It was her opinion that Freddie may only have a few more days to live. She continued to tell Louie that if funeral services are to be held that they will be in Manchester, NH. Only time will tell so please keep Freddie and his wife in your prayers. As soon as I hear any info I will transmit it to you. thanks PSD Ed McCann Brothers, Please pray for the soul of Eileen Mullen Kennedy, wife of GK Geoffrey Kennedy, Suncook Council #4666 and the Kennedy family, as well as sister to Concord Council #112 Brother Knight, Bob Mullen. Membership Forum September 15 Worthy Grand Knights & Council Membership Directors, This is a reminder and an invitaon to each of you to join us, on Saturday, 9/15/18, in Dover, at St Mary's church hall, for a Membership Forum. The gathering will be from 10am - noon me and will be facilitated by Greg Taillon and Mark Messier. We would like as many councils as possible to parcipate, so we can maximize the problems experienced, ideas and soluons to be shared. The Forum will be in two sessions. During the first hour segment, councils will break out in to small groups to develop a list of challenges and concerns, and questions about membership recruiting and retention. From this activity a master list will be compiled by each group. Each group will present their list to everyone. During the second hour suggestions and solution options will be reviewed. This will include customizing action plans for specific councils and current parish challenges. GKs who have had success with specific techniques and processes for recruitment and retention will be asked to share their experiences as well. The hope and intent is to help those who may be struggling or are unsure how to go about recruiting new members in their parishes whether it be planning and executing a membership drive or information night, or talking with the parish priest for support, or whatever the difficulty may be. To all GKs, please send email to Mark Messier if you will attend end this Forum. We would like to know who is coming by no later than Friday, 9/7/18, so we can be sure to have enough space and materials for everyone. Thanks to the Dover council and GK Pat Pilewski and DD Paul Mcmanus for offering to host this Forum. We look forward to seeing everyone there. Thanks Mark Messier State Membership Director District Deputy 13

Faith in Action Message from SD Glenn Camley My Brother Knights, While your Delegates to the Supreme Convention and I, along with our wives, are attending the big event in Baltimore, Maryland, I wanted to send you some additional exciting news to read up on and share with your Brother Knights within your Council's. "Faith In Action" is one of the most exciting initiatives to come out of Supreme, in recent years. In fact, the program, if followed faithfully, will assist you in reaping your greatest rewards. This program, in addition to the energy that we kicked the 2018-2019 fraternal year off on, at our Summer Quarterly Meeting in July, will guide you to great success. In eliminating some Directorships, the Knights of Columbus has allowed for greater strength, in enhancing roles and responsibilities. No loss is experienced, because all of the Chairmanships that existed under Youth and Council Directorships, coordinate and enhance each other, when promoted properly. Together, we will celebrate great success! If you have any questions or need any support, please don't hesitate to reach out to either myself, State Program Director, Bob Jones, or State Training and Development Director, Greg Taillon. Have a great day and we'll see everyone soon. Glenn Glenn P. Camley State Deputy Knights of Columbus New Hampshire State Council 287 Daniel Webster Highway Boscawen, NH 03303 (603)682-5318 cell (603)796-2381 fax

Marian Catholic School Project Marian Devotion for Catholic schools is underway: This past Wednesday Ron Di Stasio and his wife, Mary Ann presented the statues of Our Lady of Fatima to the principals of New Hampshire's catholic schools. This was the meeting with superintendent Dave Thibault to prepare for the start of the school year. Ron spoke about the contribution and involvement of the Knights of Columbus, and Mary Ann highlighted the importance of praying the Rosary to strengthen the family and develop Catholic citizenship. She also stressed the need for Mary as our intercessor with Christ. Superintendent Thibault already has a plan for the principals and teachers for this special devotion. The Bishop most definitely wants Our Lady to travel from home to home. Attached is a group photo of the principals, Superintendent Thibault, his assistant Nancy, and Father Eric Delisle of St. Hedwig's. Fr. Eric blessed all the statues right before they were distributed. Thank you for your donations and a thank you in advance to councils who will donate in the near future. I know this will be a success, and I know Bishop Libasci is very pleased. Peace in Christ Ron
