging to the Bedroom and Field of Apparitions. July 7, 2012 In some small way I understand the feeling when Marija speaks of feeling a little bit of Heaven when she is with Our Lady and does not wish to depart from Her but would rather join Her in Heaven. I also feel that way toward Caritas that to return back to my home and the fulfillment of my responsibilities is a penance I gladly accept with joy for Her, but none the less bitter. Praise to Jesus & Mary forever! It will be open for you on scheduled days during July 1 5, 2013, for you to pray there and bring Our Lady your needs for yourself, your marriage, your family or friends, or for healing and to give gratitude. The Bedroom is an extraordinary, special place for the heart. July, 2009 The time I spent at Caritas from July 1-5, was an experience I will never forget. The few minutes spent in the Bedroom of Apparitions was a huge inspiration and a very touching experience...to think I was just a few feet from where Our Lady had appeared to Marija the night before! I felt a little bit of Heaven in my heart. B.C., USA July 4, 2012 Marija Lunetti in ecstasy speaks to the Virgin Mary in the Field of Apparitions, oblivious to those around her. This was the moment of the reconsecration of the USA to Our Lady. All hearts silently were pleading for our nations return to God at this moment. June 14, 2004 As I prayed my intentions in the Bedroom, every wrinkle of tenseness left my face as if it were washed with peace. As I gazed upon the Crucifix from Medjugorje,* I felt something so special Our Lady s Motherly love for Her Son, Her Child, Her Baby. July 3, 2012 A line of people on the front porch of the founders house listen to stories of the apparitions as they wait their turn to pray in the Bedroom of Apparitions. Well over one hundred thousand people have visited the Bedroom of Apparitions. Within these walls, the Holy Virgin Mary has appeared physically to Marija Lunetti, seeing Her as we see another person. Marija can speak to Her, touch Her, and hear Her voice. Our Lady has appeared to her in this same way every day since June 25, Our Lady came to the world as a Mother to heal a broken world, resulting from the family being broken. That is why Our Lady chose the Bedroom, for it is where families are born. Our Lady said She wants the fruits of the family to be seen one day. Annapolis, Missouri July 5, 2012 Our Blessed Mother, looking out over the crowd with such love was so beautiful, and praying over everyone for such a long time was awesome, showing us how much She loves us. What a wonderful grace to receive from the Mother of Jesus. I hope with all my heart the people who were present know how truly blessed they are. M.S., Eagle Lake, Texas 6 * The Crucifix in the Bedroom (pictured on page 4) originated in Medjugorje. It hung on the wall of Fr. Slavko s office during the time the daily apparitions were taking place there. The visionaries would come into the room and kneel before this Crucifix to receive Our Lady. This Crucifix was present in hundreds of apparitions in Medjugorje. In 1988, Fr. Slavko gave this Crucifix to the founder of Caritas as a gift. Profoundly moved by this, our founder brought it to Marija and asked her to pray a prayer over it, that it would be used by Our Lady as a great instrument of conversion for Our Nation. ** Well over 100,000 : Marija has visited 16 times. Many of these events have had well over 10,000 pilgrims attend. In 1999, the five days of prayer with Our Lady brought 40,000 pilgrims, some who stayed for the whole event, and others who were here for various amounts of days. Most all the visitors stand in line for several hours to enter the Bedroom. In addition, the Bedroom has been open for many other spiritual events through Caritas 25 years of history since the first apparitions occurred there.

7 The Field of Apparitions was birthed from the Bedroom. In 1988, thousands began to find their way to Alabama from all corners of this nation, longing to be in Our Lady s presence. The apparitions began in the Bedroom. All could not physically fit in the home where the Bedroom was located, yet the Field enveloped all as a blanket bringing warmth and a feeling of home. As the thousands came, gathering around the home, Our Lady one day said She would appear the next day outside near a pine tree. Many began to gather in the Field who knew nothing of the family that knelt in prayer on the blanket next to them, but they became one under Our Lady s mantle. Our Lady chose Thanksgiving day, November 24, 1988, to appear for the first time to Marija in the Field for all those gathered. She said from this spot, I invite you to live my messages. I am here to help you! I will intercede for you to God for all your intentions. For the visiting people, a visit to the Bedroom and the Field of Apparitions is a rebirth for their spirits a new dawn. Many testify they never experienced anything close to what Our Lady has given in the Bedroom and Field anywhere else and that the grace is renewed, even by just visiting the grounds Our Lady has appeared upon. December 21, 1999 I must say it was the most moving emotional experience of my life I cannot thank you enough for sending out your messages encouraging me, and thousands of others, to come to one of the most important events of my life. Thank you for inviting us into your Field, your homes, and your lives. You have all touched me in a very personal and profound way. F., Diamond Point, New York SPECIAL STATEMENT Medjugorje Status December 1, 2011 A.D. No attempt is intended to pre-empt the Church on the validity of the Medjugorje Apparitions. They are private revelation waiting the Church s final judgment 1. In the interim, these private revelations are allowed by, and for, the faithful to have devotion to and to be spread legally by the Church. Devotion and the propagation of private revelations can be forbidden only if the private revelation is condemned because of anything it contains which contravenes faith and morals according to AAS 58 (1966) 1186 Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Medjugorje has not been condemned nor found to have anything against faith or morals, therefore it is in the grace of the Church to be followed by the faithful. By the rite of Baptism one is commissioned and given the authority to evangelize. By Baptism they share in the priesthood of Christ, in his prophetic and royal mission. 