1 December 21, 2018 Dear Station Partner, Have you ever experienced a moment where God gave you a tangible invitation to say, yes to Him? Well, Chuck Swindoll s biggest yes moment happened in 1958 while he was serving as a U.S. Marine on the Japanese Island of Okinawa. Chuck was spending some spare time ministering to the local people on the back of a flatbed truck alongside his mentor Bob Newkirk, who asked him if he wanted a deliver a message to those who had gathered. As you probably guessed, without hesitation, Chuck said yes! Later that night Chuck prayed Lord, could it be that this is what you want me to do for the rest of my life? Flash-forward to today and Insight or Living is getting ready to celebrate 40 years of ministry and Chuck s 56 th year of preaching all because of one simple act of obedience! All this to say, we wanted to pause for a moment and say thank you for affirming Chuck s yes through your partnership with Insight for Living. By now, you and your station staff are likely checking off your final to-dos before heading out for a long Christmas weekend.
