The Sixth Sunday In Ordinary Time Saturday and Sunday February 10 & 11, 2018 www.stjudecatholic.org February 10-11, 2018 Dear Friends: This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and, thus, the beginning of the Season of Lent. Our schedule of Masses for that day, as well as a reminder about Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent, are listed on the cover of this bulletin. A couple of weeks ago, we offered our 5 nights of Catholic basics, entitled, CATHOLICISM 101. The turnout was tremendous, with almost 200 people participating each night. I want to thank everyone who took part in this first series, as well as our parish office staff for their hard work in helping to prepare the program. We are currently reviewing a list of suggested topics for our next series and will be scheduling those as soon as possible. This Sunday evening, we also resume our college sharing group. This group is for young people of college age, whether currently in college or not. We begin at the rectory at 6:30pm and will conclude no later than 8:30pm. The evenings usually consist of food, conversation, and a brief ending night prayer. Please feel free to join us and to bring a friend. For the purpose of food preparation, it would be helpful to rsvp to fathertreynelson@gmail.com. Have a great week! Sincerely, Fr. Trey Nelson Pastor
