4 New Channel and Time for the Diocese s Weekly TV Mass In January, the Diocese of Palm Beach changed the station that airs its weekly Sunday morning Mass. The ION TV Network changed its programming on January 1, 2015 and no longer airs our diocesan Mass. The last diocesan Mass Ion TV aired was on December 28, Starting January 4, the diocese's TV Mass started airing on Estrella TV - West Palm Beach, a sister station of WPBF-Channel 25. The Mass now also airs at a new time. 5 FLORIDACatholic Long-Sleeve Relief Drive The purpose of the LSR drive is to collect long-sleeve cotton shirts for men and women who work in the fields. The drive will run Ash Wednesday, Feb. 18, to Holy Thursday, Apr. 2 HOW TO PARTICIPATE Collect clean used or new long-sleeve men s and women s cotton shirts (Smaller sizes especially). Arrange for delivery of the shirts to the closest specified collection/distribution sites. Call drop-off site to set up a time when shirts can be delivered. This 12-week program features weekly 30- minute DVD segments covering topics such as anger, guilt, forgiveness, money, co-parenting, the ex-spouse, annulment, sexuality, spirituality, finding peace, and more. Whether you are recently separated or were divorced ten days ago or ten years ago, the program can offer valuable insight for you. In this National Catholic Sisters Week, we celebrate women religious who consecratetheir lives in poverty, celibacy and obedience. We thank you for their character, courage and commitment to live in solidaritywith those who live in poverty and suffer violence in everyday living. Your love and grace inspire them. Their joy and total generosity inspire us. Together they form a global sisterhood whose network of prayer and ministry call all of us to broader and deeper understanding and communal responsibility for the common good of our Earth community. May their powerful stories ignite the hearts of girls and women today to answer your call to live a life dedicated to the common good through living in community and sharing ministry. May religious life abound in vitality so that the boundless power of your love and care will be known more and more throughout our world.
