College of Evangelism The College has now completed a year of operation.

John Frizelle taught Galatians, Lew Meyer taught Homiletics and Cecil Peasley taught Evangelistic Preaching.

OAC with their Beach mission at Kaiteriteri. This was held at Bethany Park, (27th December - 5th of Jan).

There were a lot conversations explaining the Gospel, with two adult decisions for Christ.

2 College of Evangelism The College has now completed a year of operation. This past year has been one of development and has been effective. The 3rd Block course was held in Nelson last November. John Frizelle taught Galatians, Lew Meyer taught Homiletics and Cecil Peasley taught Evangelistic Preaching. This year commences on 2nd March with 1st Block course in Auckland Kaiteriteri Beach Mission Outreach Matthew assisted John Laing of OAC with their Beach mission at Kaiteriteri. This was held at Bethany Park, (27th December - 5th of Jan). This consisted of children s programmes, afternoon outreaches on the streets in Takaka and Motueka. There were a lot conversations explaining the Gospel, with two adult decisions for Christ. Talent quests with a gospel flavour in the evening s at the local camp hall where different team members would give their testimonies or share the Gospel with an illustration. We had lots of support from the management and campers, with four children responding for prayer & counselling for salvation in the morning programme.

3 Nelson A&P Show Evolve Festival This is a New Age festival that we have been going to for the last 6 years. We pitched our tent at Founders Park in Nelson. Saturday was a very busy day with a lot of people coming to chat about Jesus Christ, but Sunday was a quieter day. Thanks to Brian Hurst, Quentin Copland & Ben Robinson who came and shared the gospel with folk. Cecil Peasleys Visit It was great to have my friend Cecil speak at our 3rd Block course here in Nelson. Cecil had just finished 4 weeks ministry with Ivan Grindlay In the Southern part of the South Island. Cecil also had a 6 day outreach at the Richmond Church of Christ with a lot of responses to the gospel message. Cecil is returning in 2019 for ministry in the Waikato area which is being organised by Paul Tabrum of OAC.

4 Matthew to Bali Matthew believes that the Lord would have him go to Bali for 12 months on evangelistic ministry in the prisons and on the streets His commissioning was on 24th Feb and He flies out on the 3rd March Matthew values your prayer support for this venture as we know the Evil one will oppose this. Hold Matthew up physically, mentally and spiritually, that the Lord s will be accomplished for Gods Glory. 5 South Africa John s 2 week visit to South Africa was to primarily spend time with these men, who were a part of the 3 year mentoring programme that concluded 2 years ago and to attend the 3 day conference they held. 7 of the men have continued the programme and developed it more. At the conference there were 19 in attendance with a couple of apologies. I was really encouraged by the growth and enthusiasm of the men. One of the original men has now taken on working 2 days a week with the men Pray for Letson Kammwana. During those 2 weeks I preached 13 times and sat with different men 10 times for an input time and encouragement. (A Great time of blessing). Brian & Laura Hurst s Cayman Islands Ministry Brian is a Trust member & active in the ministry Laura and I managed to get our Good Person Test flip charts operating on 18 different days in Georgetown, Grand Cayman through December and January. Anywhere from 2 to 6 cruise ships would come in most days with anywhere from 3,000 to 18,000 passengers. What a mission field! A local church provided their Street frontage and now they are keen to carry on with the outreach to the ship passengers so we left a copy of flip charts and some tracts with them. Another church also picked up on the enthusiasm and plan to train up their young people to evangelise. Please pray that the Christians in Grand Cayman heed the gospel call to reach this mission field.
