Start a Fire, Chad Mattson, Jonathan Lowry, and Seth Mosley 1. This world can be cold and bitter Feels like we re in the dead of winter Waiting on something better But am I really gonna hide forever Over and over again I hear Your voice in my head Let Your light shine Let Your light shine for all to see Chorus: (And) start a fire in my soul Fan the fl ame and make it grow So there s no doubt or denying Let it burn so brightly That everyone around can see That it s You that it s You that we need Start a fi re in me 2. You only need a spark to start a whole blaze It only takes a little faith Let it start right here in this city So these old walls will never be the same Over and over again I hear Your voice in my head They need to know I need to go Spirit won t You fall on my heart now (chorus 2x) Welcome and Call to Worship This is the day that the Lord has made! We will rejoice and be glad in it! This is a day of new beginnings! This is a time for growing as followers of Jesus. Come; let us prepare ourselves for worship. We give ourselves to this holy work, and we are eager for our holy God to meet us here. Song of Praise Hosanna (Praise Is Rising), Brenton Brown and Paul Baloche 1. Praise is rising Eyes are turning to You We turn to You Hope is stirring Hearts are yearning for You We long for You Pre-Chorus: Cause when we see You We find strength to face the day In Your presence All our fears are washed away (Washed away)

Chorus: Hosanna hosanna You are the God who saves us Worthy of all our praises Hosanna hosanna Come have Your way among us We welcome You here, Lord Jesus 2. Hear the sound of Hearts returning to You We turn to You In Your Kingdom Broken lives are made new You make us new Ending: Hosanna, hosanna (pre-chorus, chorus) Prayer of the Day Kidtalk WORD Reading 2 Corinthians 4:13 5:1 (page 939 in the pew Bible) Gospel Mark 3:20 35 (page 814 in the pew Bible) Sermon Song of the Day Build Your Kingdom Here, Rend Collective 1. Come set Your rule and reign In our hearts again. Increase in us we pray, Unveil why we re made. Come set our hearts ablaze with hope Like wildfi re in our very souls. Holy Spirit, come invade us now. We are Your church, We need Your pow r in us 2. We seek Your kingdom first, We hunger and we thirst, Refuse to waste our lives, For You re our joy and prize. No force of hell can stop Your beauty changing hearts. You made us for much more than this, Awake the kingdom seed in us. Fill us with the strength and love of Christ. We are Your church. We are your hands on earth. (chorus) Apostles Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God s only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucifi ed, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. Prayers of the People Prayer of Confession Patient Lord, you know how we are. We let the frustrations and worries of our lives overwhelm us. Our hearts seem to buckle under the weight of anger and confusion and we turn away from you, certain that you can do nothing to alleviate our trouble. How foolish we are! How faithless we are! Please forgive us. Help us to learn and remember that you are active in our lives, not as a puppet master but as a creative co-worker, seeking healing and hope not only for each of us, but for the whole world. Make us into disciples of peace and compassion. Amen. Words of Forgiveness Let go of your fears and doubts and all that troubles you. Feel God s love wash over you and cleanse you. Hear the Good News: your sins + are forgiven. Be at peace. Amen. Thanks be to God! Peace
