Pilgrimage to Fatima and Spain Join us on a pilgrimage to Fatima and Spain from October 3-14, 2013 with Spiritual Director Fr. Timothy Campoli. We will visit Avila, Agreda, Zaragoza, Garabandal, and then Santiago de Compostela. We will spend October 13 in Fatima participating in the candle light procession and other anniversary activities. She was born with Bilateral Hemi Facial Micromia with Pierre Robin Sequence, hydrocephalus, cleft palate, hypothyroidism, grade 3 brain bleed, ROP stage 3 and more. The had a tracheotomy up until Sept. of 2012 and still has a G tube. She has had over 17 surgeries and has faced many medical conditions. Sixth Annual Catholic Women s Conference This year the Catholic Women s Conference will gather for their 6 th annual conference on Sat., April 20, at Bellamy School in Chicopee. The keynote speaker will be Father Leo Patalinghug, the author of Grace Before Meals. Recipes and Inspiration for Family Meals and Family Life. Father Patalinghug was born in the Philippines and raised in the Baltimore, MD area. Many people might have seen him on the Food Network when he defeated Bobby Flay in a steak fajita throwdown cooking competition. And he has a cooking show on EWTN. Also featured at the Women s Conference will be Susan Conroy. She worked with Mother Teresa and Missionary of Charities in 1986 and She also was given permission by Mother Teresa to write a book about her experiences called Mother Teresa s Lessons of Love and Secrets of Sanctity. Susan also will speak about the challenges and joys of caring for her aging parents as part of her talk.