2 One does not need approval to promote or to have devotions to private revelations or to spread them when in conformity to AAS 58 (1966) 1186, as the call to evangelize is given when baptized. Caritas of Birmingham, the Community of Caritas and all associated with it, realize and accept that the final authority regarding the Queen of Peace, Medjugorje and happenings related to the apparitions, rests with the Holy See in Rome. We at Caritas, willingly submit to that judgment. While having an amiable relationship with the Diocese of Birmingham and a friendly relationship with its bishop, Caritas of Birmingham as a lay mission is not officially connected to the Diocese of Birmingham, Alabama, just as is the Knights of Columbus. 3 The Diocese of Birmingham s official position on Caritas is neutral and holds us as Catholics in good standing. 1. The Church does not have to approve the apparitions. The Church can do as She did with the apparitions of Rue du Bac in Paris and the Miraculous Medal. The Church never approved these apparitions. She gave way to the people s widespread acceptance of the Miraculous Medal and thereby the Apparitions to St. Catherine. 2. Catechism of the Catholic Church 2nd Edition. 3. The Knights of Columbus also are not officially under the Church, yet they are very Catholic. The Knights of Columbus was founded as a lay organization 129 years ago, with the basic Catholic beliefs. Each local council appeals to the local Ordinary to be the Chaplain. The Knights of Columbus is still a lay organization, and operates with its own autonomy. International 2013 SJP Lic. 8 July 6, 2012 Having been there for two of the days (July 4th and 5th) I was particularly touched by the fact that no message was given except to bless us. That spoke deeply to my heart since when you are the most comfortable with someone you can be in silence and listening. That simple communion is enough. That spoke to me of a communion already established in the heart where no word needed to be spoken because it was present in the heart. I felt a sweet acknowledgment and appreciation from Her to us and back again. Thank you Caritas for all that you do to make these days possible. The unending water supply was so helpful and of course just being there is such a blessing. Thank you for the quality of time in that place of enriched love. L., Nashville, Tennessee September 10, 2012 I first heard of the July 1-5, 2012 pilgrimage to Caritas when one of your community members wrote a lovely thank you note to me and invited me to come to Alabama for this event. At that time I was bed-ridden with a severe ruptured disc. It was going on two months of pain, etc. When I read the invite, I yearned so very much to go. The thought kept coming to my mind during the day and woke me up at night. I thought, wow, this has never happened to me before, perhaps Our Holy Mother wants me to attend. Then I read in some of your literature that even if it seems impossible, pray for it. So I did. I asked Our Lord Jesus and Mother Mary to help me get to Alabama to be in the very air in which They appear to Marija and bless all that were there. On all accounts, it was just impossible for me to go. I prayed to get well enough and for money to get there. The yearnings and prayers continued. After about a week, I thought I was beginning to feel better! And then to my great surprise a friend gave me the money to go!!!!!!! Wow! Praise God. Then I started getting feelings of elation with fear, elation that I could go and fear that I would have to go (drive) alone. It is 650 miles one way. Our Holy Mother called and I would trust, no matter what. I left Illinois on a Thursday and on Friday my transmission went out near the Tennessee/ Kentucky border. My auto insurance covered the tow and auto rental. Wondrously, I made it on time for all five apparition times! Another Wow!! How great it feels to know that Jesus and His Mother made this possible for me. With all my heart and soul I m grateful. The greatest things which I m grateful for are: the peace and love I received. Also strength to bear up. They are with me still. I m not the same and I didn t want to leave Caritas. So with deepest love and prayers, I thank you all! As Mama Mary said, only in Heaven will we fully understand Her coming and our role in God s plan. The climb to the penitentiary mountain was a great experience, for us, too. You don t know what you are capable of, what are you made of, until you up your commitment. The weather condition was another opportunity for us to pay now rather than later and with interest. It s one of the easiest ways to reach many souls. Put a billboard to work for the Great Evangelization of Our Lady to heal our families and our nation. Take this CD to your nearest FedEx Office (formerly Kinkos) or any other local sign printer to get a variety of July 1 5 signs made. You can make car signs, yard banners, corrugated plastic yard signs, etc. The ideas are limitless. This data CD will contain the Apparitions of Mary July 1 5 Alabama graphics sized to a number of different applications ready for printing at FedEx Office or another printer. Make a sign custom sized to fit in your yard, on your garage, house, a window of your house, or put a large sign on the side of a barn. Find a neighbor who will let you put up a sign if you do not have a barn or shed yourself. 