Therefore it is said, "When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men." (in saying, "He ascended," what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is he who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) 4 UPCOMING YOUTH EVENTS Our Metropolis GOYA Basketball Tournament will be held this coming weekend January th, 2015 in Dallas Texas. We have our youth well represented with two Boys teams and a Girls Team. The Sr. Boys and Girls will defend their titles this year and our Jr. Boys will be competing to bring home the championship trophy. Please keep them in your prayers for safe travels and an enjoyable and rewarding tournament. God bless and be with our Youth and their parents and travel safe. Super Bowl Sunday On Sunday, February 1, 2015 team up with our youth to score a SOUPER BOWL victory against hunger! Annual Food Drive to help the needy in our community.
