6 DONATIONS FOR REFUGEE SERVICES Each fall the Community Engagement Ministry connects with Refugee Services to request a "needed most" list. In the past, we have collected towels, blankets, coats and diapers. This year, they have requested feminine hygiene products (pads primarily) until they bridge the gap in getting support from the organization, Helping Women Period. Starting on Sunday, December 2 and running through Sunday, December 16, we will be collecting feminine hygiene products in the Northwest entrance. Thank you for your help! THE PEOPLES FORUM The Peoples Forum will not be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Please join us at 9:30 a.m. in the Robertson Room on Sunday, December 2, when The Peoples Forum returns. WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE! Wednesday Night Live! programming will resume on Wednesday, November 28. Join us at 5:30 p.m. for a community meal followed by WNL! programming at 6:30 p.m. CPR/AED/FIRST AID TRAINING The Peoples Church is offering a CPR, Automatic Emergency Defibrillator (AED), and first aid training class FREE to parishioners on Wednesday, November 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Robertson Room. The class will cover first aid basics, infant, adult and child CPR and AED use, opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies, preventing illness and injury and more. Those completing the course will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver card. Space is limited; to register call or Andy Mayville at or amayville@thepeopleschurch.com. WINTER SNOW PANTS & SOCKS COLLECTION Community Engagement is collecting winter snow pants and new socks. Collection boxes for both the snow pants and new socks are located near the welcome desk and also by the church office. DORCAS CIRCLE Dorcas Circle will meet on Tuesday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Robertson Room. Our program will be "Making Your Own Greeting Cards." For more information, contact Phyllis Gaulden SURVEY RESULTS Would you like to know what we learned about our congregation and community through our recent survey? If so, come to the Robertson Room following the 10:30 a.m. service on either November 25 or December 2 (same program each session). Pastor Case will guide us through some of the key findings and respond to questions. Following these sessions, copies of the survey will be available upon request. WPC POINSETTIA & WREATH SALE The Women of Peoples Church annual Christmas poinsettia and wreath sale is going on now! Place your orders each Sunday near the Welcome Desk through December 2, Order pick-up is in the gym on Saturday, December 8, 2018 (after the Advent Tea) and on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. NEW ART EXHIBIT: "TRAVELS WITH CAMERA" Travels with Camera," a new exhibit by photographer and Peoples Church member Nancy Wilson, is now on display throughout the halls bordering the Sanctuary and in the Thomsen case across from the Library. The exhibit includes 28 artistic images from her collection, along with several assorted prints, capturing Nancy's travels throughout the U.S. and internationally. An accompanying display of antique cameras, accessories and photographic materials can be seen in the Kiosk adjacent to the church office. Travels with Camera was installed by members of the Fine Arts Committee. It will be on display through January 17, Pick up a catalog for the exhibit in the NW entrance of the church. JEWELRY SALE DONATIONS The Women of Peoples Church are always collecting donations of jewelry, purses, scarves, puzzles, etc. for their annual jewelry sale in May. If you have any items to donate, please drop off in the church office during normal business hours (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Mon - Fri).

7 EDGEWOOD VILLAGE CHRISTMAS GIFTS You're invited to help the children at Edgewood Village enjoy a wonderful Christmas. On November 18, 25 and December 2, a Christmas tree with gift ideas will be in the Northwest Entrance. Choose an ornament and return the new, unwrapped gift by December 16 so it can be wrapped and delivered before Christmas morning! 8 MSU BRASS HOLIDAY CONCERT Kick off your holiday season with the 2018 MSU Brass Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. This perennial favorite event will feature talented student musicians and their professors from the MSU College of Music. The concert is FREE and will include a tasty selection of Christmas cookies at intermission.
