I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may REACH to the end of the earth. Isaiah 49:6b (ESV)

Our Mission Dear Church Family, God has truly blessed us with great ministry facilities as well as prime piece of real estate! We are conveniently located near the intersection of Interstates 15/99 & 86/17 and across the street from an elementary school. God has blessed us with almost 4 acres of land with which to minister to our community. Why would God bless us with such a great location and so much room for growth? Could it be that He trusts us and wants to use us mightily to see hundreds and perhaps thousands come to know his Son, Jesus Christ, in a personal way? I think so! God has given us the mission to make disciples locally and globally, and he has clearly blessed our efforts on this journey. Fifty years ago, our local church caught a glimpse of God s dream to reach more people with the gospel. In 1966 they invested their time, their talents, and some of their treasures to move this church from Corning to where we are today. Our current facility has undergone many changes to accommodate a growing church. In 1999 the gym was built, in 2007 renovations were made to the sanctuary, fellowship hall and office areas, and in 2012 renovations were made to the gym. All of these were done to reach more people with the life altering power of the gospel. As we plan for the future, we celebrate God s recent blessings. In 2016 we have already celebrated 28 baptisms and hope to celebrate more in the near future. Our church has enjoyed sustained average annual growth over the past few years of around 15%. The average sanctuary attendance prior to our second service addition in Sept 2015 was around 250 and since adding the second service it is around 300. We also average around 110 children in our Children s ministries every week. Our acreage is sufficient for our expected growth over the next 10 years but our facilities are already bumping up against typical rules of thumb on how many people can be comfortably accommodated. The facilities quickly reaching maximum capacity currently include restrooms and children s classrooms. If the growth continues we will soon need more parking spaces and sanctuary seating. I am so proud to be your pastor during this exciting time of growth. I am also proud to introduce this Reach Capital Campaign to you. Your participation in the Reach campaign is so important to helping us achieve our mission. The connecting of the church building to the gym as well as the gym expansion ensures our ability to continue to add people to our church who are currently disconnected from a local church. This project sends a message to our community that our congregation wants to provide a place for them to join us. Together, we can reach that goal! Join my family in seeking God s direction for your involvement in taking this next step. Nothing will stretch you and grow your faith like sacrificial giving. Let s do this together and see what God will do in and through us! Together for the Gospel, Pastor Dave Bretch

You have questions? We ve got answers! FAQ s about the REACH project Q: What is the REACH project? A: It is a building project that will address many of the shortcomings and limitations of our current buildings. First, it will connect the main church building to the gymnasium. This will not only ensure that all adults and children will be in the same space, but will also make Sunday mornings flow much more smoothly. It also has the added bonus of giving us more bathrooms, specifically handicap accessible stalls, all under one roof. Secondly, an addition will be added on the far side of the gym giving the church more children and youth classrooms (with connected bathrooms), as well as a new worship space. This will also keep all of the children in one place, making Sunday morning drop off much more effective and easier. Lastly, the current bathrooms will be receiving a much needed update. Q: How much will the project cost? A: Option 1 = $900,000 full expansion Option 2-2 part expansion Phase 1 = $560,000 Phase 2 = $460,000 Total = $1,020,000 Option 1 saves us $120,000 Q: How will we pay for the project? A: The BRAC finance team has developed a preliminary financial analysis to understand the best financing options for the project. A portion (on the order of $200,000) will come from our General Fund without negatively impacting our annual operating budget. Additionally we will undertake a capital campaign with 1-3 year pledges to raise funds to pay for this project. We have also applied for a grant through the Alliance Development Fund to help defray the total project cost, but we will not know until the end of 2016 if or how much we might get through this application. We plan on taking out a loan to pay for part of this project. Q: When will construction begin? A: We hope to be able to commence construction as soon as March 2017 Q: How long will construction take? A: We expect that the construction could take 2-5 months. Q: Will our facilities continue to be usable during construction? A: The work will be scheduled and completed in a manner that will allow us to continue using our facilities while all construction is being done.

Why are BRAC Child and Youth Ministries important to you and your family? The BRAC children s ministry has been such a blessing to our family and is a big reason why we attend this particular church. From day one the staff and volunteers made all four of our kids feel at home. It is something they look forward to each week. Our daughter loves it so much that she asks to attend both services! They all have made such great connections with the friends that are in their classes as well as gaining a stronger relationship with Jesus. I love when they sing out songs from church in the middle of the grocery store, spreading the Word wherever they go. And it s all because of the wonderful BRAC crew who has shown nothing but love and kindness to our children, through the love and guidance of Jesus Christ. Brittany Davidson At work the other day a little girl recognized me as her church teacher and came over to talk to me. She beckoned me closer to her and said, I can t wait to see you on Sunday cuz I love your hugs! It made my heart happy and my eyes well up. If you need confirmation that we re making a difference in this ministry, this is it. These little hearts soak up everything around them. They come to church excited, knowing that someone there will love on them. I am so blessed that God lets me be a small piece of that and that I get to witness them soaking up Jesus. I love my church!! Chelsea Griffin BRAC children s ministry has been such a blessing to our family! My boys come home telling me about the Bible stories they have learned about, asking more questions about God because of those stories, and singing songs about Jesus. We try to instill biblical beliefs in our kids at home and BRAC takes that and brings it to the next level for them. We are so grateful for a wonderful church family to help shape our kid s foundation. Rachel Daniels

Where We re Going... Our Goal! "Our goal is to connect and expand our church building, so that we may be able to better reach and make disciples both locally and globally. In order to do that, we need 100% involvement from our church body! The desire of our church leadership is to move forward with the $900,000 project. That being said, in the spirit of good stewardship, we are waiting to see how the Lord moves before deciding how much we can afford to spend on this project, knowing that we must have at least 50% of the cost in hand before breaking ground. Please take a moment to look at the table below and you will see what a difference you can make!
