Introduction Sometimes bad things happen to people because they refuse to change their minds about what they believe to be good and true. How must he have felt when we was told he would be spending the night with lions? Ask the chn if they have ever felt frightened about going somewhere or doing something/ It is at these times that we need to have courage. KS2 Daniel thought that his freedom to pray to God was important enough to risk his life. What is important to people in the world today? Look at recent newspapers to find stories of people who are willing to put themselves in danger for the sake of a cause they believe in.
