Hebrews 4:12 I can remember a teacher I once had whom we believed had either eyes in the back of her head or ESP. She somehow knew when we would pass notes behind her back. Of course, we didn t count on her having such sharp hearing, nor her vast experience with kids our age. God is, of course, greater than that teacher. He can see into the depths of our hearts and can discern our every thought and intention. His word is alive and active in our lives. Not only does His word show us our sinful nature, it reveals God s salvation plan to us. Thank God, His word has, is, and always will be doing the work He sent it to accomplish.
