Page 5 The Forming of a Jewish Organization in Baguio Bruce Silverman said we had a wonderful get together to begin the process of establishing a Jewish organization here in Baguio. We had a turn-out of 12. Paul M led the meeting with a well composed introduction with the message of Jew's staying cohesive. Bruce took the minutes of the meeting and Paul M took some photos and all attendees contributed opinions and thoughts. Name of organization-. Next meeting a vote will be taken for the official naming. Number of times a month should we meet- Twice a month seemed to be the consensus. One time a month for a official meeting and once a month for a pure social get together. Purim and Hanukkah- Was establish as fun holidays and ones to be celebrated together. High Holidays and more religious holidays options were discussed. Such as coordinating travel plans to the synagogue in Manila. Or for the tradition and heritage with a very modified service, attending The Bagels Boys get together in Angeles City. Some suggested the possibility of members doing services here in Baguio.
