Dismissal P: Go in peace C: Thanks be to God. ************************************************************ Announcements Take Stock - Moving Forward meeting - Our church consultant, Susan Czolgosz, will be here on Tuesday, March 20 th at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Susan will offer an overall assessment of the congregation and shed light on the genesis and nature of conflicts that have interfered with ministry at Our Saviour s. She will also provide specific recommendations for each step of the consultation process that will take place in the coming months. There will be time for questions and discussion. Her written report is available in the back of the church

9 for review prior to the meeting. I hope as many members will be available to attend as possible. Pastor Peter First Communion Classes - The final preparation for First Communion will be preparing and baking bread on Palm Sunday, March 25 th. If you are able to help with this activity, please let Pastor Peter know. First Communion will be received during Easter Sunday worship on April 1 st at 9:15 AM. If you will be out of town that day, please let Pastor Peter know so other arrangements can be made. The Girl Scouts will be serving a taco supper on Wednesday, March 21 st from 4:30-7:00 PM. The cost is $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for ages 5-10, and free for ages 4 & under. The menu consists of: All meat taco or meatless refried beans for Lent topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, sour cream and taco sauces; Dessert will be Bunuelos with sugar & cinnamon; Beverage choices are Sangria, chocolate milk or coffee. Jogging for Jesus - The members of Our Saviour s Lutheran Church Youth Group will be hosting our 2 nd Annual Jogging for Jesus 5K Run 3K Run/Walk. This year s event will be held on Saturday, April am (Race check-in time is 10 10:45) at Our Saviour s Lutheran Church Main Street, Whitehall, WI. This year we are adding the Church Challenge to the event. The $20 registration fee includes: an event t-shirt (if registered by March 28th ), a chance to win local door prizes, and post race refreshments. Proceeds from this event will be used to help Our Saviour s Youth to go to the Youth Gathering in Houston, TX this June. If you have any questions about our group, this fundraiser, or need more registration forms, please feel free to contact Patti Zimmerman at zimmerman@tcc.coop or Easter Flower Orders: We are now taking orders for Easter flowers. Please be sure to order by today, March 18 th to ensure delivery by Easter. They are a wonderful way to remember or honor your loved ones during the Easter season and it also brings a touch of spring into the

Dairyland Conference W-ELCA is sponsoring a Morning of Renewal at Black River Falls Evangelical Lutheran Church on Wed. April 18. All women are welcome. Registration & coffee begins at 8:30 AM & the program begins at 9:30. The speaker will be the very humorous Janet Letnes Martin, the author of several books including Church Basement Ladies. She spoke at our Salad Luncheon last fall and was enjoyed by all. A noon meal will be served. Cost will be $8. Preregistration will be due April 11th.
