1 l. Blair Barnette. declare as follows: Declaration Of Blair Barnette I have personal knowledge of the facts stated below and they are true. Where facts are stated on information and belief, I believe them to be true. lf called upon to testify, I would and could competently testify thereto. I offer this declaration in lieu of live testimony. 1. I am making this Declaration to offer what I witnessed of Laura "Pauley" Perrett's writings about harassment and how to manipulate courts, and about certain statements il Pauley made to the court which I know to be false, and which I believe to be part of the same pattern of harassment I witnessed in her writings. 12 IJ t4 l6 17 l8 2. ln November 04, I visited Francis Shivers at his house on Whitley Terrace. There he told me about discovering the extramarital atfair his wife "Pauley" had with a boy she would only describe as the "pizza boy." He said she was terrified of her sex scandal being exposed and made very frightening threats about what sort of thing she would do if he ever told anybody. He then showed me a script Pauley wrote and explained that Pauley threatened she would do this to him. 21 z) 3. I skimmed through the script called "Star Crazy" a bit. lt was about a female TV star that wants to ruin an innocent guy's life. For example she lies to get a restraining order against him. The female TV star goes so far as to scratch the guy's initials into her own car just so she could call the police on him, and she talks about getting fans willing to kill for stars the way John Hinckley tried to impress Jodie Foster by assassinating President Reagan. lt was creepy to say the least. I

I returned to visit in late December 04 and I started to see first-hand that Pauley seemed to be doing exactly what she threatened by filing for a restraining order against Mr. Shivers, despite her own story that the only time she had seen him in about six months was when she was entering his residence unannounced in the middle of the night.. I also saw her lies to the court about me. In late December 04, Mr. Shivers asked if I could serve Pauley with the divorce papers. He said Pauley was purposely avoiding being served and he was waiting for his attorney to get the information about flights that ll Pauley might be going to meet at LAX. When he got that information I went down and politely served Pauley. l-) T4 lo 11 l t I later recall reading court papers where Pauley lied to the court and said that I stalked her and assaulted her, and that I punched her in the chest and she suffered a sore chest from the attack. Nothing could be further from the truth. Pauley was served, and that is all. lt was photographed and witnessed. lt was at this point I really saw the "Star Crazy" at work, completely lying to a court, falsely accusing me of assault, simply to further her vindictive goals. l9 7. I would like to add that as a 9-11 survivor (l was in the north tower when the first 2l L) plane hit) was deeply insulted and disturbed to see that she reported me to airport security for handing her a "mysterious package." I found it extremely callous and unconscionable to take advantage of the paranoia resulting from the terrorist attacks.a LA and the innocent deaths. In my mind illustrates how manipulative the "Star Crazy" Pauley Perrette really is. a L

3 I I have recently been shown some documents where Pauley is claiming things that I know to be lies because I witnessed them. One thing in particular is that she denied the little stars and happy faces which were in various places around the house. ln her writing, the female TV star lies to get a restraining order as part of her harassment, and because I was a witness to the stars, I know that she is doing exactly what she wrote about in "Star Crazy." t0 ll 9. lt was November ol04 that I witnessed there were little sticky stars, sticky happy faces, and little stars and happy faces in marker in different places. I recall they were in not so obvious places, like on a door frame, and the fridge, and Mr. Shivers' guitar. I actually asked abouthem and Mr. Shivers explained that he and Pauley liked these little decorations and they made them happy IJ I+ 1 l6 10. I can also say that I did not notice a difference on February 12th 06 when I came to help Mr. Shivers move some of his belongings because he was severely incapacitated due to surgery and medication. 11 t t l8 11. lt is also my opinion that Pauley is being untruthful regarding the carpeting the house. As early as November 04 that carpet showed very obviou signs of years of wear and tear, with various liquid stains on it. To be honest I found it to be disgusting At no time did I ever see any "C"'s carved into the walls, either in 04,0, or on February 12th 06, as I'm told Mr Shivers has been accused of doing. I can 24 confidently state that there was nothing carved in the walls in the blatant manner in which I understand Pauley to be describing them. a

4 I 2 J In fact, when I first heard of it my reaction was immediately that she was pulling a "Star Crazy" like Mr. Shivers had feared she would, and it was creepy to remember reading her words abouthe female TV star carving the poor guys initials into her own car so she could call the police on him. 6 '7 8 q 14. I have read some of the death threats online, which have been incited as a direct result of Pauley's words, and the only thing I can conclude is that this is exactly the same as when Pauley wrote "for every Jodie Foster there is a John Hinckley. You just have to find him." l1 t3 1. All of the above leads me to conclude that Pauley Perrette is without a doubt following her writings in "star Crazy", and intends on continuing to stalk and harass Mr. Shivers the same way she wrote about. 1 A IT 16 t I can state from what I have witnessed, that Mr. Shivers' fear for his safety is real and genuine, that it has gone on for over two years, that it has accelerated, and that it is impossible for him to live in peace until Pauley's harassment is stopped. lt is also my opinion that Pauley will not stop her harassment until a court orders her to do so. 2l z) 17. I recall reading through some of her online blog and it was obviou she was still obsessing about him long after the fact, even though I knew firsthand that he had moved on. I hope the court gives him the chance to move on peacefully, and puts an end to the "Star Crazy" Pauley Perrette..A I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the 4
