From the President Dear PAOS Members and Friends: is here! Cooler temperatures, beautiful flowers in bloom, the holidays are close by It is a time of the year that invites us all to reflect on the bounties we have been blessed with and how much we learned from the hardships we have had to endure. We say Thank You to each an every member who has helped us make PAOS such an inviting community and welcome haven to orchid lovers. Who likes Bingo? Well, bring the kids, bring the family. Our next meeting is going to be fun to everyone. Bingo Night at PAOS. Instead of raffle tickets, bring cash to buy bingo cards as many as you want. Here is the fee schedule: One Card $ 3 Three Cards $ 8 Two Cards $ 5 Four Cards $ 10 Winning cards will be collected so they are played only once. The prize, you ask? A beautiful plant! More details about the rules during our meeting. Your refreshments not only give you an extra chance at a new plant, they also showcase our hospitality. Please bring something to share with our guests. And special note about our cover. Jean and Shirley have been welcoming our members and guests for many years. They are the first point of contact to all who come to our events. Peace of mind and dependability are the concepts I associate with them. So, a special thank you to two ladies who are the face of PAOS, Jean and Shirley. Looking forward to seeing all of you at the meeting. Rossy Ochoa President 2
