Strengthen us to bring forth the fruits of the Spirit, that through life and death we may live in your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. SERMON -The Assembly will please sit- -The Assembly will please stand- CREED We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,

6 eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen. Easter Reception please sign up today to indicate what buffet food item you would be willing to contribute to our table for the Reception to be held following the Easter Vigil on 31 March. We always have a good number of guests that evening and we re hoping to send them off sated! Thank you for your generosity. Also there is a sign up sheet on the lectern in the hall to indicate whether or not you will be present for the dinner (6:15) to precede our Maundy Thursday liturgy on 3/29. We need a count of how many for whom to prepare. Saturday March 24 - some of St Mark's folks have expressed an interest in participating in the Baltimore "March for Our Lives" event. If you'd like to join us contact Teri, Suzi or Shawn and maybe we can coordinate/car pool. This would be instead of the regular Stations on that day. Attention! There will be a Mutual Ministry open meeting Sunday March 18th after Fellowship hour (@12:30); with a particular focus on outreach to lapsed members. Next Sunday a reminder that the Blessing and Distribution of Palms will take place (weather permitting) at Lovely Lane Church beginning at 10:30 AM (not 10:45). All who wish to participate are urged to gather in front of Lovely Lane Church at that hour.
