2 GROW YOUR OWN MONEY TREE THIS IS MY BANNER YEAR! When I was just a little boy, my dad used to tell me, David, money doesn t grow on trees. But after further Biblical study, he kind of changed his mind. With SEED and TIME eventually, there is a HARVEST. He taught me NOT to focus so much on the fruit (the money) that grew at the top of the tree. Instead, He wanted me to learn how to be independent, plant DEEP roots and grow my own MONEY TREE. know my speaking fee was $1000! Isn t it CRAZY how God always makes a way! So now, I m still just 15, but I ve got over $2000 of seed in the ground. What happened next, was totally MIRACULOUS! A man (that I didn t even know) gave me the money to buy a BRAND NEW 1985 Trans Am. That was the harvest! Just a few weeks earlier, it didn t look like I was ever going to be able to afford a car. SPIRITUALLY FINANCIALLY PHYSICALLY EMOTIONALLY Over the next four Banner Years, God is going to bless me beyond my wildest dreams! Everything I put my hand to is blessed. Success is multiplying in every area of my life. With 20/20 clarity, I will see the fullness of my dream come to pass in the Banner Year of 2020 and it starts RIGHT NOW! I was just 15 years old in 1984, when I sowed my FIRST $1000 worth of seed. (That s equivalent to about $2400 today.) There was a pastor that I really enjoyed listening to, and I felt like God wanted me to support his ministry. A THOUSAND dollars was a pretty tall order for a kid with no job. But, I sent $10 in the mail and wrote an IOU for the remaining $990. Every time I sent him money, I would just mark it off. (It came to about $84 a month or $21 week.) I raked leaves, mowed grass and did other odd jobs until I finally paid it off. Slowly, but surely, I was learning to PLANT and WATER my own money tree. It sure felt good! So, never judge the size of person s HAR- VEST, if you haven t seen the size of the SEED that they ve planted or the ROOT system they ve developed. Many people WANT the harvest, but they never sow any seeds. God gives us seed and shows us exactly how to grow our own money tree. In fact, every NEED that we have is already tied to a SEED that we have. But, instead, we tend to EAT our seed. Many have never broken that $1000 barrier. To others, it may be much more. But in order to reap a bigger harvest, we have to start sowing LARGER, more significant seeds. Before long, I was looking forward to getting my driver s license. But, instead of SAVING for a car, I decided to start BE- LIEVING God for a car. I sowed all my available money toward a second $1000 project at my dad s church. Then, just outof-the-blue, a group in California asked me to speak at their youth rally. Wouldn t you Now s the time to start preparing for our record-breaking BANNER YEARS HAR- VEST! God wants us to grow BIGGER trees, STRONGER trees and even MULTI- PLE trees. Because He knows that we understand what money is for. WE WILL USE IT TO HELP SOMEBODY! LOUIS, MO IS THE MOST DANGEROUS CITY IN THE UNITED STATES 19 Since 2014, the Ferguson area has been badly shaken. But, Ferguson s people are STRONG! The city has rebuilt the physical buildings that were destroyed by looting and rioting, and has worked hard to overcome a reputation of violence that has plagued it for the past 3 years. The spiritual component necessary for true healing is where WE step in. Faith Church is a diverse church. We are a diverse church that follows the teachings of JESUS! God has called US to open a new location in the Ferguson/ Florissant area. (Temporary start-up estimated at $300,000) We believe it s OUR responsibility to share the love of God. Just over a month ago, Faith Church responded to racist protests in Virginia by hosting an event called the Love Riot. This outreach was just the beginning. God has graced and positioned us to speak out against civil injustice and to restore HOPE in communities that are in desperate need of the LOVE of GOD.

From week to week, we hear stories of radical LIFE CHANGE and continue to see God s favor upon this arm of the ministry. One of our newest initiatives at the WPB campus, is the Tuesday night Worship Experience Watch Party. Our church family meets to pray and worship together as they stream the service LIVE from St. Louis. This weekly event has grown tremendously during 2017, and we have already outgrown the space that s available at the current Ministry Center. Going forward, we are searching for a LARGER FACILITY with a meeting space that will seat between people, so that our WPB family can meet comfortably for the mid-week Worship Experience. Also, on the horizon, is the 2018 launch of a totally new SECOND LOCATION in South Florida. (Temporary start-up is estimated at $300,000) We re excited about all that God is doing through our Faith Church team at the current WPB campus, and look forward to continued growth in our Banner Years! 8 PRISON MINISTRY in partnership with KCM Ministries Through our strategic partnership with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, Faith Church supports Mike Barber Ministries, a prison outreach that has been serving the incarcerated for more than 30 years. In the US, there are over 6.8 million people under some form of government supervision, incarceration, parole or probation. We believe that this is a HUGE mission field that needs our attention. We also believe, that no one is too far gone. And as such, we help fund service to the incarcerated community to make a difference in our neighborhoods, cities, states, nation and the world. Without intervention, sadly, too many will re-offend and end up back in the system. The only way to change this, is to spread HOPE that can change, heal, and restore lives through JESUS! Together, we can make a difference. According to CBS News, in May of 2014, incarceration costs $80 billion dollars a year for taxpayers. That s $260 per year, per taxpayer, going straight to pay for incarceration. We can change those numbers. We believe in TRANSFORMATION that will change the incarcerated for life! By supporting KCM and Mike Barber Ministries, together, we ARE making HAITI AMBULANCE Here in the US, it s easy to forget that emergency medical attention is a luxury that not everyone can afford. We re working with our missionaries, on the ground, to provide a fully functional AMBULANCE to the people of Haiti. This ambulance, will be FUL- LY STOCKED with the latest medical equipment and supplies necessary for First Responders. This could mean the difference between life and death. It will cost us $80,000 for the ambulance and $5,000 for medicial supplies. We think that, investing in the health and wholeness of the Hattian people is well WHAT CAN YOU DO? God has called us to positively IMPACT the cities of St. Louis and West Palm Beach. These communities need to encounter the LOVE of Jesus in a radical NEW way. That cannot be accomplished without YOUR help! You are as much a part of this vision as Pastors David and Nicole. Over the next ten weeks, PRAY and ask God what it is that He would have you do. Ask Him about practical ways to handle your finances so that you ll be able to contribute to the VISION of Faith Church. Then, on Sunday, December 10th, turn in your BANNER YEAR ENVELOPE with the money you ve collected. PRACTICAL TIPS Make your own coffee at home. Eat out less often. Skip the theatre and watch a DVD. Clean house and have a garage sale. Save your gas money by carpooling. Take your lunch to work. Forgo your usual hair and nail appointments. Shop at consignment and thrift stores when possible. Make a grocery list and stick to it! Pray about areas where you can find $20, $50, or $300 extra dollars PEOPLE CONNECT. FAMILIES GROW. LIVES ARE CHANGED. a difference! worth it.