10 Drop Everything! Change your schedule and vacation time. Be at Caritas for an event which very few over the centuries have experienced and all generations who follow us will never have. This generation is the last in man s history to have Our Lady in this way. Do not be turned away from Caritas. Reading the following is a must: Please be advised of the guidelines to visit Caritas. 1. No Immodest Dress 5. No Cameras 2. No Cell Phones 6. No Smoking 3. No Video Cameras 7. No Lounge Chairs/Other Chairs 4. No Gum Chewing 8. No Pets Guidelines to be Allowed on the Grounds. The following modesty rules will be strictly adhered to on the Caritas grounds, including parking areas. All violators will be turned away. No sleeveless or low cut dresses. No sleeveless or low cut shirts, blouses, or sweaters. Dresses and skirts must be below the knee. Only knee-length shorts will be allowed for both men and women. Capris may be worn. No gym shorts or other short clothing. No mid-drifts or clothing that exposes the back or stomach. No see-through clothing or clothing that has inappropriate writing or pictures on it. Casual dress, jeans, etc., is OK. We are speaking about modest dress. Please remember that you will not be going to the beach or out sunning. Dress appropriately for the day in preparation to go before the Holy Event of Our Lady s apparition and other prayer times. Please save yourself the embarrassment of being turned away from the grounds of Caritas because of dress. It is important to inform all, so that no one will have to miss the apparitions. We do not want anyone to miss Our Lady s apparitions to Marija, so repeatedly inform others and help make sure all are informed of this. No video cameras; no cameras, and absolutely no cell phone cameras are allowed. Violations will result in confiscation. You are on the grounds by invitation. Please remember, do not violate other pilgrims and the spirit of what is happening here. This is a serious violation of the spirit and reverence of the event and the grounds here. As a one day exception, and not for the apparition, photos, not videos, and not cell phone cameras, will be allowed on Tuesday, July 2, on the grounds. However, no cameras will be allowed at the time of the apparition even on this one day exception. Please remember this is allowed for your own personal mementos of the pilgrimage. Be discreet and respectful to others, when 10 taking pictures, so as not to disrupt prayers. No lounge chairs, three-legged portable chairs, or similar chairs allowed in the Field. If one must sit, wheelchairs or electric motor chairs are to be used. It is your responsibility to make provisions for wheelchairs. This is a five-day offering of sacrifice, self-denial, and spiritual growth for your soul, not your flesh. As many have testified from their past experiences of the apparitions, the Bedroom, Field, Grotto, and other sites at Caritas, they relay that they were some of the most spiritual, moving, holiest moments they have ever experienced. Cameras, cell phones, etc., are all a distraction which inhibits the grace; the convenience of lounge chairs, etc., blocks sacrifices, which results in a loss of grace one could have received. Prayer is spontaneous and often throughout the day. Gum chewing is extremely irreverent during prayer or in the midst of others who are praying. Gum chewing is not allowed on the grounds. If you see someone doing it, please inform them to stop. Our Lady answers any objections to these rules, to be allowed on the Caritas grounds, by appearing on a rock strewn mountain in Medjugorje which is difficult to walk up, much less sit down comfortably once you are at the apparition site. For a peace-filled five days, please be reminded that Caritas has these guidelines for your benefit. The world may allow these things, but you are entering a world and a life, here at Caritas, created by Our Lady and Her messages. Parking - Anyone parking on the road must be off the white line or police will tow away your car. For safety of pedestrians, there is no parking on the road in front of the Field. Priests - Invite your parish priest. There will be a need to hear Confessions as we have always done in the past in the Field throughout the event. If you are a priest, we make a

11 special invitation for you to come. The event promises a great grace for priests who come and hear Confessions. Priests experience conversion just as you will. Home Schoolers - Notify all home schooling friends, we will open our school during the days of July 1 through July 5. This school, Our Lady of Victory s School, is a community effort, evolved from home schooling, that has inspired other home schoolers with many ideas based on Our Lady s messages. It is always one of the highlights for those who visit here to see Our Lady of Victory s One Room Schoolhouse. Already other schools have been inspired by it. Walkthroughs will be scheduled throughout the 5 days. Evangelize the Apparitions - This material you are reading can be spread by you to promote Our Lady s coming. For the Elderly - In the past, some elderly have paid the way for a friend to accompany and help them. It is a good way to come, and a good way to evangelize the one who is accompanying you, for Our Lady to convert them. So be wise as serpents and innocent as doves, (Matthew 10:16) to convert one who comes to help accompany you. Prayer Groups - Ivan once said that satan hates prayer groups. Come with your whole prayer group to be with Our Lady. With your group being in Our Lady s presence, She not only will bless you during the apparitions, but strengthen your group as well. It is Her desire to foster your prayer group. Our Lady said on September 25, 2000: Renew prayer in your families and form prayer groups. In this way, you will experience joy in prayer and togetherness Rent a van, bus, or meet up separately, whatever is necessary to answer Her call. Free primitive camping in a tent or self-contained camper is available for all who wish to come or who cannot afford to stay in a hotel. Primitive camping means no electricity.
