Holy Trinity Parish February 25, 2018 Second Sunday of Lent

HOLY TRINITY PARISH FEBRUARY 25, 2018 LIGONIER, PA Diocesan Lenten Appeal This weekend is Education Weekend, we heard at all Masses about the importance of participating in this year s Appeal. Please remember that next weekend is Commitment Weekend. If you haven t spent time reviewing the request that you received in the mail from Bishop Malesic, please take a few minutes this week to do so. Important Note Concerning Lenten Activities Schedules Please be advised that the schedule included in the folder in your March packet of church envelopes is not accurate. The information that is in the folder was correct at the time it was submitted to the envelope company for printing. Because there have been changes in mass times activities during Lent after the early January deadline for submitting the template for the folder to the envelope company, please follow the schedule in the weekly bulletin (which is not the same every week) ignore the schedule in the folder that was included with your March envelope packet. We apologize for any confusion the changed schedule may cause you. Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl Weekly Encounter Each week as part of the CRS Rice Bowl Program, information is provided about some of the individuals that are served by the program. This week: We encounter Cesia in Nicaragua, where despite a lack of economic opportunity, young people pursuer their dreams by building businesses to better their lives. How can you work to improve the lives of others this Lent? How can you support those, worldwide, who are forced to flee their homes to find safety or better opportunities? Please pick up complete information about Cesia on the table in the Narthex. Edge 8th Graders..New Transition to LifeTeen Parent Teen Meeting will be held this Sunday from noon to 2 PM In the Atrium.
