HUGH Questions Our staff team spends quite a bit of time each week organizing, editing and building several means of communication so that all will have the opportunity to attend events, know about upcoming vestry and committee meetings, etc. NOTE: all are welcome to attend any of the meetings. Our means of reaching out to you include my announcements on Sunday, details included in the Sunday orders of service (both 8am and 10:30am), our new website, the weekly e-communications news, our daily updates on our All Saints Facebook page, weekly e-blasts that include important events, our Communications Center formally known as the bulletin board- on the north side of the Narthex, the outside glass boards on the front of the church, and the quarterly newsletter mailed to all. However, we have noted that only 40% of the 510 people open the weekly that we send. So to the questions: Did you open this past week s All Saints Weekly E communication? It goes out every Friday. Have you looked at the new All Saints website? Are you and your friends friends on the All Saints Facebook page? Do you remember what the last eblast was about? When is the last time you looked at Communications center? Do you know what is displayed in the outside window boards in front of the church? ECW has adopted a program, sponsored by M25M (Matthew 25 Ministries), of recycling those bottles. Clean bottles with the labels removed are sent to places around the world where they are needed to dispense medicines that would otherwise be wrapped in clothing, paper or other means that would cause the medicines to lose their potency. ECW has learned the M25M is a disaster and international humanitarian organization that collects and distributes the bottles. They have an enormous warehouse located in Blue Ash, Ohio. To find out more about them visit their website at It is important to know that 99% of their donations go to programs and are used where and when needed! In addition to the Bottles, if you would like to donate a small amount that will help defray the costs of shipping the bottles to M25M, contact Roberta Helsom at

5 A READING FROM PAUL S 2nd LETTER TO THE CORINTHIANS 5:16-21 From now on, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once knew Christ from a human point of view, we know him no longer in that way. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us. 7 On Sundays and other Major Feasts there follows, all standing THE NICENE CREED We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. 14 UNITED THANK OFFERING UPDATE! You may have noticed that your little blue boxes are filling up a little faster this year. The reason for that is in commemoration of the 125th Anniversary of UTO, they matched the size of the smaller original box. So in order to raise more funds this year, it is a GREAT IDEA to take a 2nd blue box and fill that one, too! Don t forget to bring them on Palm Sunday, March 20th. MAKING PALM CROSSES FOR PALM SUNDAY SATURDAY, MARCH 19th Join us in a longtime Episcopal tradition of making crosses out of palm for Palm Sunday. We are gathering in the River Room from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, March 19. We'll provide training in the steps to folding the palm fronds into a cross. Young or young at heart, everyone is invited to help. This is a great way to create something and have fellowship together making new friends and greeting those we know. GOOD FRIDAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS OUTREACH ROAD TRIP FRIDAY, MARCH 25, 2016 Father Todd Hoover is organizing a bus trip to All Saints Outreach Projects on Good Friday, March 25, leaving about 9 am from All Saints Episcopal Church and returning by 1 pm. We will begin with a visit to Jubilee Soup Kitchen, Hollywood, and ending at the St. Lawrence Chapel in Pompano Beach. As we progress, we will follow the Stations of the Cross remembering Jesus as he went through His Good Friday.
