2 #Discipleship F I N A L E X A M We are so happy because on February the brothers and sisters, in the different communities we have visited at La Sierra Huasteca, finished the first book of their biblical study. Each one of this communities, people pass their exams with excellent grades. On July, we will be starting with the second level of the study; The abundant light T E S T I M O N I E S We believe, because we have heard their testimonies, that our students have experimented a spiritual and personal growing in their lives, which means great news and a huge motivation for us to continue teaching the Word of God in this areas. #Preaching H U I L O T I T L A S C H U R C H In the last days of January, we were invited to preach in a little Church in Huilotitla village, which is 30 minutes away from our home, if we follow the mountain road. This task, particularly, has been a blessing because the brothers and sisters at the church have received us with great joy and acceptance. It's the desire of our hearts that the Lord can uses our lives to transform the place.

3 #Huasteca T H E M I L L I N G In Coacoaco village, at Veracruz State, as in many others, during the first months of the year, starts a very traditional event at the Huasteca: The sugar cane milling. We were invited to participate as observers of the process for 3 students of the seminar: Elidia, Gaby and Berthin. They are amazing!! T H E P R O D U C T I O N To grinding sugar cane, it s necessary the strength of 2 men manipulating a rustic machine called "trapiche", and 2 mules pushing a huge arm of wood that makes rotate the gears of the machine in order to extract the sweet juice of the cane. After that, the juice is boiled to convert it in something we called "piloncillo". T H E F I N I S H I N G T O U C H "Piloncillo" is the solid state of the sugar cane juice, obtained after being boiled at high temperature. Once you did this, it s necessary to put the juice in jars of clay. When the juice is cold and condensed, you have to hit the jars on the floor, to pull it out. Finally, "pilloncillo" bars are wrapped and distributed between the worker's families.

4 #Kikomar T H E N E W C A B I N On March we arrived to Camp Kikomar at Tuxpan, Veracruz to collaborate in the construction of the last cabin for visitors. Canada team in coordination with tens of volunteers, had a 2 weeks term to finish the cabin. It was an exhaustive job but we obtained great fruits of our efforts! Every day, we faced huge challenges, but the Lord was in total control of all and His mercy was tangible step by step. This time also gave us the opportunity to meet awesome, experimented and talented people. Glory to God! for allowed us to be part of this project and contribute on the camp's vision.

5 #Youth FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO THE SEA On April we came back to Camp Kikomar where we took a Counselors Training imparted by Cliff & Joy McCalister and Genaro & Georgina Zaragoza (CCI Latin America/Mexico instructors) It was a blessing! The best part of these days was that young men and women from the Huasteca (that are seminar students) also enjoyed the training, and was a wonderful time to share memorable moments together at the beach. Next August 1st, 2nd and 3rd we will have our 1st Youth Congress at La Sierra, and as part of our project, we will let this young men and ladies be part of the arrangements. #CFCI A N E V E R L A S T I N G C A L L With great joy, we want to share with you, our acceptance as official members of the Mission Christ For the City International (CFCI), based in Omaha, Nebraska USA which we will be visiting on May. We are so excited and expectant about this trip, and the things that surely God will be doing those days. We can feel it will be an incredible time! It is an honor to belong as missionaries at this organization although we are conscious about the huge compromise that involves. But we are confident about the Lord's plans, as they are perfect. He knows best and is the desire of our hearts just being at the center of His will.

6 #The icing on the cake T H E H A P P Y N E W S Last but not least, we want to share with all of you this news that have filled our hearts with the deepest joy we ever felt, WE WILL BE PARENTS!! We are delighted on waiting this little human being, our precious baby!! God is good, always. It's almost unbelievable how just few months ago we were able to listen his/her heart for very first time. Words can barely describe how awesome was that moment, without doubting, was the most incredible instant of our lives The estimated birth date is Nov 2nd. We really appreciate your prayers!! OUR PRAYER REQUESTS: May the Lord give us wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions for the ministry. For every seminary student, may they continue passionately studying the Bible thoroughly. New vision and passion in Pastor's lives and their churches. Protection for our lives, as we live in an intolerant Gospel region. Cintia's health and the healthy growth of our baby. Lord s provision for our needs and ministry.
