how to... resources resources in hand HIStory journal While we want no one excluded because of costs we are suggesting a $5 donation for each journal. They have been designed for use multiple times for up to seven years. reading plan brochure At no cost you may choose to follow along one of three different reading plans as outlined in the HIStory in my life brochures. You may find those at timber lake café, in the foyer or downloadable from our website. CARE sheets study are printed and placed in the foyer for CARE groups, bible fellowship classes or your personal use at home. chronological bible For those that want a chronological Bible in hand, there isn t an esv format, but you might consider a new living translation life application chronological bible. As you read ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand, submit to and embrace how much God loves you, what you need to learn, and how you can bring light to others. Remember that following a reading plan is important for accountability, discipline, and for systematic instruction in God s Word. Ask others in your CARE group or Bible Fellowship class what daily journal What is the Lord saying to you through his word today? There are seven journal pages for each week s reading. You may choose to journal a page for each day or you could use one page per week and use this journal for seven years. Record in your journal the date, a title for your thought and what HIStory today is for you, in you, or through you. How will you live out the lesson He has taught you. Write out a prayer asking God to help you live out what you have daily prayer What things can you praise God for? What things do you need to trust God for today? Where have you experienced answers to prayer? Let these questions help you as you begin your time in prayer. God help me to see my place in YOURstory. Help me to see how you LOVE me and how I can love others. Help me to LEARN, fully understand how you want to work in me, to change me and bring me to realize your purpose in my life. Help me to embrace that purpose and become a LIGHT to those around me.
